The person taking your order makes sure that he gets everything right/customizations before you pay... I like that level of detail. They are also taking COVID very seriously... lots of plexiglass... you never have to Interact with the other person. My husband likes the pesto melt a lot; I've had the steak and Buffalo melt, and both were good! We honestly split our sandwiches so we can have half of two different kinds. Fries are pretty basic, but seasoned well. Haven't tried the cheese curds yet... maybe one day! Give this truck a try if you see it around town!

I guess people like it, and for good reason. We tried several tacos - steak, chorizo, pork, and chicken. All were good and tasty. We didn't get the onions, but it did come with radishes, cucumbers, and limes on the side. They charge extra for cheese, so we just put some shredded cheese on it once we got home. Each taco came double wrapped with tortillas. There are several other options on the menu I'd like to try next time they are in the neighborhood. Also, according to their FB reviews, they also have some menu specials such as shrimp tacos and quesadillas every so often, but weren't there when we went. Hopefully next time!

My job was in a big UAB office building that did not have an active cafeteria, so they would have food trucks come serve us multiple times a month. Satay n Roll was definitely my favorite. I would usually get the Bagel Roll, and then pair it with either fried rice, fried dumplings, or crab angels, depending on my mood. Satay n Roll stays moving around, so I had not eaten from the truck since I left the Birmingham area. Luckily, I came into town this week and was able to track them down; they post a schedule on Facebook. I got the Bagel Roll, of course, and crab angels with a Diet Coke. It's a heavy meal, but yummy. The staff is also super nice. I would go on another adventure to track them down again!

After eating at the hospital all week it was a nice change. When I arrived outside there was a small line and the smell from the truck was delicious. I only ordered a couple of sides but their menu is very nice and the prices are very reasonable. The lady that took my order was friendly and the service was fast. I ordered the crab angels and fried dumplings. They were so good! The dumplings were crispy and delicious with the sweet chili sauce they were served with. The crab angels were crispy, creamy, and perfectly sweet with duck sauce. They were so good I forgot to take a picture. Thank you, Satay n Roll for making food that got my mom to eat. This meal is the only thing she's taken more than two bites of since she was admitted.

The food truck is easy to spot since it's covered in fun, vibrant colors with fruit all over. The line was pretty packed but it was still easy to place an order and I didn't wait too long. The peach flavor wasn't overwhelming and the lemonade wasn't too sweet, the two flavors blended really well. I'm also a fan of the portion size, this was worthwhile. It is located in the Edwards Lake Road Lowe's parking lot near the back of the Staples. Looking back over my check in photos, I have consistently ordered the Campechano Tacos which is a typical go to for me with any taco truck. On my most recent stop I ordered the Campechano Quesadilla instead. While I did enjoy it, I think next time I get a quesadilla, I will try the Pollo or Asada instead. I was also very tempted by the tamales and plan to try them on a future visit. I timed my visit just right and was able to order with no wait because almost immediately several people showed up behind me. It did not take long for the pager they gave me to go off for me to receive my order.

I've been a fan/customer way before Whitney had her truck and held pop-ups at events around the city. The food is always fresh and hot since it's made to order. I love how she offers a different menu than what most of the other trucks offer. She even offers a salad option for those that want a lighter fare. If you're looking for burgers or polish sausage...this isn't your truck. But if you want delicious, Creole inspired cuisine, definitely look out for Simone's Kitchen ATL (the truck) at a location near you.

Since they also have a Conecuh Corndog I thought they would basically be mini corn dogs. Instead it was typical hushpuppies with small pieces of the sausage mixed in. Not bad but not quite what I was expecting. They also were a little greasier than I thought they should be. The pimento cheese & pepper jelly was a nice accompaniment and added to the flavor. Ultimately I will probably try something else next time. I got a side of the Mac N Cheese which is my usual go to at most all the locations. Banana Pudding is also good. It did not take long to order and food was ready pretty quickly. The Colonel (Sweet Tea Fried Chicken, Pimento Cheese, Tomato, Pickles & white BBQ sauce) is one of my favorites and my wife is a fan of the Smoked Chicken.
