WTF????????? first brazilian wax and i was so nervous and scared and was not looking forward to it at all It was honestly the best experience. this might sound crazy....but... it literally did not hurt at all??? I definitely thought i was gonna get the wind knocked out of me and def thought i was gonna barf or have to take a breather and start writing my will but it didn't even hurt??? im a little taken back. not even trying to exaggerate. Like all the locations every one is extremely friendly and great at what they do. They take the time to explain the process and answer any questions you might have. Meter parking only but they have night appointments where parking is free and a breeze. Tips - no makeup, bring a hairtie, don't have on white nail polish, exfoliate and DONT moisturize before and don't have any make up and have sheets on the bed you don't care about. Oh and slip on shoes and loose dark clothing. Otherwise, it's exceptionally timely and precise. What a delight. read more

I am not a fan of doing much of anything to my body (eyebrow threading, getting my nails done, etc) but whenever I go on vacation, I go all out. Getting sugared is sooo convenient because your hair literally grows back thinner and it stays COMPLETELY away for about 3 weeks. When it does return, it comes back thinner! I'm not going to lie, it hurts like a mother and I've thought about whether child birth hurts this badly. I've also clung onto bed as tight as I could to ensure I didn't wack the girl's hand. All in all, it's worth it and the workers talk you through everything. Parking is in the back and it's free for 1.5 hours with validation. Take advantage of the bogo deal for first timers! I'm not a girl who needs all the bells and whistles. No amount of candles and incense is going to relax me when getting hair yanked from down there. I usually search for the best mix of sanitary/value. So I don't really want to be paying $50+ every month for something that I and my S/O only see. I don't even pay that much for a manicure! I walked past S+B and liked their branding, assumed the place would be one of THOSE places. To my surprise, they offer for first time clients 2 waxes for $50, which makes your first 2 $25 each. But then you can join their monthly club at $39/month which they bill on the 1st of the month. So that's still a pretty good price even with all the bells and whistles. And it reminds you to go every month! At any location for that matter! Oh, service was great, super clean, in and out in 20! read more

The customer service from this company is absolutely appalling!!! I signed up for a monthly membership but was not told that if you cancel you would lose all your accrued tans you paid for. I traveled overseas for months and wasn't using them. I decided to cancel my membership and was told I had to email customer service to do so. I would NEVER have signed up for a membership if I knew I was going to lose all my tans and lose money. I travel so much it's just something I would never have done if I had been informed of this at the beginning. I emailed customer service 4 times with zero responses from anyone. I personally went into the store and was told they would contact me by the end of the day....still nothing and they are still charging my card every month after numerous requests to stop. I have now asked to be reimbursed for the unwanted charges and still no response. Also have informed them I will be seeking legal action if this isn't fixed. Would never recommend this place to sign up for any memberships. And don not give them your credit card details on file!!! read more

I had never ever gotten a wax - much less a sugar - and yesterday was my first time! I chose to come here after reading all the good reviews, and reading up on Sugaring. It's supposed to hurt less than waxing and it's all-natural, so I was interested to try it out. I was able to make a same-day appointment a few hours out and it was no issue. Very clean, welcoming atmosphere to make people comfortable. Friendly and knowledgeable front desk staff as well who knew it was my first time and helped me with my questions and nerves :) Water is also available as you walk in. The rooms are pretty basic - table, clean linen cloth (not tissue paper, which was nice), and adequate privacy. The ONLY thing I wish they had was a pillow on the table to make it more comfy, but they give you a towel to hold on to if you need! (to help through any discomfort) Alyssa was very welcoming and helpful during the process. If you're also a first-timer: I'm not so great with pain, but this was manageable! They apply the wax in the opposite direction of your hair, but remove it with the natural direction, so it hurts less and doesn't abuse your skin/follicle as much. This is the opposite of waxing. It's an interesting sensation - more stinging, rather than direct pain. But it was all over in just about 10 minutes! It was about as I expected (pain-wise) - definitely manageable. They have a great New Customer special, too that I know you can't find anywhere else... The first appointment is $49 (+tip) but then the second appointment is free! I love it.
