First timer with any kind of waxing and I will definitely be a returning client. Sarah and Vanessa are amazing. From my first phone call a few weeks ago where I was made to already feel so comfortable and have all of my "first timer" questions answered, to going in today and being greeted by the same warmth and comfort. Vanessa makes sure you're comfortable, keeps conversation going which is a much needed distraction, and does an amazing job quickly. She was flexible with where I wanted to go with the wax and I ended up going much further than I anticipated solely because of how pleasant she was making a pretty sensitive and unpleasant experience. I can't compare sugar wax to typical wax, but if it would've felt anything like getting my eyebrows waxed (typically) I would choose sugar every single time. The pain subsides so quickly and before I left the room I felt great (physically). I topped off the waxing with a jelly mask which was incredibly soothing. I found Sugar Pop on Yelp when I was looking for a new place to have my eyebrows done while I was letting my eyebrows grow out and today I was off and in the area I gave them a last minute call and asked them if they had time for a walk in and the very nice lady at the front desk said yes! I was able to get an appointment with Beth she was amazing and asked me what I was theming to achieve with my brows and should me what shd could do for me today to help me achieve that and talked to me about the difference and benefits between regular waxing sugar waxing which was greatly appreciated. I decided to go with the sugar waxing and I also wanted to get them tinted today which I have done in the past but Beth had an appointment after which I totally understand since I was a walk in but the women at the front desk let me know that Vanessa another Sugaristas their had just started her shift and was able to accommodate me and do my custom eyebrow tint today which I greatly appreciated. I've been coming to Sugar Pop for a while and this review is long overdue! The entire space is very clean (the #1 thing I look for in all salons, but especially waxing!) and, beyond that, clearly well cared for. They pay attention to every detail, from the premium quality products to the carefully selected scents chosen for the air diffusers that give each room a lovely, lightly scented warmth. The services are all reasonably priced, and I really appreciate the transparency of a no-tipping salon - meaning that the price of each service includes tip, so you don't need to do any math at the end and you know your girl is getting fairly paid (this took some getting used to at first for me but I'm now fully on board). I also recently started getting the lash lift service, and as a fair skinned girl with blonde lashes, let me tell you this is a GAME CHANGER. I never knew my eyelashes could look this good, even weeks after the initial service! It's a bit long to have the service done (I think around 2 hours) but lasts for weeks and the results are well worth it.
