First, we walked into Sugar Crazy and were immediately greeted by the staff. I really appreciated the non judgmental feeling I got at that store because I looked a mess after attending to my flowers all morning. You know how some other stores the employees act like they are doing you a favor by helping you or just avoid you altogether when you do not look 100 percent put together? Not the case in Sugar Crazy! Next, Sugar Crazy has the coolest masks for sale with a large variety to choose from. There were tons of childrens, Youth, and Adult masks. It was difficult to pick from so many and it was so great of Liz to come over and help me right away! Then, my daughter and I picked out a box of chocolate pretzels. We ate it when we got home and they were delicious! There was no skimping on anything! Completely fresh tasting! The store was colorful and bright! Sugar Crazy = Crazy Expensive. Lots of different ways to serve ice cream and gelato, but the prices are pretty outrageous. 2 scoop Sundae $12. Ice cream soda $10. Milk shakes $10-$13. Ice cream was good, not amazing. Here is the best one yet candy sushi platter with maybe 20 pieces of candy sushi $100!!!!! Loose candy $13 a pound. At these prices can't see the place surviving for the long haul. I hope I'm wrong though as I always want to see local businesses succeed. read more

EXTREMELY rude staff and very expensive. I purchased a Chocolate Bomb for $7.99. When I got home I noticed the seam of the Bomb was not full sealed. Consequently, it leaked the hot chocolate powder all over the outside of the bomb. I went back the next day to exchange it. Before I even showed it to the man at the check out counter, he said it is impossible that it would have leaked and accused me of dropping it (without even looking at it). I picked up a new one from the counter and showed him it had the exact same opening in the seam. He insisted I was wrong and once again told me I dropped it (which I did not). After having to defend myself several times he let me take another one, so at least he did that. My teenage daughter was with me and she too could not believe how rude he was to me. I will NEVER go back after how I was treated nor will I ever recommend anyone go there. read more

I went to Sugar Crazy to find face masks. They had a large selection of face masks for children, teens, adults. I, of course, had a surgical mask on when I went into Sugar Crazy which is in the Plainview Country Pointe Shopping Center. When I entered the store, I was relieved to see everyone wearing masks. The employees there are extremely helpful. I asked one of the employees if they had masks with a slit in the back where you could slip in your own filter. This employee & I went through all the masks & we found several with a slit in the mask to insert your own filter. I purchased a bright blue mask with white stars. I absolutely love it. While there, I purchase 2 packs of 5 surgical masks which were extremely well made & at a very reasonable price. I also purchased 2 boxes of clear plastic gloves, medium size. I have one box at home that I purchased on Amazon Prime but they only had one size small which, of course,I used but the gloves were extremely tight & blue in color. I was absolutely thrilled with all my purchases. I will definitely be back at Sugar Crazy! read more

Shopped at Sugar Crazy several times. All the female staff are friendly and helpful. The manager or owner (MAN) is the total opposite. Always rude to customers and rushes me out every time I am on the check out line. It makes the shopping experience very unpleasant. I only go back because of the help the female employees give me. I shopped there once again this week and I will NEVER go back again! The man was once again rude to me and I witnessed him rude to his staff. It was disgusting. He should let the female employees do their job and he should stay away from the customers. I would;dnt be surprised if his staff quits and the customers stop coming back. Was just in Sugar Crazy a little while ago to get some Squishmallows and we're told at the door that there is a new implemented rule of one "Rare Squishmallow" per person. That's perfect ! That way we can all get what we want! I was with some lovely girls in line and we had all discussed which ones we were interested in before going in to make sure we could do whatever we could to get eachother the squishmallows we wanted once we were inside. As we walked to the back the owner was standing there and I had grabbed the Squishmallow I wanted and one for a girl behind me in the line.. immediately this man raises his voice and says "It's one "rare" squishmallow per person" and I replied with "Oh, I'm sorry I didn't know you considered this one rare" (Keeping in mind this is a rule that was new to me and every one in line and I was at Sugar Crazy just last week when there was no rule. The owner of Sugar Crazy cut me off before I could even reply that there was someone behind me that I was about to give this Squishmallow to he raised his voice again and in a condescending tone in front of a store full of people repeated "You know that's rare, cmon you know that's rare" None of us at the store had any clue what was considered rare besides the very obvious ones and no where in the store did they have a list or sign stating what was "rare" nor was someone walking around telling us what was rare, just that you could only have on rare squishmallow at checkout. I have been coming to Sugar Crazy since it first opened and they had my favorite ice cream for years. The blatant disrespect from the owner himself was unacceptable. You know you're selling a "high value" product, you should be prepared for the questions and calls that come with it without bullying your customers in front of your entire store. It's so sad to say because we were having a great time waiting patiently and making friends in order to help eachother just to be berated by the OWNER of the store. read more

When we walk into sugar crazy it is like stepping into a world of dessert happiness. There are so many ice cream flavors and the quality is delicious. The waffles with ice cream was spectacular. Beyond impressed with Sugar Crazy in Country Pointe shopping center. My son has a peanut allergy and they have an entire case of A La Mode nut free/sesame free/egg free ice creams that he can choose from. In addition to separate nut free sprinkles (which he can't get anywhere)! They also have a huge selection of nut free chocolate treats and other nut free treats. And they clearly label everything in the store that is nut free!! Beyond the allergy awareness, they have a great selection of ice creams, edible cookie dough, shakes, etc. And the retail section of the store is a child's dream come true!!! Before I begin my noteworthy praise, I first need to start off by saying that this past Saturday, I had a terrible experience at Sugar Crazy. My daughter wanted a specific Squishmallow that was being advertised Friday night on the instagram page. I made sure to get to the store early and the line was already insanely long. People were saving spots, going into the store, purchasing their items, putting them in their cars and going back to other people on line, cutting everyone else waiting fairly; it was awful. I finally got into the store and, of course, the Squishmallow I had specifically gone to purchase was all sold out. Besides the fact that nobody working was at all sympathetic to me doing the right thing and getting the shaft for it, it was a really disgusting experience. However, today, I had to pick up something from the FABULOUS Dani at Kidcessories and I told Suzanne and Liz about my experience Saturday. They could not have been more wonderful. They helped me find something specific for my daughter, were beyond helpful, kind and empathetic. My experience from Saturday had made me write off the store but after how Suzanne and Liz handled the situation, I was incredibly grateful to know that my disappointment not only didn't fall on deaf ears but was received in such a way that I knew they also found it to be unacceptable. I can't say much about the "feeding frenzy" of people desperate to get their hands on multiple squishmallows for the clear purpose of taking them to resell them on their own but to save yourself from extreme frustration, make sure you call the store first to see if Suzanne and Liz are there and you will be sure to have an amazing, heartwarming and personalized experience! read more

We just went this weekend for the first time and we LOVED it! My kids' eyes lit up as soon as we walked in, and stayed that way until we left. So many delicious ice cream options, awesome candy selection, and more toys than they knew what to do with. They were in heaven!
