Because of this, I had settled on another cut and was fully expecting that cut for our engagement. When my fiancé had popped the question and showed me the ring, I was STUNNNED. I was in shock that he had found the cut I wanted as well as incorporated all of the small details that we had talked about. Since it's large there's a chance of damaging the shoulders, texts, etc. My big concern is my fingers swell/shrink and I lost my last class ring from it falling off. The gentleman at Apollo advised making it larger and give it a week and see. The ring would fit right some days and almost fell off others as I suspected. When I went back to explore other routes he had a genius idea. He said he could place 2 gold beads inside the ring. It would grab the knuckle and stay secure but if my fingers swelled it would not hug the side of the ring. Been wearing it for a week and it's the absolute perfect fit. I don't feel the beads at all and wont have to worry about it falling off. Customer service was great and turn around time was very fast. A+ will be going back for my jewelry needs.

At the top of the stairs, a woman who I believe is named Brittany Y. began following closely behind them on the staircase, which felt unnecessary and made an already difficult situation more stressful. Once downstairs, I handed a cash tip directly to the gentleman. At that point, Brittany took the money from his hand and immediately asked me if I had more to give. When I said "excuse me," she responded, "Not trying to be tacky, but can you give him more money?" I declined. Instead of leaving it there, she remained outside harassing me while my husband and I secured the mirror and continued to ask us for more money. During this time, she told me that "this is her business, and the employee only makes $15 an hour and she doesn't have insurance for them to move things". This was uncomfortable and inappropriate. Discussing an employee's wages and internal policies with a customer-- and especially asking for more money--is highly unprofessional. I did apologize just to end the interaction, but the situation should never have escalated this way. I was willing to tip for help, but being pressured repeatedly and having the money taken from the employee was unacceptable. While I appreciate the help from the gentleman, this experience left a very negative impression. If employees are not supposed to assist with moving items, Brittany could have said something before they started down the stairs.

My in-person consultation and pickup were done with Nichole, who had a great, positive attitude and was very friendly. She understood the sentimental value of the piece I was having worked on and was very helpful in letting me know what alternatives could be done if for some reason the ring adjustment could not be performed. The price was very appropriate, at $150 for the resizing and polishing. I have every intention of using them in the future for my jewelry needs.
