What I went in with and what I was left with were two completely different things, and the damage has required significant time, money, and effort to try to correct. What has been even more upsetting is seeing other people come forward with similar concerns about damage to their hair. I brought my concerns to the salon owner, Natalie, hoping she would take the situation seriously and work toward a reasonable resolution. Instead, in my experience, there has been a complete lack of accountability for what happened. I have felt dismissed rather than supported as a paying client whose hair was damaged by a service performed at her salon. I understand that not every service turns out perfectly, but there is a major difference between an imperfect result and significant hair damage. Mistakes can happen--the way a business responds afterward says a lot. I wish Natalie had acknowledged what happened, taken responsibility for the salon's role, and made a genuine effort to resolve the situation. I would strongly encourage anyone considering this salon to do their research, ask detailed questions about the health and integrity of their hair before allowing chemical services, and document their hair before and after their appointment. I would never want another person to experience the damage and frustration I have experienced.

I would even accept 18% / 20% / 22%, but 28% as the middle?! That's crazy.

First they don you with two capes and another item for your neck. Is it cold? They have a closet that warms up your jacket. Second they wash and massage your hair and your back in a massage chair. Next they cut your hair to your liking and walk you through the process - they will tell you what looks good and why. Mia's service is impressive and how she cares about every detail including glass covers so my glasses don't get color on them. In addition to Mia's excellent customer service, I overheard the stylist next to me speaking with her client about her services. I was beyond impressed that this stylist not only recommended the best service, not the most expensive. The client thought they needed extra services but in reality didn't. This stylist could have easily just charged her but she was honest. This shows me in addition to Mia's amazing service that Tangerine employs top notch employees.
