They made alterations to our engagement ring. After six days of waiting, the bar that was added which should have changed the ring a half size decrease come out as a 1.5 size decrease. The ring is unwearable now. What should have been a simple repair rendered the ring unwearable. When I called to discuss the issue, they told us the size is fine. After talking to the jeweler, he said the work isn't possible after all. He says he was to to go ahead and do the wrong work knowing it wasn't what we wanted. My husband purchased my beautiful wedding ring set here two years ago. Now I come every six months for a cleaning an inspection. The guy knows me now and always stops what he's doing to greet me and see what I need. Most of the salespeople try to get me to stop at their booths while I'm walking towards the service area. He got a great quality , beautifully exquisite ring for a reasonable deal. Even though we have to drive from Clear Lake, we enjoy it because we'll stop at our favorite place to eat or grab a drink while up here. I highly recommend them for large purchases. read more

Avoid this place by all cost! I dropped the turquoise neckless there because one of my little loops broke. Not a big deal I thought just add a loop and that's the end of story. Boy, I was mistaken. They told me they will call next day to give me an estimate on the repair. Nobody did. The day later I called and they claimed they don't have any necklace. That made me furious! What a lack of responsibility! How you can lose a customer's jewelry?! Finally, after going back and forth and few calls they made they said they still have it but they didn't fix it yet and had some issues with it. Just to remember it was already 5th day and still nothing has been done to my piece. Finally I got so angry I said I'm just going to come and get it since their staff is so incompetent. (Impossible to tell where they added gold to make them bigger.) though I wasn't in the market for anything new, I was impressed by Plaza's large, bright, well-stocked showroom. Let me start by saying this place is filled with LIES!!!!! I never have ever left a review, but you can see how poor their customer service is. I wish i can could give this 0 stars if possible. We had walked in and talked to Prasanthi everything was great she was helpful after a week we called her to get started on designing a wedding band sent her the pictures she said it would be an easy thing to do just have explain to the designer in details as well over the phone. So a week goes by designer never called so I called Prasanthi no answer for couple days calls back after couple days says she was sick understandable. Asked her the designer never called so she's like let me remind him again understandable things happen and you forget. Another week goes by now Prasanthi is not answering communicating via text and her cell phone. Called Plaza itself the store number talked to a guy named Munish he seems to be the owner he said ill have the designer call you right now he did. He said he will have something by the next day at 4 at that time i was fed up i said you can if you want ive been waiting 2 weeks for a design for a wedding band if I don't hear from y'all im take my business else where and sure enough what happen didn't hear from them. My boyfriend Shan posted below and was called rude for yelling at Prasanthi, however, I was muted on the call and he did not yell at her. He had contacted the store during business hours and spoke to Munish and after speaking with him she called us back. And that is when Prasanthi and my boyfriend spoke. And an email from Prasanthi was sent to me tell me again the designer was out sick. That happened at least every time I spoke with her. We understand that people get sick, however, when you promise someone a deadline, I would assume you would meet that deadline. I spoke to their custom design jeweler on Thursday, which I mind you was only because of our intense conversation with Prasanthi and Munish the night before, and he said he would have my design ready by 4 pm latest that day. It was 6:00pm and I get a call from the designer with another excuse that my design is so intricate that he was not able to finish and he will stay late and work on my design so I can have it first thing Friday morning. Okay thats fine, I understood my design was intricate so I told their designer it is fine, I will wait till Friday morning. Then Friday rolls in and half the day has gone. I still haven't heard from their designer or Prasanthi. So I again called myself to Prasanthi on her cell phone and she did not answer, so I called the store, someone answered and I asked to speak with Prasanthi, they said she is with a customer, thats fine, I understand that as well, so I left a message with the person who answered my call and I asked them to have her call me ASAP and it is important. Friday ended as well, with no return call. By then I was done with them and their excuses, so I was not interested in her calling me back Saturday. I have initially went to their store before Thanksgiving, and we were impressed by Prasanthi's customer service, I told her I had my own design in mind and she said no problem we can design it for you. And I even told her that I live in Dallas and my boyfriend lives in Houston, but majority of your dealings will be with me, so will I have an easy time communicating with you and being able to get this design done, of course she said no problem, we are good with communicating and getting this done. So we were happy to hear that. I come back to Dallas after Thanksgiving and kept in touch with her cause we were interested. She was good with responding and helping in the beginning, then started slacking. Every time I called, her designer was either out sick or out for lunch. So after these excuses for about 2 weeks, I got tired and kept telling my boyfriend to lets take our business elsewhere, but he was adamant and wanted to go with Plaza Jewelers because he learned so much from them with our visit to the store. So I tried to keep in touch and get the design made, but again and again it was one excuse after another. Finally he got tired of it too. We clearly asked them if you are not able to take this on, please tell us right now so we can go elsewhere, but they were like we will get it done for you, but of course that did not happen. At this point I will definitely be taking my business somewhere else, someone who will actually be able to design my ring without excuses and have it ready for us when we need it. PLEASE TAKE YOUR BUSINESS SOMEWHERE ELSE WHERE YOU ARE APPRECIATED AND NOT JERKED AROUND. WITH PLAZA JEWELERS ALL YOU WILL GET ARE EXCUSES. read more
