5/5 vibes, 5/5 ambiance, 5/5 cocktails A cocktail bar, but what a beauty this place is, with even better cocktails. Once you walk in you're presented with this tunnel that you walk through to get inside. It's a corner unit that doesn't have much signage, so you can easily miss this spot. Interior is beautiful but a little dark for myself, as I couldn't really see the menu properly. I get it though, it's for the vibes which I'm there for ;) Drinks were amazing and really hit the spot: Silver Fizz 5/5 - Delicious and beautiful! it's a ramsbury gin, lillet blanc, sorrel cordial, topped with egg white. It's light, refreshing and creamy at the same time. Would get this again for sure. Espresso Martini 5/5 - Made with mezcal, absinthe, hot cascara cream and caramelized white chocolate with white miso. A great aperitif and so delicious. Truffle Pommes Frites 5/5 - A must get to pair with your cocktails. It's shoestring fries, topped with parm and served with a truffle aioli. Overall, I love this spot so much and can't wait to come back.

Slice of Life in Toronto is rated one of North America's best bars, is an intimate and stylish cocktail bar that provides a "secret" speakeasy-like experience with exquisite cocktails and light nibbles. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it perfect for romantic evenings, special celebrations, casual drinks with friends, or even a solo cocktail experience at the bar! My partner and I visited for some cocktails and light bites. We had the Highball and Margarita for cocktails along with Steak Tartare, Egg + Ikura and Truffle frites. Don't expect a full meal coz this is a cocktail bar. The staff here are very welcoming.

Was very cold with a touch of orange and came with show of a long pour which was fun. They have their own vodka and gin they use. 5 stars - Menu: sweet/dry, light/spirited quadrants mapped out on the front page Also a sketch drawing of the drink so you can see what type of glass you'll get and colorful pictures on the side to set the mood. - Spicy nuts: good yet dusty but bonus for having hazelnuts. 4 stars Midlights: - Can get on waitlist if full and can text you (note: was full even early afternoon on a Saturday) - Wanted to try more food like the beef sandwich or french onion soup but we were in between meals Lowlights: - Took over 30 min to get our first drink after ordering which was odd at a hotel of this caliber. The next ones did not have the same wait time which was good.

Popped in for a beverage after having good times elsewhere and two staff killed that vibe in 10 minutes. In all the decades of my food and beverage experience, this was, by far the most arrogant, self entitled and out right rude service I have ever personally experienced. This is unfortunate for the owners as I heard good things, but after my saucy bartenders myopic, naive and rude insulting communication style, I could not help but feel unwanted and worse actually insulted. 0 score for customer experience. myellf and friends plus area neighbours will not be back unless the rude dude is not front of house staff anymore.

We arrived around 4:15 pm at which time it was fairly barren inside and a 2-piece band (singer/guitarist and pianist) were performing. As there were only 2 musicians and the lady was playing an acoustic guitar, the music wasn't too loud so my friends and I could converse comfortably. My friends and I ordered drinks only and I chose to have 1/2 pint of Spearhead's Hawaiian Style Pale Ale which is one of my favourite beers. It was only $5 (+ tax & tip) which was a good deal. It was quite enjoyable to pop into the venue for a drink and some live entertainment.

Both the indoor and outdoor dinning are advised. Menu has an Asian flair. We had the Tuna Tostadas and the superb Sichuan Lemon Calamari along with Big Plates (mains) Branzino and my favorite the Mushroom Pappardelle. Service is friendly and prices are fair. Margaritas are excellent. You can also rent the tower for private dinning. No view inside but a great space.

We discussed the group sitting at 2 different tables but the hostess said they would sit the two table across the restaraunt from each other. When we inquired about our patio reservation they said thete was no capacity. We looked and the patio had lots of space and inside was msybe 20% full. By this time myself and a couple of friends said we wouldn't bother amd instead sat at a table on the patio and had one drink while waiting for a friend visiting from another country to arrive so we could chat for a bit and leave. The hostess was full of attitude and was unhelpful to our group and rude. A couple of the servers i dealt with were also pretty clueless at their jobs. What should have been a fun time turned into a frustrating mess thanks to the staff at the broadbiew. The hostess had no idea or cared who some of us were amd nor should it matter, however we will being sharing our horrible experience at the broadview with friends, family, coworkers, etc. I will not return to have a hostess give ne attitude and roll eyes. On a nice day it wasn't very busy so maybe others are done with this place and it's staff as well. Do they think they are sone gate keeper to sone special crowd. Your not, your basic.
