    A delicious meal :)

Since this was my first time in St. Louis, this was one of the places I wanted to try for barbecue. I was not disappointed. The St. Louis ribs were tender, smoky, and very delicious. Paired with the various BBQ sauces, it was a fantastic meal. The sides were solid as well. Service was great, with super friendly staff and really cool ambiance and vibes. I found the hush puppies to be quite interesting, with the inclusion of pork belly burnt ends. By the real surprise was how good the jalapeño jelly to dip the hush puppies in was! Love the balance of sweet and spicy. Truly the perfect sauce for every meat. Awesome job and will definitely want to come back again! :)

I love coming to spots like this that has a local twang. Such simple southern food that you wouldn't want to pass out on. I got the roast beef and the meat itself was delicious. I could've ate it by itself because it was just on a simple hamburger bun. My fav was the beans, I ate that up so quick. I could've just had a bowl of that and be satisfied haha. Ultimately, I think the sauce selection that they have here is what pulls everything together in a finger licking good way.

Our first visit here, recommended to us from a friend. A nice and clean establishment, it wasn't too loud, with a very friendly staff. After perusing the menu on the wall for a few minutes you walk up to the counter and order. The service was really fast; my wife and I ordered the 4 rib bones with two sides. My sides were the fries and the bbq baked beans, my wife ordered the potato salad and coleslaw as her sides. We took our trays to the register where we ordered an appetizer of pork belly hush puppies with the jalapeño jelly and 2 smoked chocolate chip cookie chip cookies. Each meal came with a drink-we both got the sweet tea. At each table is their selection of sauces-each one of the their own flavor profiles. The food was delicious. It was almost too much for us to eat. Definitely come hungry!! This is definitely a place to check out if you're in the area.

My favorite place to take an out of town visitor for some STL bbq. The casual, cafeteria style makes it easy to order and enjoy. My go-to is always the 6 ounce brisket platter with two sides and a drink. The meat comes "dry", because all their different sauces are available on the table so you can mix and match and try as many as you'd like. The staff is always helpful with ordering and making suggestions. It's no surprise why they are an STL favorite!

The food and service was great! Ambiance was 10/10. It was me and husband's first meal in STL with friends, and we ordered The Meat Daddy so we could try a little bit of everything. It was definitely worth the money! We'll definitely be coming back.

Part of the ribs were tender. The outer ribs, not so much. When I spend money to dine out, I expect something grander than what I am capable of. My ribs are better and they are made in the oven! The baked beans and potato salad were both scrumptious. Both are worth going for. The pecan pie was good, but not " slap your mama " good. The ribs are tasty and they will prevent you from having to cook and wash dishes but they are not amazing.

This review is for the 9200 Olive Blvd Location Typical BBQ atmosphere (see photos) with cafeteria style ordering. The service was quick, friendly and welcoming. And there was some great 80s rock for us boomers (lol). I ordered a 3-meat platter with Ribs, Sausage and Brisket. It came with 2 sides, I chose the baked beans and coleslaw. It doesn't look like it, but the 3 meat platter is a lot of food. Generally everything was good. However, it didn't meet up to the high expectations I had based on recommendations. I found that the meats, although good, lacked much flavor unless you put sauce on them. But there were several to choose from. My favorite item were the Beans. Heavenly. Not too sweet, but had that caramel molasses flavor. Yum. The meat on the Ribs almost fell off the bone. Again good, but not great. Basic flavor, but needed sauce. The same could be said of the Brisket. You get a mix of fatty and lean. I used the Honey Badger and Texas Hot sauce for these. Sausage (jalapeño cheddar) Good, not great. Strong on the cheese. You get a slight spice aftertaste. The flavor was enhanced with St. Louie Sweet sauce (this may be a bit critical, but has a bit over processed texture). Lastly, the Coleslaw is basic, a tad watery, and ok but not much flavor. All in all I'd still recommend for some good BBQ.

The food was DELICIOUS I forgot to take pictures ‍ I had the brisket , potato salad, green beans, and Mac and cheese. Everything was delicious the brisket juicy and tender . The restaurant located downtown StL was clean and inviting. The service was great, kind and friendly folks. Down side was the parking is paid, so bring change for the meters 2 hour limit. Overall grateful me and my sister chose to eat here. Next time I'm in town, I'm coming back here

Definitely not good BBQ spot at all. Came from Chicago and was expecting better since I heard St.Louis had good BBQ. I guess this is more of a BBQ chain restaurant so the quality and flavorful ain't there like other mom and pops joints. As you see, the brisket was super dry. Ribs barely had any meat and were dry as well. No flavor at all. Fries were bland. Only good thing here were the BBQ sauces and the Grape pop/soda. We paid around $40 for 3 meats and definitely don't get that much food as you see in the pictures. Wouldn't recommend it at all.

We were visiting St. Louis from Atlanta last week, and Sugarfire BBQ was the highlight of an already great food experience. The food in Atlanta is very bland but the food has been amazing I'm St. Louis. The BBQ was absolutely incredible--everything was tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. My husband, my son, and I were stuffed for hours, and honestly, we didn't even feel like eating the next day! The portions were generous, the sides were amazing, and the staff was so friendly. St. Louis knows how to do food, and Sugarfire is the perfect example. If you're in town, don't miss this spot--it's worth every bite!

The pork sausage was seasoned well and ground up so that it spread well in every bite. The pepperoncini and bacon filled out the flavor. It was really tasty. I got the Tamno Pivo beer to drink. It was a dark lager. It had a nice strong flavor, but not as strong as an Ale. We'll definitely be back. The staff helpful and patient, and the food came out surprisingly fast. It is a fun location and will be a great place to hang out in the nice weather.

There is no indoor seating so if it's Hot (like it was when we went) be prepared. The rain cooled it off a bit. I highly recommend the Fries with Parm and Lemon Aioli for dipping!!! We ordered the SPB Special pizza. It was a bit spicy for us with all the peppercinis. But we kept trying to think What is Missing?? It's cheese!! There is no mozzarella or pizza cheese!! Just Parm. So if you want your pizza with cheese.... This one is not for you. We would not order this one again but would go back to try something else. The service was friendly and fast!
