We went here last night and I was surprised how busy it was. The sushi was fresh and tasty. The wait staff was pleasant and the food came out promptly. I was disappointed there were not dinner combinations with sushi that were your choice - only chef choices and I have allergies so that is tricky. We will go again! read more

My sisters and I ate dinner here last night. We usually went to Sushi Hiro when we had a sushi craving, but it has sadly closed down, so we were hopeful that the this new sushi spot would fill that void. Service: The service was good as there were multiple people who checked in on us, and our main server was really nice and attentive. But it was odd that our rolls each came out at different times, and by the time the last roll came out, the rest of us had already finished most of our sushi rolls... So that sucked. I also overheard the table next to us inquire about the other rolls they hadnt received yet. The restaurant had several other patrons but it definitely wasnt packed, so I think the timing of rolls is something that calls for improvement. Menu & food: Regarding the menu, it seemed like most of the rolls were california rolls just with added toppings. For example, my sisters ordered the cali roll with baked salmon on top, which they enjoyed. I ordered the cali roll with popcorn shrimp on top. I did not like mine because the shrimp lacked flavor and had very little sauce on top. My other sis ordered the spicy tuna tempura roll with spicy crab in top. She liked the roll, but i did not. (Each roll has a specific name, but i dont remember.) Overall: The restaurant was clean and had very kind staff. I thought the food was mediocre, and a bit pricey, especially for the taste quality. The door had a sign that read "soft opening," so maybe they are still working on things. I'd try it again, after their "soft opening" period is over, in hopes that they've worked out the kinks. read more

I feel like since they changed management the portions have gotten smaller. me and my family used to come here a lot until we noticed that the portions have gotten smaller. After a year we decide to come back because their food does not taste bad It's just that the servings are always inconsistent. My first disappointment was when they serve the chicken skewer and all they serve was like four pieces of chicken And it was burnt. Manager changed it and it was better. My second disappointment what's when we ordered mixed tempura. They gave us itty bitty pieces as if they run out of vegetables. They put it on a large plate. It look like they were feeding us leftovers. I show the manager and I told her that this is not what we usually get for mixed tempura. She said well it's only five pieces then she counted it in front of me as if I couldn't count. I told her it is the size of the pieces that is not worth the price. read more

The service here is terrible, especially for the food to not even be good. I understand that everyone is trying to make their money but you can tell none of the waiters have any idea what they are doing and run around looking absolutely confused. Make sure you don't ask for anything extra because by the time you get it you'll be done with your food. Oh and waiting for check took so long I got hungry again. Very very sad place. Basically no real happy hour menu. Quality of sushi/sashimi is adequate (nothing to get excited over). My biggest problem is the price you pay for the portions, and the dragon lady that owns the place. Quite rude for an owner. I asked to have my sushi in separate containers due to the fact they come with different sauces and not to mention who said that it's not for multiple people? I have heard 2x now her talk down to the waitresses right in front of people. If they are reading this I know they would agree with me. We're trying to support local restaurants and delivery drivers during this pandemic but places like this make it tough. They gave us almost no edamame for $4.50 and shrimp yakisoba noodles with 1 chopped up shrimp for $13.50. It's pretty sad when my 5 year old son asks where the rest of the food is. During that time my waitress only came out 1 time, the rest of the time she was in the back or kitchen or who knows where. First time here. Pleasant interior. Greeted at the door right away and able to choose where you sit. We were were one of two inside. Within an hour the place filled up. Menu and drinks right away. Made our order. Tiger, Philadelphia , Boston and Lobster rolls. All showed up right away. Very good presentation. Ginger and sauces offered. All four were very good. Tip: The Philly and Boston rolls look exactly the same. One has crab and the other cream cheese. We are Tuna time fans. This place is just as good and has its own taste. Food looked old and tasted old and very stale. They should have made everything fresh considering it wasn't busy at all. Tuna should be bright and colorful pink color not pinkish brown tempura batter was stale. Not a good experience and we were really craving some good sushi. Went in on a weekday at noon & my son and I went in for the first time. We were the only ones there so service was prompt & polite. The AYCE is worth the price & the food was good. The chilled sake we usually get at other places was $5 more for a smaller bottle with a lower alcohol percentage. All in all it was fine. Arrived, paid for order only to wait 45 minutes before finding out they gave our order to another customer. Took 10 minutes to get a refund. At least one kitchen worker not wearing a mask. Decided to get something to eat while working I was debating between subway or this and let me tell you I don't regret. I ended up getting the Yakitori bento box comes with tepura witch is delicious, Gyoza and A Fire cracker roll witch is spicy. In all definitely recommend. The food is actually quite delicious--we had the nigiri, sashimi, mussels and the salmon teriyaki. The seafood was pretty fresh and tasty. The wasabi had a good kick to it but they only serve a thumbnail size. The hot tea tasted like real tea--not the teabag kind. The miso soup was tasty and not too salty. My main concern is the cleanliness of the establishment--the floors and the table where we sat were sticky, so eating was a little uncomfortable. This place use to be so good but it's getting progressively worse for some reason ! I've gone for dine in twice and order DoorDash once recently, thinking it would be better than the last but I keep getting disappointed. Some young workers are very kind and some aren't. I was helped by a young lady that checked on us once and didn't show up again. A young man came by asking if we were okay and ready for the check, but I'm pretty sure its just a race for tips here. The young man checked us out, then later the original waitress came by upset with me because she didn't check us out.... she didn't deserve the tip anyways ! She wasn't welcoming at all and just acted like she doesn't want to be there. Which I get, you can't always have good days. But from someone who has been working in Customer service, I know that you should always try to be kind and friendly. The next time I went in was with my family, everyone ordered cooked dishes and I ordered a sushi roll. The rest of my family got their food before me. Time passed and we were wondering where my roll was. They were close to finishing their food when I asked the waitress if mine was done. She acted like I was a huge inconvenience to her life! I eventually got my sushi roll that I always order and it was not good, it almost had no flavor. it was just a bad experience because I was upset that they for got my order, and once I got it it wasn't even good. I'm pretty sure they're soy sauce us 90% water too. I feel like the only nice waitress is a girl named kaylyn I believe. Last week I ordered door dash from here and my sashimi wasn't as fresh looking as typical and was sliced so thin on the top of my roll. They throw the ugly gross fish in the door dash orders so they don't get complaints to their faces. Idk what's going on here but it's not the same ! It just seems like they are being really cheap. Don't know if it's just that everyone is out of the swing of things from covid, but it was just bad. Waitress forgot our appetizer, brought us the wrong food and was argumentative when we told her that she brought us the wrong item.
