    Caramel macchiato

The best place to study/do work! Not too loud and there are lots of tables! It does lack charger spots though. Coffee is ok, my caramel macchiato was wayy too sweet unfortunately. Great selection of pastries and some food-- great since outside food and drinks are not allowed.

This was my first time here the other day after passing by it many times, finally decided to give it a try & im so glad i did! It's very spacious inside & there is even a separate private room available for meetings or whatever. The menu is very big with a variety of coffees & teas along with pastries & even breakfast sandwiches & desserts. Also available for purchase are sooo many different mugs & teas & water cups & even books! The staff were not the friendliest but they also weren't mean or anything, more just like blah. Regardless, my mocha was excellent & i would definitely come here again.

Ordered the Chai Frappe and it was quite sweet.. almost tasted like syrup. The service was fast though so that was a plus. I most likely will not get the Chai Frappe next time I come to visit; I will get a different one next time

This is such a spacious café and they have cool decor and coffee mugs you can buy. Love the menu has lots of options and there are so many baked fresh pastries! Good customer service and my order was ready fast. The prices are really good too! I was surprised on how cheap my order came up to. The piña colada smoothie was really good. Perfect place to stop by in the morning for some good drinks and pasties.

Mocha frappe- make sure tell them no ice chunks!

Low review due to barrista! Ihave been a regular customer for more than 10 yrs. I usually get my cinnamon latte but today since its warm, ordered a mocha frappe (which I have had in the past), today 8/10 at the bottom of my drink chunks of ice, this shows the barrista doesn't care. Very disappointed

    Matcha Oatmilk Latte

Stopped by Suju's Coffee while visiting for the weekend, and I can see why it's so highly rated. We tried the Peruvian coffee, Caramel macchiato, and Matcha with oat milk--all super tasty and perfect for the gloomy weather. I also loved that they sell bags of their coffee beans and have cool mugs and tumblers. Prices were really reasonable too! The only thing I'd suggest is taking names for orders since it gets pretty loud inside, and it was hard to hear when drinks were ready. But overall, such a great spot--I'd definitely come back!

    Matcha too sweet

Terrible service waited over twenty minutes and had to ask about my order. It turned out she placed the order incorrectly and accused me of not ordering matcha but instead a latte and then before they would redo the order she had to make sure the price was the same. Which clearly it was on the menu board. She refused to turn around and look at the price but insisted on checking on the computer. Matcha was okay overly sweetened and wasn't given an option for how sweet. Regardless the service was terrible, coffee was mid, and there a weird conference room...

Ordered the iced chai with oatmilk. Solid chai. The weekends it can get pretty packed. Like to look at all the mugs. Next time I want to try a pastry.

Ask the Community - Suju's Coffee & Tea

    Are dogs allowed?

Not if I can help it unless they are service dogs

Is this location open til midnight or is it still 8pm? Does anyone know if this location will go back to closing at midnight?

It is only open until 8pm. No plans to stay open until midnight anytime soon.

I noticed now it says sit in dining. Does anyone know if there's a limit to how long you can stay for sit in? I've been waiting for sujus to allow sit in dining so I could be more productive studying because studying at home is not working for me.

I don't think they have a time limit, I do know that you must order from them and cannot bring in outside food from somewhere else.

    Is indoor seating allowed already?

No, they have some tables outside.

Does Suju's have any breakfast type sandwiches?

Yes. You can get it on a croissant, bagel, toast or an English muffin. You can get just egg or add the usual sausage, bacon or ham with cheese. Add sandwich toppings, but it's a little extra

Can Someone please recommend a good iced coffee here?

The iced white mocha is my personal favorite!!

Do you sell a variety of loose leaf teas?

They do. I think the smallest batch you can buy is 0.25 lb and the teas are different prices

The parking lot is small and hard to get into but there is street parking. Review is for their breakfast, I love how they are open at 7am, it's perfect for early risers like our family. The remodeled bank is really nice and there are fun areas on both stories to explore. The windows and old bank architecture are particularly nice and you get really nice lighting throughout the day. Will be back to try their pizza based on how good the breakfast was. Breakfast Burrito: Probably the best we've had in our area. This is our taste but we don't like them too big. Avocado, eggs, sausage, and potato wrapped in a thin tortilla. The salsa this came with was excellent. My wife and I actually split this and it was perfect portions for us. Coffee: Cappuccino and Halo Beriti Pour over. You can see their timers and equipment so you know you are in for a nice cup of coffee. The only ding here is I actually asked for a flat white and the person working that day said it was the same thing as a cappucino. The cappucino was so good I was fine but I do like more coffee taste than milk which is why I asked for a flat white. Pancakes: Very well made with apple and whip cream topping, the kids ate way more of this than we thought they would. Yogurt: With granola, blood oranges, and pomegranate. We finished the whole thing, it was a very interesting blend of toppings that paired well with the drizzled yogurt.

If you know, you know. The pastries here are absolutely worth the detour--and honestly, wherever I see a Paris Baguette, I do pull over. That includes locations I've visited in Northern California, North Brunswick, New Jersey, Atlanta, Georgia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and even the one here in Charlotte down in Pineville. It's a bit of a drive for me, but when I'm in that area, I always make a point to stop in and pick up a couple of their delicious croissant-donut pastries and marzipan or almond croissants. That's the beauty of this bakery--it's a chain, yes, but the consistency is what keeps me coming back. I have yet to be disappointed. Of course, I had to stop at this Hilton Head location--and I didn't come empty-handed. Food connects people, and bringing pastries to your host is always a winning move. I picked up three different varieties of their famous croissant-donut style pastries (similar to the well-known cronut): * Chocolate * Tiramisu * Mango And I added two large almond croissants that were beautifully filled, flaky, and indulgent. Everything looked fresh, full, and irresistible. The setup inside is easy and efficient. It's self-serve: you grab a tray, line it with parchment, use the tongs, and select whatever catches your eye--from baguettes to cakes to coffee drinks. Checkout was quick, Apple Pay was accepted, and the whole experience felt smooth and well organized. The space was clean, friendly, and inviting, with plenty of outdoor seating. Bottom line: Whenever you see a Paris Baguette on your radar, pull over. It's dependable, delicious, and perfect for picking up pastries to share--or to treat yourself. For me, it's one of those rare places that delivers the same quality every single time, no matter the city--and that kind of consistency is something I truly appreciate as a traveler and lifelong foodie.

My recommendation is to order your drinks less sweet. It's the perfect level of sweetness. The only tweak I'd make is adding an extra shot of espresso to the coconut coffee. The food, unfortunately, didn't live up to the drinks. I tried a few of the bánh mì sandwiches, and the bread-to-filling ratio was way off. There just wasn't enough filling, and even after ordering extra veggies, it didn't seem like there were actually any extra added. If you're specifically craving a Vietnamese sandwich, I'd recommend driving about a mile up the road to Huong Sandwiches instead. That said, I still want to come back and try more of their food menu because the drinks alone keep bringing me back. The café itself is adorable. I love the modern design and all the greenery throughout the space. It's clean, quiet enough to study or work, and has about 7 small tables, making it ideal for solo visits or small groups of up to four people. I also appreciated the powerful hand dryer in the restroom (it's the little things!) and plenty of parking. Come for the drinks, stay for the atmosphere.

The cardamom and cinnamon make it feel warm, cozy, and layered without punching you in the face with sugar. Nothing tastes artificial here. Everything feels intentional and made with care. Also, whether you dine in or take it to-go, the drinks always look cute. I LOVE the dine-in presentation though. The iced drinks come in clear glass cups so you can see all the layers, and the hot drinks come in these thick ceramic mugs that make the experience feel extra cozy. And I'm such a sucker for their tray setup too--everything matches the aesthetic so well and makes coffee dates here feel extra special. And don't even get me started on the milk cakes because they are dangerously good. My fave is the Biscoff milk cake. It's super soft, creamy, rich, and has the perfect caramelized cookie flavor without being too sweet. It paired sooo well with the warm spices in the coffee. _______________________________________________________ --- S E R V I C E --- Each barista I ever had was kind and super chill. I never felt rushed and they took their time answering questions. It sounds pretty simple but I feel like even with how busy it can get, they pace themselves accordingly behind the counter so that they are intentional and patient with their customers, and work in a consistent pace that gets drinks done in time and hands them off with care. Very contrast to a cafe where baristas are working so fast-paced that their interactions are short and it feels like that they just want to get the drink over with and passed off to the customer. It all goes back to Qamaria's baristas being intentional with the way that they work. Keep doin' your thing y'all. Love the flow. _______________________________________________________ --- A M B I A N C E -- It's funny because the first time my husband and I pulled up was after dinner on a Friday night. He was feenin' for coffee and was like, "What's even open this late?" Yoooo, finding out Qamaria Yemeni Coffee was open until 1 AM on Fridays and Saturdays instantly made us happy because now we got a late-night spot whenever the cravings hit. Most nights they're open until midnight too, which is dangerous lol. And let me tell you... this place gets CRACKIN'. We came around 10:30 PM and the line was out the door, but I'm so glad we stayed because the drinks changed our life. Even on a random weekday when I met up with a homegirl, we looked up from yappin' for hours and suddenly the line was wrapped outside again. Trust--it's worth the wait. The inside is warm, modern, and culturally rich without feeling forced or overly trendy. The arches, lighting, patterned seating, earthy tones, and artwork make the whole space feel cozy and intentional. Even when it's packed, it still feels welcoming and communal--honestly just proof this is THE spot to be no matter the time of day. People are studying, catching up with friends and fam, working, or just vibing over coffee, and it somehow all works together perfectly. It's the type of café that makes you want to slow down and stay awhile instead of grabbing your drink and leaving. P.S. Keep an ear out for some Arabic covers of hip hop and pop songs! So much fun to come across as you're doin' ya thang.

Adding to my review, I ordered the hot pistacchio coffee, requested it to be made with less sugar,…read moreand it was perfect. A friend ordered the same with regular sugar anf it was too sweet for me.
