Leilani was super friendly and patient with my questions about everything. I usually do not give reviews on yelp but I this is ridiculous. I had an original appointment at 3pm with Leilani in New Year's Eve, so two days prior to appointment the girls call and ask if I can come in earlier that day to help accommodate them. Well long story short I was informed that is I didn't come in earlier that she would have to reschedule me no fee. So whenever they re scheduled me did not work for me. So being that they were closed on New Year's Day I couldn't do 24hr re-schedule notification. So now I have to pay 50% re scheduling fee plus the normal cost. And on top of all of that Leilani who is amazing left and that is why they had to re schedule. I don't think it's fair that the customer has to pay 50% fee for using their service. For sure lost me as a customer of 2 years. read more

I have been going here since the spring and I love it. I have seen multiple girls as my schedule is so all over the place and each one is great. They make you feel very comfortable and always ask your preference about hair lines etc. I love how sanitary sugaring is since they aren't dipping back and forth with sticks. Let's be honest-- ripping hair from the root is not going to be comfortable. HOWEVER, sugaring is by far the least painful and most effective method I've tried. I have been a monthly customer at sugaring la in Carlsbad since moving to the area 4 years ago and before that was going to the location in Santa Monica for years. I went to sugaring LA for the first time and I was nothing short of satisfied with the result. First off I am a male. There is always this misconception that sugaring and waxing is femine but I'll be the first to tell you it's not. I have a widows peak and I have always shaved at it when I got haircuts but after doing it for the past 15 years of my life, the hair grows back in a day and it leaves an obvious 5 o clock shadow. I tried sugaring for the first time at sugaring LA and within 15 minutes my widows peak was gone and hairline was completely straight. Julie did a good job of talking through and explaining the process with me as we were going through it. I am beyond happy with the end result and I will be back time and time again, hopefully not to soon lol. I have a moderate pain tolerance and the pain was nothing.
