VERY intriguing menu, with a bit of everything - pierogies, stuffed cabbage, chicken (parm, marsala, and francaise), fish & chips, steak tips.... different kinds of pizza, salads, and grinders. Tough choice, but I went wirh....eggplant fries and a whole eggplant parm grinder. The fries came with an excellent marinara sauce (I can picture Nona Lucia stirring a huge pot early in the morning). Fries were nice and fresh and crispy. Same with the grinder. The eggplant held it's own and wasn't mushy. Service, rendered by two ladies who tag-teamed me, was excellent. Prices reasonable. Food was great. Service was good. This was clearly a local place but wanted my hubs to get his final eggplant parm grinder. Not terribly busy during the day but they did a lot of takeout. The eggplant parm did not disappoint. I had a pasta dish but the fresh bread and homemade chicken noodle was just what I needed on a rainy day. read more

THE BEST GARLIC PIZZA 10/10/25 dinnertime, to-go order: whoever put the garlic on this pizza deserves a raise. SO much fresh garlic...my husband left the room, which was nice. Our lab, who eats ANYTHING, spit it out. Finally, garlic breath with surprising staying power, days even. Excellent pizza, nice location, friendly staff. I'll be back. Consistently good, on time and good customer service. Suffield Pizza has very good sales, grinders and of course pizza. They are a go to on our list of local take out joints. We've never eaten in and I don't think we will so I can't really assess that aspect of the experience. However if you need an Italian cold cut or a simple meat lovers pizza for a Sunday afternoon sporting event this is a safe bet. read more

I'm a big Pizza fan. While I'm not that picky about what's good and bad, avoid this place if you have pizza in mind. I've never had a thin crust pizza served in which the dough wasn't even half cooked.... until waiting nearly a hour for this one to appear. The sauce ? Bland seemingly consisting of nothing more than stewed tomatoes. My guest mentioned a couple times that she hit a patch of disgustingly odd flavor; of which, minutes later I was to hit the same level of disgust. It was, in fact, a house special. The offbeat flavor could not be nailed down to any particular item meat or otherwise. Needless to say.... We won't be going back. If you're coming back from Six Flags, and suddenly get an urge for a pizza, make sure you drive right on by. read more

The first time I came here I was a little hesitant - expecting a diner experience. However, I was pleasantly surprised and have been back dozen's of times since then! The food is consistently good, the portions are huge, and the prices are reasonable. The menu is very extensive - there's something for everyone here. The food is fresh. I usually get the pierogis (which come with a real salad with greens, not cheap iceberg lettuce - you can tell a lot about the quality of a restaurant by the lettuce in their salad!), My husband gets a calzone - which is HUGE. My father in law has gotten various dishes here - including the homemade golombki, the pasta cavatappi affumicatti, and the fish and chips - which are all excellent. We also like the warm pretzels and beer cheese dip as an appetizer! Definitely recommend Suffield Pizza! read more

Excellent Service and Great Chicken Francaise. Not sure why so many negative energy post. The server was top shelf with perfect timing of the beer, salad, warm bread and Chicken Francaise. When my first beer was down to 1.69" she asked for the obvious second. She also did the follow up on the salad and meal which is basically MIA in most places these days. The Chicken Francaise was breaded and cooked perfectly. The lemon butter sauce was just right and the rigatoni noddles were perfect al dente. I took half the CF home and seconds are always better. I used to come here almost weekly before moving to Florida 7 years ago. I cane up for business and I HAD to come back and have the Chicken Parm. No Disappointments!! Everything changed, but yet, stayed the same. Delicious food, great service and now I have to go back to Florida for overpriced, mediocre "Italian". This is still my favorite Italian restaurant. My wife and I have been here 2 times and each time I get the veal parmigiana and you will not be disappointed with the meal....I couldn't finish the meal my wife has tried their spaghetti and other dishes and they are super. Went here a few weeks ago for a friends daughters birthday party. The servers were very rude, from the beginning to the end. The food was pretty good, it is not italian but more of a greek style pizza. Salad was enjoyed by all. My friend ask the server if they had choc cake and if they could bring out a piece, while singing happy birthday. She said in a distained voice, we don't do that here. Then comes back and announces to the whole table that they did not have choc cake, and would she want something else. Shouting across the table. My friend was pretty upset, this was suppose to be a surprise. When we started singing happy bday the whole restaurant sang in, making up for the non singing staff. Didn't have a great experience.... The server was very nice and the salad, bread and kids meal was good, but the rest was just okay. I didn't think mine was too awful, just really not seasoned at all for an Italian pasta dinner, but my husband said his was horrible and compared it to a Gordan Ramsey "Kitchen Nightmares" before the make over. He said the marinara sauce was a puddle of grease on top for his appetizer and his burger was super greasy and tasted bad too. Don't see us going back anytime soon... read more

Does this place have new ownership?? Suffield Pizza has always been my go-to place in the area. I've had their food dozens of times over many years and always been happy.. until recently. Ordered a small and a medium pizza. They were the exact same size! Not sure what happened, but I didn't get what I ordered. My favorite pizza is their bbq chicken pizza. This recent one had so much sauce it was flowing off the pizza, so messy since it was falling apart. The bbq sauce was SOO spicy most of us couldn't touch the pizza. My mouth was burning, i was sweating! I stupidly ate it and was pretty sick the next day as spicy food doesn't agree with me. It's never had any spiciness in the past. I also tried the plain cheese pizza and it was also poorly made, maybe under cooked or the ratios were off. Ordered a side salad as I have many times and it no longer seems to come with cheese on it. The parmesan peppercorn dressing wasn't as good as I remembered either. The drink cooler has always been empty, except 1 or 2 types or drinks. I could never understand this, but its nothing new. Hey suffield Pizza, get some drinks and we will buy them. I instead have to make a second stop at the store since they have virtually none. Lastly, the website looks different than before, maybe its new but its somehow even worse than the previous one. All I want is the menu easily readable along with the hours and a phone number. It's a battle on the current site. I hope this was just an off day because I really loved this place formerly. PS - Whats up with being closed on sunday?? Great family mediterranean restaurant. To begin, to pizza is very solid. The grinders are great. I always stick to the chicken or veal par magian, they are so good. The sauce is tasty and the meat is amazing. Also, a chicken cutlet grinder is another good bet. On to the dinners, the chicken parm and veal parm come in at the top of the list. Big portions and high quality. My next favorite dish is the seafood fra diavlo. The sauce has the perfect amount of red pepper for spice and this comes in at my favorite seafood dish around. The chicken marsala is also a great choice. Salads are also a good place to start. My favorite is the greek or santerini (greek with grilled chicken and if your not counting calories ask for it with crispy chicken and it may be the best salad you have ever had). I have tried most of the dinners and none of them has let me down. I would recommend this place to anyone and the food is just as great for take-out as it is sitting down. read more

Clearly the food was made from scratch and fresh! Considering what we ordered- in many places that is not the case.
