    115 Boulevardier
    Rachel L.

Came here for pre-dinner celebration drinks and had an amazing visit! Will definitely be back to try the rest of their cocktail menu. This bar is tastefully decorated with a speakeasy vibe. Our bartender, Jackie, elevated the experience as he was friendly and approachable, throwing in the occasional joke. Unfortunately, one of the cocktails we wanted to try was unavailable that night - he explained that there was an ingredient they weren't happy with and were working on tweaking it to improve the drink. We had the Heart of Normandy (Calvados Boulard, Pear, Apricot, Apple & Ice Wine Foam, Sakura Leaf) which was refreshing and the exact kind of cocktail to my taste. The salted dry leaf complimented the drink well, as strange as that sounds, and really whets your appetite. The 115 Boulevardier (Brown Butter, Chocolate, Banana, Bearface Whisky, Campari, Sweet Vermouth, Banana Chocolate Ganache) smelled heavenly if you're a chocolate lover, and was dark but not too bitter. The banana chocolate ganache was such a treat and was so well crafted, I could eat this as a dessert anytime. The Summer Solstice (21 Ramsbury Gin, Clarified Watermelon, Laphroaig, Sencha, Green Cardamom) smelled of watermelon with the aftertaste of cardamom - this spice added a unique fragrance to it that worked surprisingly well with the rest of the ingredients. Each drink was strong and the presentation was beautiful. We were well taken care of during the entire visit.

Great "hidden" bar for some fun drinks. The inside of the bar is minimalist and there's lots of tables and bar seating for you to come with friends or a date. They have a variety of fun cocktails to try on their menu, and service was very sweet in explaining the menu and different ingredients in their drinks. I got the Old Man as I was very intrigued with their house Hong Kong milk tea blend that was in it, and the drink came with some small cookies to enjoy! Overall, very strong but interesting to try. I would love to come back to try some of their other drinks or even for one of their cocktail-making classes that they offer!

I didn't realize it was a "speakeasy" so when I arrived, there was a code to get in. Don't be dumb like me and think "it's too easy" when you see 4 digits on the wall thankfully staff check the security cam and let me in. They were so friendly and gave me a free shot. They also made my non drinker friend an amazing 0% negroni that tasted like the real thing. This is a good spot for a casual drink with friends or to bring a date - but only if they're super into fancy cocktails lol

Tucked away behind an unassuming door and accessible only with a code, Suite 115 is everything you'd want in a hidden cocktail bar--intimate, stylish, and full of surprises. I went with a friend and we were instantly impressed, not just by the vibe, but by the impeccable service. Jackie, the bartender, truly elevated the experience. He took the time to ask about our preferences and somehow translated my vague likes and dislikes into two gin cocktails that were completely different yet perfectly aligned with what I wanted. His creativity and deep knowledge were on full display--each drink was a masterpiece. Suite 115 is the kind of place that makes you feel like you've stumbled upon a secret gem. I'll definitely be back--and next time, I'm bringing more friends (and making sure Jackie's behind the bar again).

I've been here multiple times times. Genuinely enjoy all the drinks I had here. The speakeasy has a very cool minimalistic interior. Service is very professional. Here are my recommendations for cocktails The Old Man - sweet, clear, strong milk tea taste People who love hk milk tea would appreciate this cocktail Southeast Jungle - very refreshing south East Asian tropical fruity cocktail, taste like a bubble tea cocktail The celery air works surprisingly well with this drink to add Additional depth Heart of Normandy - has this salted edible leaf that changes the cocktail. The food is also very good. Couldn't stop eating bar cashews, shrimp toast and moms dumplings The indo short ribs has a fantastic sauce and texture.

This password coded bar is a perfect addition to your date night! It gives you the feeling of being in a bright and airy space with dim lit ambiance. I indulge in two cocktails and the bar nuts, 10/10 for everything! The nicest bartenders that provide hospitality and recommendations with a great personality.

We stumbled across this bar while we were in the area. This is a new speakeasy from the staff of Suite 114 at Yonge Dundas. You need to enter a code to enter, which is next to the door. The ambiance is really simple and plain, and food options are limited. We tried a few cocktails - Summer Nights at Kolkata was my favourite.

Impeccable. The staff was genuinely kind and attentive without being overbearing. I felt welcomed from the second I walked through the door. I ordered the Avocado Salmon Toast paired with the beautifully pink and perfectly named Pink Flamingo drink. My friend went for the Sweet Berry Waffle and a classic lemonade. Let me just say--the flavors did not disappoint. The salmon was fresh, creamy avocado was piled high, and the toppings were thoughtfully layered. My only tiny critique (and I say this with love): the toast itself was a little too crispy for my liking. It made the dish a bit tricky to cut into, and the texture leaned dry. Next time, I'll definitely ask for it untoasted or lightly toasted. A softer base would really let those flavors shine without the crunch competing. Now let's talk about that Pink Flamingo--WOW. It was tropical, sweet, and honestly gave me vacation-in-a-glass vibes. I almost ordered a second, but adulting (and budgeting) called me back to reality. That said, it's worth every sip! I snuck a few bites from my friend's Sweet Berry waffles, and yep--I'm getting that next time!! Light, fruity, tasty!! I can't wait to come back and try more from the menu. Who knows, maybe next time I'll get to sample a few more dishes Seriously though--support local and give this place a try. You'll leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit.

Must try is the Costa Rican coffee served in a traditional manner. Next must try is their empanadas! Housemade and the dough is phenomenal. Filling we tried was beef.

Every aspect from the sauce to the baguette to the meat was so tasty. I also recommend getting the garlic aoli for the fries. The ambiance of the place is spectacular as well with a cool, library naturally, vibe. The servers were also great and helped accommodate my date who is gluten free, and her baguette replacement was the best that she'd ever had of a gluten free option. Good selection of drinks and great customer service. Fun facts: The Royal York Hotel opened in 1929. It hosted royalty, heads of state, and golden-age Hollywood legends like Cary Grant and Alfred Hitchcock when they were in town filming or staying upstairs in the hotel. Stepping inside is like time-traveling back decades, with velvet seating, brass accents, and dark, moody lighting. As soon as you walk into the Library Bar, the real centerpiece that grabs your attention is the massive oil portrait above the fireplace. That dignified gentleman watching you sip your drink is George Locke, the very first chief librarian of the Toronto Public Library. I love that a librarian is the patron saint of this bar! The drinks here aren't just cocktails; they're chapters in a story. The current menu, titled "Ink & Alchemy," is actually inspired by Michael Ondaatje's famous novel In the Skin of a Lion. Created by their award-winning mixologist James Grant, the menu is a tribute to the people who built this city: the immigrants, bridge-builders, thieves, and dreamers. You aren't just sipping a martini; you're drinking a liquid homage to Toronto's history.

The aesthetic is precise without being cold, and the candle-warm lighting encourages exactly the kind of unhurried conversation that a well-made cocktail deserves. But the bartenders are the true heart of the place. On the evening of my visit, the two behind the bar moved with a remarkable synchrony -- finishing each other's thoughts, trading warmth and wit in equal measure, drawing guests effortlessly into the orbit of their easy rapport. It is the kind of hospitality that cannot be trained into existence; it is either present or it isn't, and here it is very much present.
