Came by for some coffee and a quick bite. No complaints. Food, service, and atmosphere was excellent as always. It wasn't too crowded today so i got to enjoy my food without much traffic. I noticed they stocked up on their signature cafe de olla. Definitely worth buying.

My wife and I came to have breakfast here because I saw their social media video and mention it to my wife. This place has a private parking lot in the back that is shared with other businesses or you can do street parking. We did the street parking across the street. When we came, they were busy but not too bad. They let us choose if we wanted indoor or outdoor seating and my wife chose outdoor. I got the breakfast burrito with bacon and my wife got the chilaquiles with red sauce and green sauce. For my drink, I got a cola in a glass bottle and my wife got her cafe de olla. Our food came out quick, like right after our waiter came back with our drinks. The problem if you sit outside is the flies so be aware. I thought the burrito was okay and their sauce was mild in term of spicy. My wife like her chilaquiles and cafe de olla too. She finished her dish but I barely ate my food since our daughter started to cry. I asked for a to go box and extra sauce, they give me three cups of the sauce which was very generous.

I hate having to give a lower rating came in yesterday because I wanted coffee for my self and my mom since it was a chilly day. My mom only drinks decaf coffee for health reasons. We ordered and were told while waiting for our drinks they were all out of decaf. Had to go back to the counter for my refund, I asked if we can switch to another item and tried getting a agua Fresca. There's a list of I believe 5 in the menu. Staff told us some are season, but for sure had the top 3 so my mom chose one. He came back to tell us they didnt have it either. We ended up getting strawberry lemonade, but weren't even upgraded to a larger size or anything I'll have to stay away for a while

My brother took him today to try this place raving about that Chilaquiles. I remember coming to this place when it was just like a churro and coffee place. Let me tell you. They do not disappoint. I must try. If you're into chilaquiles. I had a divorciado with Stack, and I keep hearing about horchata coffee. I also tried it. I had it with the café, canela. Not bad. Be careful. It's sugar as for more ice but let me tell you the place it was packed with people, but we were still acknowledge for how long time would be very attended to as well. We were there Heidi recommend the place.

Came here with a friend last Sunday. My overall impression was mediocre. To start it is pretty popular and there was a lot of people waiting and we were sat quickly considering. That being said the service is not the greatest. We ordered their Chilaquiles, green ones with Carne and I have to say they were tasty but that's all that was tasty. Their coffee is the worst I've ever had anywhere and the lattes are super sweet. You're not really getting coffee you're getting more of a dessert drink. When we paid, the server didn't give us an option to leave a tip she just took our bill and we pretty much were asked to leave since they continued to come and ask us if we were done. I don't think I I'll visit again.

Such a cute little spot in San Fernando! The staff could have been a bit friendlier but the food was good! We loved all of the menu options but I think we would skip the drinks next time.

The cutest cafe in a quant little plaza in the heart of San Fernando! Finally had a chance to drive out to check it out. Food? Savory and very tasty! My husband and I had the chilaquiles divorciados with steak , huevos rancheros and the French toast with lechera. All great! All equally delicious! My husband loved the green salsa so much we had to ask for extra! Service was great, they came to check in on us often especially Viri she was so kind and she shared her recommendations! I might say that for a Friday morning, this place was poppin!!! Also, cafe de olla was nothing short of legit!! So busy but they do have outside dining area! Not pushy and it's just an overall a beautiful experience! Thank you for having us ! We will be back

I came in here excited to try a new spot. We ordered the huevos rancheros and chilaquiles. So we're sat in a table and then they hand us a to-go bag with the food in a Tupperware when it was for a dine-in?? Needless to say, it ruined the experience.

Iced cold frappe cafe de olla!;)

Excellent service, my son and I arrived early in the morning. We were greeted at the door and seated right away. Destiny our waitress provided professional service and answered all our questions. My son ordered the green salsa chilaquiles topped with over easy eggs and carne asada. The tortilla chips were nicely crunchy, salsa was perfect flavor, not too spicy just right. Topped with cheese and sliced red onions. Very filling. I decided to go with the French toast, topped with powdered sugar, blueberries and strawberries. You didn't need to add any more. I had the café de olla and it was so good, perfect in sweetness! My son order the frappe cafe de olla and he loved it! Definitely will be back to this Family owned business!

Staff was friendly, they gave us a few min to go over the menu and answered any questions we had. The menu had drinks, small bites and sandwitches. Drinks also came out quickly, although we did have to wait longer for the food items. My matcha that I ordered was really good, it was off the seasonal menu. It was a peach basil matcha, very creative combination and the basil was not overpowering at all. I also got an avocado toast with egg and that item was a little underwhelming. The egg was cold and the avocado needed a little more flavor. However, overall good experience.

I used to come here for lunch almost every day when I worked in the area, and I was especially a big fan of their café de olla. The food menu (and prices) still seems to be the same as before, but the quality doesn't feel quite the same. Their spicy salsa (cacahuate) now tastes watered down and bland, and even the food and coffee don't have the same flavor they used to. I'll still stop by occasionally for my usual potato tacos or tacos de carne asada, but it's not quite the same experience I remember. The interior has also changed, and personally, I preferred the way it looked before. It used to have a more homey, cozy feel to it. The changes aren't terrible, but I do feel like some things went downhill after the rebrand. That said, the staff is wonderful. They're kind, helpful, and the service is always fast. I still have a soft spot for this place, but I do miss how it used to be.

I came when it was not busy and got my drink in under two minutes. However, the person sitting next to me (with the cutest doggie! They're dog friendly, I think ) waited longer than 10 minutes for her drink. However, this was during a rush and when it was probably the busiest in the morning (?) AMBIANCE AND ENVIRONMENT: The music volume was pretty good. It was low level when the place got busy due to people chatting, machines, ice scooping etc., but when it wasn't so busy, the level was about medium due to the atmosphere being more quiet. The vibes were Mumford and sons, Oasis, Of Monsters and Men, the Head and the Heart, and some classical sprinkled here and there. It is smaller than a chain, but cozy with quite a few seats and table options. I think they did a great job at making the best of the space. The space also encourages community as half of the seating options are shared/shareable. All within an arms reach, which in my personal opinion, is plenty of space. Because of this, it encourages you to acknowledge your fellow human being sitting across, or beside you. The environment was clean, bright, and comfortable. The environment feedback I woukd give is perhaps a stronger sun shade in the windows that the bar and stools face. I first sat here but within minutes decide to move because the heat was a bit too much for me. Again! A personal preference. Coffee shops can also naturally get warm due to the energy being used for the machines and refrigerators, so something to consider. The air-conditioning kicked in a little later which helped make it more comfortable. Another thing I noticed is the outlet near the corner table and lounge chairs has a an outlet extender plugged into the wall outlet, but the wall outlet is extremely loose with no faceplate. This can cause electric shock, wiring damage and possible fires. I know from personal experience. It's a real easy and cheap fix that I highlyyy recommend they do ASAP. Just trying to be helpful because I really, really like this spot. FOOD AND DRINKS: I ordered a Hibiscus Berry Blend, as is, iced. It was $5.00 even. It is served in a14 Oz. cup. With ice, it's probably about 12-13 Oz. of drink you're getting. I think it was worth it. The flavor was equal and very nice. Not too fruity, not too watery. It wasn't sweet, due to me not asking for any additional sweetener. As I sat and worked, I heard a lot of other orders and some were very creative. So they do have all those fun drinks people love to indulge in occasionally. They also have classic drip coffee and loose leaf tea. THE REASON WHY I TRIED INICIO: The biggest thing I noticed, being an activist myself involved in many efforts for social justice through my work and personal life, was their mission to erase modern day slavery. Human trafficking is a horrible thing that unfortunately is haooening right before out very eyes. They donate a portion of all food, drink, and catering sales to Justice 180. That is honestly, the reason why I came. I would love to partner with them and invite them to come cater at my center. I plan to spread the word about this place and continue to support them.

As always, the food was great, portions are generous, the restaurant was busy and our server was nice. My friend and I came in for breakfast, ordered our entrees and both ordered iced tea. The cups our beverages were brought in, were plastic to go cups, but I was like okay whatever, maybe the kitchen is busy and they didn't have time to clean the glasses. My friend asked for a refill, and I don't remember if she was brought over an entirely new drink or if the server took her plastic cup away, and refilled it. About five minutes later when I asked for a refill, we were then notified that they charge for refills. So, the first time we were charged for a refill without being notified, and then when I asked for a refill we were then told of this "refill" charge, which is basically the cost of an entirely new drink. I declined the "refill." So, for 3-20 oz black iced teas we were charged $12.75. I understand that prices are going up, and restaurants may charge for refills, but the way this was handled was off putting and kind of gross.
