This is with out a doubt the best value in Men's suiting currently on the market. I have been totally converted from Zegna and Ralph Lauren Black Label to Suit Supply for 3 basic reasons. 1) Incredibly Knowledgeable and Patient Staff - Suit Supply prides itself on making sure its staff has an encyclopedic body of knowledge when it comes to men's suiting, whether it be the history and evolution of the tie, or the reason for double vents, they know it and are excited to share with you. 2) Quality and Selection of Fabrics - Suit Supply has fabrics from all the major italian mills that supply Zegna, Ralph Lauren (black and purple label), Brioni, Kiton, Boss, Canali, etc. They also have a wide selection of fabrics and blends at various price points so you can literally "tailor" your purchase to the climate and prevailing weather of your residence (e.g. I live in the south so I like a light wool or wool/silk/linen blend for spring and summer) And that's not even mentioning the MTM department which gives wide selection a new meaning. (Note: I spent 2 1/2 hours picking the style, construction, and fabrics in my suit and the mtm specialist took the time to painstakingly walk through every minute detail of the process) 3) Tailoring, Tailoring, Tailoring - they have with out a doubt the BEST TAILORS you can find period bar none. I take even my non Suit Supply shirts and suits to them to be fixed. Like most men we tend to collect a vast assortment of dress shirts in our lives and I can tell you that virtually none fit like they should (usually excess fabric in the body, lower back, under arms, etc.) All Suit Supply's have at least one Master Tailor who goes through the traditional years of apprenticeship before becoming a master. But most stores have several. Not only are their tailors incredible, they're sales reps and managers are also trained extensively in how to pin and tailor cloths. Suit Supply takes pride in claiming that even their C-suit receives training on aesthetics and proportions, tailoring, pinning, etc. In summation this place is awesome. Incredible prices, knowledgeable staff, wide selection and differing prices, and the best tailors you can find. Is it going to be the best suit in the world? No. But its pretty damn good and you'd be spending thousands more trying to get something better only to have no one notice the difference in the end. I recently bought a suit there and unfortunately had a rip on my pants during the first day of wearing the pants (YIKESSSSSS). Luckily KJ was there to console me and assist me in such a fantastic way that he instantly turned my day around. I had a wonderful experience when I went to purchase the suit. The sales staff was friendly and attentive, and the gentleman anticipated my needs beautifully. I am happy with the products purchased. This is the only reason I am not giving a 1-star review. The problem is with the service after. I wanted to have my suit pressed, and I thought I could do so at the store where I purchased it. I had a short window of time in which I could both drop the suit off and pick it up, and I wanted to know how long the process took. I called on a Tuesday afternoon, no response at the store after 5 minutes. I called on a Tuesday evening and waited more than 5 minutes, getting my call routed to a central response office. The person was confused, but he tried to give me an answer and route me to the store. After waiting 5 minutes again, I hung up. I called Wednesday morning, and the store picked up. The person was helpful, although again seemed confused. He said it could take anywhere from 1-2 hours to several business days, depending on what the tailors had to do. Now I was confused, but I was heartened by the "1-2 hours." I took my suit into the store that afternoon, and the first thing I am asked is "has the suit been dry-cleaned". I said no, thanked the rep, and left feeing angry and frustrated. Never once did any of the people I had spoken with in the previous 24 hours, when I was even able to reach a rep, make it clear that the suit had to be dry-cleaned. I am neither in the habit of sullying my suits nor exposing them to a frequent chemical bath. But had a single person at the store where I spent over $1,000 on products given me a coherent answer explaining that requirement, I wouldn't have wasted my time and been able to act appropriately. I am extremely disappointed at how a company touting itself as so high-end could have such poor service, and I will not spend money there going forward. read more

I put on my suit to go to a 5pm wedding at around 4:10 only to realize that the suit was about 6 sizes too large. The dry cleaners must have given me the wrong suit last time I got it cleaned and I didn't notice until 10 minutes before I was supposed to leave for a wedding. So I ran into Suitsupply, and told them I needed an emergency suit for a wedding as fast as possible. They grabbed me a good suit that fit well, hemmed the pants for me, retied my poorly done tie, and got me out of there in like 20 mins total. Made it to the wedding only 15 mins late. 10/10 would recommend for people like me who clearly don't have their life together read more

Having a suit that fits properly and makes you feel good is priceless! Can't find another place in the DC tri-state area that has the quality these suits have. The associates are very knowledgeable and helpful. Have been here several times, purchased many suits, great experience every time. Everyone is laid back, no one rushing you, but completely committed to providing excellent service. Tailoring is not included in the price, but when they do tailor, fits perfectly. DC is finally catching up to major metropolitan cities and Europe when it comes to the quality and fit of men's suits!! So long to the large, boxy cut, one-fit-all type of suit. Oh, the male characters from the tv show "suits" provides a good visual of how well these suits look and fit. Very European style, so the suits are cut tight/small. Last Saturday, I stopped by this location without setting an appointment and was quickly assisted by David Wallman, a sales professional (per the business card he gave me). I was looking for a basic charcoal suit; David took me right to them without delay, picking out the style that best fit me (Napoli) without taking any measurements. I tossed the jacket on and, aside from the sleeve length, the jacket fit me as if it had already been tailored. FYI, I'm 6'2" and have a mildly athletic build - the Napoli was spot on for me. I was thoroughly impressed with David's ability to size me up at a moment's notice. He even knew my neck size - to the half inch - and effortlessly seemed to understand my style. The guy was personable, knowledgeable, fashionable, pleasant, and unobtrusive. Never pushed too strongly for a more expensive product. A real professional! Dude deserves a raise. As for the store itself, it's mostly well laid-out, aside from an odd show room to the back left that seems out of place. Both moody and modern, the store fits in perfectly with the quasi-modern interior architecture style you find around Georgetown these days. And every employee seemed very pleasant - and impeccably dressed. Yet nobody was snooty, and numerous employees offered assistance whenever David walked away for a second. So that was my experience when I visited last Saturday; I concluded the visit by leaving the suit for alterations (hemming the pants, which already almost fit perfectly, and bringing out the jacket sleeves). Today, I returned to pick up the suit. I was greeted by a cashier and was handed off to a sales representative girl on the floor, who prepared a fitting room for me. I tried the suit on and stepped out of the room to take a look in the mirror, while the girl who had briefly helped me was nowhere to be found. But, satisfied with the fit, I changed back into the clothes in which I arrived and walked back out to the main floor. This time, the girl was right next to the fitting area's entrance. She was helping a customer select a tie, but looked over at me and made eye contact. However, she didn't acknowledge me, and continued to help the other customer as I stood there for several seconds. I was taken a bit aback, but eventually found somebody to help me check out. A bit odd. I had read the mixed Yelp reviews for this store and can now understand why this place doesn't have a higher rating. It's hit-or-miss, unfortunately, in terms of customer service. When I went in today, there were tons of sales people on the floor, seemingly ready to help; this place is by no means constantly understaffed nor did I ever feel rushed as other reviewers have mentioned. Try stopping by outside of peak hours. Regardless, the suits are top notch and I plan to return. Btw, great selection of ties! read more

Some really great suits at decent prices and great tailoring. Some of my best suits that always get compliments. Have ordered online and gotten alterations done in-store too, which is very easy. Very nice shoes as well. All in all, the quality is great compared to far pricier gear from other designers. And now has an outlet online. I had interviews for medical schools and needed a suit. Since there arent any good suit stores where I am from, I went to this Suit Supply in DC when I happened to be in DC on a short trip. Jason helped me out, he was really kind and helpful. I needed the suits shipped to my hometown, and, although he advised me against it since tailoring usually needs a visit after the finished product, he was flexible and agreed to ship us the suits. Turns out he was right about his warning, as the measurements needed more adjusting, and there were a few flaws on the suit I received. I had an interview in a week, so I was panicking a bit. The managers involved with customer service for this store, Kate and Joyce, deserve special recognition for the personal attention and kindness they showed me. Not only did they pay to ship the suit back, but they sent me a personally written letter apologizing for the measurements/errors and immediately shipped me a new suit. The shoes they had sent me also had a mark, so they shipped a new pair immediately, and followed up with a phone call apologizing once again and even asking me about my interviews and wishing me good luck. This was tremendous customer service, I have never experienced such quick feedback and delivery and such sincere customer support. Kate, Joyce, Jason are all terrific, they represent the store and their company well. I got a lot of compliments on my final suit, my interviews went great, and I was totally satisfied. I dropped by suit supply today for a new suit and some ties. Michael was a really great salesman and helped me with all my needs. Something I really appreciated was the wide variety of suits, well educated sales team, and the respect with which they explain the ins and outs of suit fashion to someone that wears suits rather than sells them. I had an awesome experience today at suitsupply in Georgetown. Adam greeted me within a few minutes of entering the store, and although it was a fairly busy day, I was in and out of the store with two great looking suits within 30 minutes. Best part: I didn't feel poor afterwards. Mostly, I was impressed by the quality and European look of their suits, and the fact that Adam never felt the need to "up sell" me like other suit salesmen do at other retailers. I'm really surprised at the negative comments regarding suit supply in Georgetown. The store does seem to get really busy on weekends however, I received great customer service and I love the suit that was presented off the rack. I was in suit supply this pass Saturday afternoon and the store was extremely busy. To the point where I was prepared to leave when a gentlemen by the name of Dosy (I think that's how you spell his name) came over and instantly turned my experience around. He was helpful and polite and in the end, I grabbed a Sienna Navy suit and already have plans to buy more. Always heard good things about the store and I can now testify from experience. I have been using Suit Supply for over a year now. I was introduced during the initial start of COVID last year to Adam Berlanga. Adam has been a great designer with an outstanding attention to detail. His customer service skills are impeccable and he is always accommodating. To say that Adam is conscientious seems to be an understatement. Because of him, I have ordered two suits, that gets me well complemented and loved by my wife, one suit that I will be paying for on Friday, and I have already alerted him that I have at least three more suits to buy. Although I have never met him personally, it feels like I know him. Whenever I need a new suit, my family always ask me to check Suit Supply and call Adam first. Although I wish that you can make your custom coats in my size, for my suiting needs, Adam Berlanga from Suit Supply will always be designer. Finally, he is simply the best. I have to say Suit Supply has great suiting options and fabric but atrocious customer service. This review is for both the Tysons Galleria and Washington DC locations. I went to the Tysons location back in December to purchase two off the rack suits with alterations. When I received the suits they looked like nothing was done to them at all. This is was not due to the tailor but the workers actually taking the measurements. I decided to take the suits back in to the DC location and actually got some assistance from Amber who was very nice and knowledgeable. She fixed the botched job that was done to my suits at the Tysons location and that's the only reason why I didn't write a bad review back then. Anyway, I was interested in ordering a few custom suits and called the DC location to ask to speak to Amber so I can make an appointment. The lady who answered was absurdly rude and abruptly said Amber is not working today. I asked when next will she be in and she sharply replied "I don't know her schedule sir!". How unprofessional!!! Anyway, Suit Supply just lost thousands of dollars of my business as I will be going to Trunk Club to order my custom suits. At least they have good customer service... read more

I asked some friends for a better place to get a suit and decided to try them out.; I'm fed up with suits that are so boxy they look like fabric coffins. Decided to try them out. Suits are very nice nothing like the typical American giant shoulder pad boxes. They have modern fitted style. Amazing service experience, one on one, no rush; it's what you would expect if you were paying 3x . Attention to detail was impressive, when Sundar measured for my alterations, he noted my left arm was a half a centimeter longer. I knew that but after 18 years of buying suits it was the first time a tailor actually noticed. I went back this week and bought another suit. Go here and you will not be disappointed. read more

I purchased a suit and a number of other accessories here and had an overall positive experience. However, when I tried to have a custom suit made I had an awful experience. I came into the store MULTIPLE days in a row only to be told the one person who handled this wasn't working. I wish I only worked a few days a week. Maybe it was his vacation, that's fine, I'll just be sure to call ahead. I call the following day and am told he is with a customer. So I leave a message. Hours later no response. I call again later in the day to make sure he got my message. This is confirmed and I'm told I will be receiving a call. That was a month ago and I have never received a call. During this episode I sent him emails just TRYING TO GIVE THEM MY MONEY but I received no response. The suit would have cost around $1,000. If you are getting something off the rack this place is fine but if you want a custom suit you should go elsewhere because, like a number of folks have mentioned, the customer service is truly terrible. There are plenty of places that will treat you the way you should be when making a relatively large purchase like a suit but Suit Supply Georgetown isn't one of them I'm sad to say. read more

4.5 stars Despite being very busy when I came in, the associate made every effort to be sure I was satisfied. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive, and did not try to upsell me at all. Walked me through every aspect of the suit, from the fabric to the fit, explaining the differences between all the fits. I tried on two suits, and ended up having to order one that they didn't have in stock. The sales guy offered my girlfriend and me water/coffee while I was trying them on, and asked questions about my preferences. I also purchased a belt and some socks. The belts are neat because they are very easily adjustable in the store, and that is a free service. The suit arrived the next day(!) with even less tailoring required than expected. I'm looking forward to trying it on again next week. Really my only complaint, and this is a small one, is that the sales guy didn't make any effort to talk to my girlfriend while I was shopping. Surprising, since it's usually the ladies who make the decisions in this type of purchase. read more

I usually don't write reviews but I really felt compelled to write a review on my most recent shopping experience at Suit supply. My husband and I were in Georgetown last Sunday and we decided to stop at suit supply to check it out. Neither of us had heard of the brand before. We really didn't have any intention on purchasing anything since we were just killing time waiting for a dinner reservation. A charming man named Ben greeted us with a lot of enthusiasm. It took me by surprise because never before had I been in a clothing store where the workers were so energetic and filled with so much passion. Ben really made it fun for me and my husband; he was very knowledgeable, charismatic, and took charge of the entire experience. Somehow he got my husband to try on some of the suits and before we knew it we were purchasing two suits and a tuxedo for future black tie engagements. $799 for a slim fit tuxedo, shirt, studs, bow-tie, AND shoes! I had never seen a tuxedo package deal like this before. I wish we had known about suit supply prior to our wedding. I don't know too much about men's suits but what I do know is that suit supply offers quality at a very low cost. One aspect from our wedding that I remember was the long and painful process it was finding a tuxedo for my husband since we didn't want to rent. Every place we went to had slow service, out-dated styles, elderly associates that weren't in touch with fashion, etc. Our first suit supply experience with Ben was the exact opposite, it was fast but efficient, the environment was very upbeat and energetic, the suits were a lot more fashionable, and the knowledge that the associates there have is quite impressive. I believe Ben said he had only been working there for a few months, which was quite shocking. My husband was so happy by the whole experience he will most definitely be back and has been converted into a suit supply shopper. i called suit supply today, looking for a hard-to-find jacket size. i was told that they don't usually carry my size, a 36 short, but they could tailor a larger size to fit me or even make a custom jacket to fit my exact measurements. i was advised to come on in, get measured and see what they have in stock. so i did. when i got there it was a virtually empty store with about 5 sales associates fumbling about, folding shirts and organizing displays. no one asked me if i needed help. finally i approached someone and asked for help. as it turns out, it was the manager... let me reiterate. the manager of the store didn't even acknowledge me. i walked around for nearly 10 minutes clearly in need of assistance, and yet, i was ignored. as i spoke with him and told him what i was looking for he seemed disinterested and aloof. finally he said, "well, we don't carry your size but if you come back when the tailor is here we can measure you for a custom jacket." at that point i told him that i had already spoken with someone on the phone who told me to come in today and get measured. he looked at me like i was speaking a foreign language. i repeated myself and he said "i don't know what you want me to do, the tailor isn't here today." i asked why - when i called a few hours earlier - was i told otherwise. he didn't have an answer nor did he appear apologetic or offer me any kind of consolation. the final verdict: deplorable customer service. i will never go back here. read more

My husband needed a suit for our son's upcoming wedding. After trying six different stores in DC/Maryland, we went to the Georgetown Suitsupply this afternoon. We worked with Store Manager Ben Stith, who was absolutely fantastic. He walked us through style options, did measurements, listened to our preferences, and guided us every step of the way. About an hour later we had found the perfect suit, shirt, and shoes. It was just about the best retail experience I've ever had: an education, a lot of choices, and a great outcome.
