Unfortunately not a great experience. My stylist, Sara was not having a good day. First of all, she was running behind and was surprised to see me for my scheduled appointment. She forgot! Hmmmm....I should have known this was not going to end well. She started to style my hair and after many prior salon visits, she is acutely aware that I blow out my hair so then why did she decide to create spirals on a 50 year old mom? In response to Blondies comment - when the lady called she was not asking for a few minutes she was asking for me to come over an hour later. A few minutes is not 60+ minutes. Someone is not being truthful on your end which that in itself is another problem. Super disappointed in this salon and I didn't even step foot in the door. I had scheduled an appointment early in the week with Tara for later in the week for a full highlight, which I had purchased through Groupon. I get a call the day of my appointment not even 30 minutes prior to my scheduled time stating Tara is running extremely behind and needs me to reschedule. Really? Poor time management and apparently the person that was an add on or was running late was more important than a new customer. Might as well clear your whole day if you want to go here because if you are using a Groupon you will probably get bumped. read more

Great experience! I found this place by just driving by. After years of $10 haircuts, I decided it was time to get a "real" hair treatment. I found the Groupon for conditioning/hair cut/blow dry, and had no trouble setting up my appointment online. When I arrived, I was seen right away without having to wait. My stylist, Michelle, was so nice. She did some fancy conditioning treatment that made my hair feel incredible. I consider my hair low-maintenance, but even without a lot of help from me, she gave me exactly what I wanted. The entire staff was very nice. I really wanted to like this little place and support small business but... I bought the deep conditioner and blow-dry Groupon and made an appointment with Vanessa Lawless. I just had surgery so I really just needed a wash and blow dry. Here's how it went: -I was 6 minutes late but ended up waiting 20 minutes before she saw me. This is fine, I understand salons get behind. -To me, deep conditioning is a treatment that is left on your hair for 30 or so minutes. There was no "deep condition". She just washed and conditioned my hair. -Then she started blowdrying. I have never had such a terrible blow-dry. Not only did she rip and burn my hair with the brush and straightener, but she smacked my head a good three times with the blowdryer. It turned out looking worse, with more split ends, then it did when I came in. I would like to assume my experience went this way because she was booked solid and very behind. She was a very sweet person! Unfortunately, I would not recommend going to this stylist and next time, will just go to my usual stylist and avoid the Groupon disappointment. read more

I bought a Groupon for a deep conditioning treatment with haircut and blow dry. I went to the salons website and set an appointment with Rebecca for that same weekend. It was nice to not have to wait a long time for the day of my appointment. If I want something done to my hair, I'm usually anxious to get it done right away so the fact that they have a lot of availability is great. Today I arrived at the salon and she was finishing up with someone else so I didn't wait very long. The salon is very cozy and kept up really nicely. When it was my turn, I told her what I wanted and she got to work. I had previously bought a Groupon a little over a month ago for someone else when I got my highlights and that was also supposed to have a deep conditioning treatment as well but she really didn't. Rebecca, however, was very thorough. It felt like she was massaging my scalp! I wanted to fall asleep; it was so relaxing! She finished and then cut my hair. When it came to the blow dry, she did an amazing job! The girl I went to previously wasn't up to par. My hair felt coarse and like it was damaged. With Rebecca, my hair came out smooth and looking healthy as ever! I moved up here from So. Cal. two years ago and I have been looking for a stylist and I feel like I finally found her! My hair came out perfect, better than I had imagined it! I was so happy I couldn't help but give her a hug lol. I wanna re-do my highlights in the future when I save up the money. The previous girl did good on my highlights but now that I've found Rebecca, I feel like they can be better. I'll pay full price for someone as good as her! I first scheduled a consult with her to see what my options would be on my color challenged hair, she was a professional with a wealth of experience as she talked me through what corrections needed to be done and how to achieve the look I was wanting with my current hair condition (and what to expect) Thank goodness she was able to get me in as soon as she did and the results were beautiful. Came for a hair cut and blow dry, had a great experience with my stylist, Tierra. She listened and was able to give me a layered cut and touch up my bangs. The trouble with most salons is that whenever I ask for wavy hair it almost always ends up looking super curled. She was very accommodating and was adjusting as needed though it still looked too curly for me. I just didn't have the time to sit there and keep correcting it so I left it as is. She is such a breathe of fresh air who happens to be very knowledgeable in color, cut, & healthy hair. I have never had anyone explain to me about how color works the way she did today, she really took the time to study my hair and come up with the best color to suit me and satisfy what I wanted to achieve,while educating me on how to properly care for my hair.
