I love the express tans at sugar and bronzed. The sprayers are always sweet and professional. Unfortunately the front desk staff is pretty catty and they almost make it seem as though you're interrupting their social time. I still always go back for the tans but would love to feel more welcome and less annoying when I show up for my appointments. Professionalism aside, the tans are great! No frills, but they make you feel welcome and are very efficient and clean. Definitely the best option for sugaring in the area. I've had 3 different experiences getting an airbrush tan at the Santa Monica location, and every time I've been super impressed! Shout-Out to Rachel who helped me yesterday for being so kind, prompt, and professional! She's great! I've only ever done the "Express" version of the tan, but every time it comes out beautiful, and fades naturally instead of being a streaky mess. I went a few weeks ago and had a great experience! The sugaring was much less painful than any wax I have gotten, and I experienced virtually 0 irritation after (VERY different than any wax). First time doing any sort of bikini line treatment. Parking was pretty easy as they have a lot in the back but there's plenty of street parking around the block. The girls at the front were all really nice and got me checked in and settled into a room. The appointment lasted less than 10 minutes and I was able to get started before my actual appointment time, which was great. Nicole was really informative about the whole process and talked to me almost throughout the appointment (as I mainly had questions since it was my first time). Despite my low pain tolerance, this was surprisingly quite painless. Certain areas were a little more sensitive but it's over so fast that it's not a huge deal. I don't understand all the positive reviews. My tan lasted like 5 days and started to separate like I have never seen before. The color was super orangey and looked horrible. I also was not sprayed evenly all over even after I told them to double check me. It was very overpriced for a mediocre product. I definitely will not be going back again. read more

This is my new go-to place. Their formula promises No Oompa Loompa orange and the girls are very professional and take their time in the application to ensure you're not a streaky mess. As someone with a condition that requires me to limit my sun exposure- they keep me looking beautiful all summer long. Highly recommend. I'm not a huge tanning person but will do it for certain occasions. Have had bad results in the past but always good results here. There's some street parking with meters (do not let your meter expire!) some neighborhood 2 hour parking free and a small lot behind Montana Ave side of building. Skilled, helpful staff. Good color. They are always on schedule - I've been many times & never had to wait.
