The staff was super friendly (from the front desk staff, to the techs, nurses and doctors). I felt the wait time was fair - I didn't feel like my time was taken for granted. It was just a very smooth process. I knew what to expect at all steps. My favorite part was how the practice was flexible with my schedule. Something as simple as checking in online and being able to email the staff (instead of calling in) with questions was super helpful. It was also a beautiful and clean facility. Waiting…read moreroom was filled, so that seemed like a good recommendation Had the pre-doc vision screen, then waited for interior eye imaging Sat for 30 minutes, told I was I next, then 5 to 6 people went ahead me. Talked to one person waiting who says the Dr visits are like 5 minutes Saw Dr. Kapoor- very nice and easy to talk to. Listened well to me. Told me the cause of my eye issue, expected progress, and treatment. Felt like that was proper care for what i had, now we see what it does. My visit was 8 minutes, but all the my issues where addressed. so OK Besides the wait issue, seeing Dr Kapoor is hard schedule. Very busy. I do trust him in taking care of my eyes.

I would say the nurses in S. Medical at the Obici Hospital were overworked & overwhelmed but they'd have to get off their phones and attend to patients first. I've been in understaffed hospitals before but have never seen a hospital with such lax care and humanity. I was with a patient for over five hours and a nurse came to check in and take vitals once. He needed help with going to the bathroom and their response was he can wait until we are ready. Yes, a few nurses actually said that before turning back to their phones.

I have to say that this is one of the nicer hospitals I've ever been in. They took great care of my dad on every level, from ER to the Cath Lab. The Nurses were extremely attentive to his needs and were very welcoming even when he had a case of the grumpies. I spoke with the floor manager before we left to tell her how phenomenal everyone was. Annnd, by far the best cafeteria food! The little old lady down there made the best sandwiches. Homemade oil and vinegar - she was proud of it and it made the Sammie. They also have a wood fire pizza oven! Crazy! Anyway - overall great experience all around.
