Nose-Blow chicken. Snot Chicken. Supposed to be lemongrass chicken but not a single piece of actual lemongrass.

I got a lemongrass chicken stir fry from the "vietnamese" menu. I got nose-blow chicken. It looked like snot. Im sorry. It was the weirdest semi-transparent white-ish sauce that ive ever been served on a plate and it most resembled mucus. If youre dirty, you may think something else. There wasnt a single piece of lemongrass in it. It was so bland that it tasted like nothing. Look at my picture. Service was good. The inside is all shades of the same color scheme... pale yellow/tan/beige. Its weird.

Yum yum YUM !! it was our first time at Sugar Cane and we very much enjoyed it. First off our server was wonderful, funny and friendly. They have a big drink menu which we got our mai tai flights from , they were yummy! I had ordered the chicken pho , even the small order was big ! The pupu plater came with some of the best chicken fingers I've had. The beef fried rice was flavorful. I didn't get to try the chicken lettuce wraps but my partner did say they were so so GOOD she couldn't stop eating even when she knew she had to stop haha. Thank you Sugar Cane , we will be coming back.

Have they brought back the peking duck yet? it was removed due to covid (why?) and still gone from the menu.

Sorry Matt, because of the pandemic and current labor shortage we are unable to officially put the Peking duck back on the menu. However if you wish to order the peking duck, you can reserve one 2 days ahead and I wil make sure to have it ready for… Read more

The ambience here is phun AF and komfy AF. A bar area in front loaded with locals and much joviality here. Keno and scratch tix add to the festivus happening here. Moey and I opted to sit in the dining area which was somewhat spartan but still quite nice with white table clothes and a bit of minimal bric-a-brac decor peppered about. The drink menu is HUGE and prices are very reasonable. I was quite smitten that not only did they have the usual array and Tiki Cocktails but they also have a HUGE list of classic American old-people favs such as Rob Roys and Stingers and Wallbangers and many, many more as well as a list of straight-up boozes of cordials and bourbons and tequilas and everything. This "dwink" menu was perfect for a noon-time lunch session. My latest jam is to pair old-people cocktails like Martinis and Manhattans and Sidecars with my Chinese food. Admittedly, I usually first "practice up" by starting things off with a tiki drink or two and then I will get the ball rolling by proceeding into the old-people cocktails. It works quite well for me. The phood menu was the usual Moo-Goos and Moo-Shoes and Kow Pangs, etc. Rather than bore you with details let's just say that all phood was hot n' fresh and scrump AF, bro. Everything took care of business and then some... The waitress was wicked nice and a total honeybunch. All smiles and on the ball. In short everything is wicked pissah and then some... HIGHLY recommended to all YELPers and non YELPers alike. Peep it out! NOTE: This was the best eggroll I've had. Krispy AF and great texture and flav.

Served with spiked soy sauce for drizzling or dipping. Nice change-of-pace item. -- Salt and Pepper Wings: Breaded, fried, seasoned, and topped with black pepper, fresh peppers, and onions. Crisp and juicy, but ultimately not that spicy. Still enjoyable. -- Wontons: Crisp, standard, solid. -- House Asian Noodle: Thin yellow noodles, some bites crispy, some chewy, topped with scallops, shrimp, chicken and vegetables, mixed with a rice wine sauce. I found both the seafood and the sauce (or lack thereof) bland. -- General Gao's Chicken: Bite size pieces, impressively crisp, though slightly dry, tossed in a reddish sauce with a little more heat and a little less sweet than most. -- Shrimp and Lobster Sauce: Nice rendition, sauce thin but not watery, and certainly not gloppy, with gentle pork crumbles, good black bean flavor and whole black beans in there too. -- Pork Fried Rice: Very fresh preparation with decent color, hints of old time flavor, and generous allotments of pork nuggets, bean sprouts, onion, and egg. One of the better ones out there. More of a good meal than a great one, but still good enough to cling onto the 4.

My boyfriend liked the food, but I'm not really a fan. We got pork lo mein, sweet and sour chicken, bone-in ribs and Thai chicken teriyaki. We called to place a takeout order and went by the menu on their website. I wish there were photos or better descriptions for all dishes. Sweet & Sour Chicken is one of my favorite dishes and it is a main dish (not an appetizer), but this was served as chicken fingers with sauce on the side. While I liked the flavor of chicken fingers and the chicken wasn't dry, I am disappointed that it is the same as ordering chicken fingers appetizer, just paying more. Thai Chicken Teriyaki (chicken skewers) is another favorite of mine. While this was ok, I wouldn't get it again. The chicken was cooked right and wasn't dry, but I didn't get much flavor besides something acidic (like vinegar based marinade). It didn't taste bad, but somewhat bland. It came with peanut sauce, which was completely frozen and also looked very unappetizing, so I didn't even try it. Pork lo mein and Bone-in ribs were not for me at all. They both had weird taste/aftertaste, so I only tried them and can't comment much. My boyfriend seemed to like both ok.
