Today we finally made it in for table service! We usually stop by to pick up churros to enjoy at home, but we were up early and decided to have breakfast at the restaurant instead. There's plenty of parking in the back, plus a few street parking spots in front. If you park in the back, just make your way around to the front entrance. It was busy when we arrived, and they told us the wait would be about 20-25 minutes. I think we were seated in about 15, and my kiddo had fun hanging out in the little library while we waited. Once we were seated, we ordered our food, and the entire staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive. They checked on us throughout the meal, and we ended up finishing everything! The food is amazing, but the drinks deserve their own shoutout. We ordered the Agua de Piña, iced horchata, café de olla, and a regular coffee, and every single one was delicious. We'll definitely be back to try the burritos and asada fries. Oh, and of course we couldn't leave without ordering churros to go!

Dropped by for a quick cup of cafe de olla. I'm always satisfied with my order and quality of service. The staff here are just so friendly - special shout out to Enrique and destiny for always being so warm and attentive.

My wife and I came to have breakfast here because I saw their social media video and mention it to my wife. This place has a private parking lot in the back that is shared with other businesses or you can do street parking. We did the street parking across the street. When we came, they were busy but not too bad. They let us choose if we wanted indoor or outdoor seating and my wife chose outdoor. I got the breakfast burrito with bacon and my wife got the chilaquiles with red sauce and green sauce. For my drink, I got a cola in a glass bottle and my wife got her cafe de olla. Our food came out quick, like right after our waiter came back with our drinks. The problem if you sit outside is the flies so be aware. I thought the burrito was okay and their sauce was mild in term of spicy. My wife like her chilaquiles and cafe de olla too. She finished her dish but I barely ate my food since our daughter started to cry. I asked for a to go box and extra sauce, they give me three cups of the sauce which was very generous.

Came here with a friend last Sunday. My overall impression was mediocre. To start it is pretty popular and there was a lot of people waiting and we were sat quickly considering. That being said the service is not the greatest. We ordered their Chilaquiles, green ones with Carne and I have to say they were tasty but that's all that was tasty. Their coffee is the worst I've ever had anywhere and the lattes are super sweet. You're not really getting coffee you're getting more of a dessert drink. When we paid, the server didn't give us an option to leave a tip she just took our bill and we pretty much were asked to leave since they continued to come and ask us if we were done. I don't think I I'll visit again.

Food is still amazing but the services is really not there anymore.... Waited for a long time to get our food and they lost my breakfast... so everyone ate at different times. Way undertrained or unorganized.

I hate having to give a lower rating came in yesterday because I wanted coffee for my self and my mom since it was a chilly day. My mom only drinks decaf coffee for health reasons. We ordered and were told while waiting for our drinks they were all out of decaf. Had to go back to the counter for my refund, I asked if we can switch to another item and tried getting a agua Fresca. There's a list of I believe 5 in the menu. Staff told us some are season, but for sure had the top 3 so my mom chose one. He came back to tell us they didnt have it either. We ended up getting strawberry lemonade, but weren't even upgraded to a larger size or anything I'll have to stay away for a while

My brother took him today to try this place raving about that Chilaquiles. I remember coming to this place when it was just like a churro and coffee place. Let me tell you. They do not disappoint. I must try. If you're into chilaquiles. I had a divorciado with Stack, and I keep hearing about horchata coffee. I also tried it. I had it with the café, canela. Not bad. Be careful. It's sugar as for more ice but let me tell you the place it was packed with people, but we were still acknowledge for how long time would be very attended to as well. We were there Heidi recommend the place.

Such a cute little spot in San Fernando! The staff could have been a bit friendlier but the food was good! We loved all of the menu options but I think we would skip the drinks next time.

San Fernando is a narrow 2 way street but there is parking available. We found a metered spot and put money in for an hour. You have to pay everyday except Sundays. The inside was cute and busy. There are tables and a bar area to sit at. You place your order at the counter and they give you a number so they can bring your order to you. Staff was friendly, they gave us a few min to go over the menu and answered any questions we had. The menu had drinks, small bites and sandwitches. Drinks also came out quickly, although we did have to wait longer for the food items. My matcha that I ordered was really good, it was off the seasonal menu. It was a peach basil matcha, very creative combination and the basil was not overpowering at all. I also got an avocado toast with egg and that item was a little underwhelming. The egg was cold and the avocado needed a little more flavor. However, overall good experience.

I had to order an additional shot of espresso to add to it in order to feel a boost. The drink may have been too sweet, but the espresso evened it out. The drink costs 5 bucks, and adding a shot costs 3, so I spent 8 dollars on a drink here just to fix it. However, that was a small hiccup; the coffee shop was nice and small and very cozy. Felt family-friendly, it is next to the restaurant, which is owned by the same owner. They have little games on their counter you can play while you wait, which is what my kids did. Kept them entertained while they waited for my coffee and my shot. The staff was very friendly and nice, and there are a lot of inspirational quotes all over the waiting area. Parking here does suck, but there's plenty of street parking if needed. I probably would not go out of my way to come to this location, but if I'm close by at the local parks, then I would come here and try some specialty drinks. It seems like they got plenty. Overall a great place, small drink hiccup, but I can always stick to my usual americanos.

I came when it was not busy and got my drink in under two minutes. However, the person sitting next to me (with the cutest doggie! They're dog friendly, I think ) waited longer than 10 minutes for her drink. However, this was during a rush and when it was probably the busiest in the morning (?) AMBIANCE AND ENVIRONMENT: The music volume was pretty good. It was low level when the place got busy due to people chatting, machines, ice scooping etc., but when it wasn't so busy, the level was about medium due to the atmosphere being more quiet. The vibes were Mumford and sons, Oasis, Of Monsters and Men, the Head and the Heart, and some classical sprinkled here and there. It is smaller than a chain, but cozy with quite a few seats and table options. I think they did a great job at making the best of the space. The space also encourages community as half of the seating options are shared/shareable. All within an arms reach, which in my personal opinion, is plenty of space. Because of this, it encourages you to acknowledge your fellow human being sitting across, or beside you. The environment was clean, bright, and comfortable. The environment feedback I woukd give is perhaps a stronger sun shade in the windows that the bar and stools face. I first sat here but within minutes decide to move because the heat was a bit too much for me. Again! A personal preference. Coffee shops can also naturally get warm due to the energy being used for the machines and refrigerators, so something to consider. The air-conditioning kicked in a little later which helped make it more comfortable. Another thing I noticed is the outlet near the corner table and lounge chairs has a an outlet extender plugged into the wall outlet, but the wall outlet is extremely loose with no faceplate. This can cause electric shock, wiring damage and possible fires. I know from personal experience. It's a real easy and cheap fix that I highlyyy recommend they do ASAP. Just trying to be helpful because I really, really like this spot. FOOD AND DRINKS: I ordered a Hibiscus Berry Blend, as is, iced. It was $5.00 even. It is served in a14 Oz. cup. With ice, it's probably about 12-13 Oz. of drink you're getting. I think it was worth it. The flavor was equal and very nice. Not too fruity, not too watery. It wasn't sweet, due to me not asking for any additional sweetener. As I sat and worked, I heard a lot of other orders and some were very creative. So they do have all those fun drinks people love to indulge in occasionally. They also have classic drip coffee and loose leaf tea. THE REASON WHY I TRIED INICIO: The biggest thing I noticed, being an activist myself involved in many efforts for social justice through my work and personal life, was their mission to erase modern day slavery. Human trafficking is a horrible thing that unfortunately is haooening right before out very eyes. They donate a portion of all food, drink, and catering sales to Justice 180. That is honestly, the reason why I came. I would love to partner with them and invite them to come cater at my center. I plan to spread the word about this place and continue to support them.
