This store really does look like a cottage and is one of the cutest candy stores. I was on the hunt for the viral Dubai chocolate and they had it so I finally got to try it! It was so unique tasting, the chocolate part was delicious and creamy and then you get the crunch from the filling. Then, had to get some sour bubs since I now have been put on to Swedish candy and they're some of my favorites. Definitely check this store out if you're in the area! read more

There is nothing I dislike more than showing one thing and actually delivering another. I received a candy basket as a gift from my children. The picture is deceiving, it is not a basket, it is a paper plate holder. While the chocolate is delicious, it is hardly $60.00 worth of chocolate. Lots of tiny chocolate drops, some turtles, coconut candies and m and m bark. Sorry, there is not a pound of candy here, feel terrible for my kids- delivery was extra. Makes me angry. read more

We ordered the "large tray" of chocolate pretzels and chocolate covered Oreos For a high school graduation party. Based on the picture on their Instagram account we were expecting a tray of approximately 60-75 cookies. What arrived was a tray of 25 cookies. We felt the instagram picture was extremely misleading. Calls to the store were met by essentially "tough luck". We offered to return this tray and requested a refund. "We don't do refunds". 25 cookies cost us $77.00! I could have done this on my own from the local grocer for less than $10. Complete rip-off, take your business elsewhere. read more

Recently bought chocolate spinners ftom this adorable candy shop. The kids went crazy over them! They especially loved the ones with gummy bears. I'm going to give them out as party favors. I have to admit I loved the handmade chocolate and seeing the old time candy favorites. They also have some cute toys, many of which I haven't seen before. Sweeties is awesome! I live out of town, but visit family here and have been passing this place for years, always saying, "One day I have to stop in there." I'm so glad I finally did. Seems like this lady likes to give people attitudes and then tell people she was stressed. You own a chocolate store get over yourself. Witnessed her speaking so poorly to an employee. Cute little candy cottage... The name says it all. I love taking the kids here. They walk in and are surrounded by all sorts of different candies. Our first trip here was after we read "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," and I convinced them the Wonka factory was real and making real candy. I needed party favors and table decorations for about 100 people. I chose Sweeties because I understood that Lisa donates to local schools and organizations. Lisa worked with me even though what I needed was not exactly what she did. So, I'm 13 and I like candy, the candy selection is great here and probably the only good part. Tommorow I have the math NY state tests and I wanted candy so I went. My younger sister is 8 and she also enjoys the occasional candy snack. Now the reasons I only gave 1 star.
