One of the best coffee spots in Fremont! Lots of space to work and hang and a good variety of drinks and food. The servers are nice and the price is very reasonable compared to other chains or coffee shops. We'll be coming more often!

I placed my order and waited over 50 minutes; on top of the long wait, they gave me something I hadn't ordered--very disorganized.

Great experience at Suju's! What really made the visit stand out was the exceptional service from Melina. She was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond by making my custom sandwich exactly the way I wanted it and bringing it to my table. The coffee was delicious, the sandwich was fresh and perfectly made, and her outstanding customer service made the whole experience even better. I highly recommend Suju's--and if you're lucky enough to be served by Melina, you're in for a great experience!

    Huge sandwich portions.

Good local vibes. I just had the best tasting $9.75 warm/lightly toasted tuna salad sandwich on sourdough bread here. It's been a while since I've had one that I really liked. Huge bread & great value big portions enough to feed two people. Fresh and fulfilling at this price point. Nice! 5/5. It went very well with my medium 16oz. hot chocolate $4.25 with complimentary whipped cream. Beverage was good tasting too. Cups are huge! Lots of love here. Great customer service with employees working nonstop. No doubts. Suju's coffee spots have good quality foods/beverages at good prices. Great value for sure. If you're going to tip a coffee shop/cake, this is worth it. Lines are busy in the morning. 4/5. Parking lot entering from Thorton Ave. was a bit narrow and congested, but you can easily find parking into the full public parking lot. Entering the doors is nothing fancy or formal here. There's plenty of space to sit and tables to work at. Good for work/study/groups. Their front counter displays a wide range of goodies/pastries/cakes/etc. which all looks great too. If you want beverages, wait for your order to be called out verbally. If you want a sandwich, just fill up your sandwich selections and preferences on the white sheet of paper at the counter when ordering. Decent coffee shop. Not fancy, but the location is convenient. I ordered a piece of carrot cake bar $3.75 too. Yes, authentic American carrots/raisons/cinnamon/nuts/cream/etc. I do enjoy looking at the display of cute mugs & cups at the bookshelves too. Everything was beautiful for retail item selections. I'm liking it. The place can get loud when all the customers are talking at the same time. If you're looking to lounge around for hours at a coffee shop with WiFi, this can be a great option. It's definitely a place to revisit again. Casual old building gets lots of love.

During Spring break; we came here three times within 4 or 5 days. We live in San Ramon so this tells you how much we enjoyed their drinks. My oldest daughter loves the Red Velvet frappe. On a Saturday; I called in my order of 5 drinks since my husband, oldest daughter, and her good friend were volunteering and setting up for a boxing event in Union City in between their track and field event in the tri valley. Despite it being an extremely busy Saturday; I made sure to "send my husband to pick up a 5 drink order." Lol. There are a lot of tables in Suju and it was busy whenever we stopped by. My husband didn't really care for the ambiance; but, I told him it was fine. It's definitely nothing fancy about it; but, if the drinks are good, I will drive for good drinks. Many of my friends and family tease me that I couldn't live without caffeine and that I'm a coffee connoisseur, so rating Suju's 4 stars is a compliment for them for sure. Now, can they open a fourth location....in the tri valley?!

Large 20 oz Matcha latte with almond milk $5.50
    Vi T.

Reasonable prices, friendly staff, and quick service. Picked up a large matcha latte (20 oz for $5.50) and bacon, cheese, egg croissant ($7.50). No extra charge for substitution of dairy (I chose almond milk since I'm lactose intolerant). You also have a selection of cheeses to choose from for your breakfast sandwich/croissant too. I chose provolone, but they have American, cheddar, pepper jack, etc. They also have a good selection of pastries and some pick and go chef or caesar salads ($8-9.50) for purchase. Plenty of seating indoors (18 tables of 4, 7 tables for 2) and wifi. They also seem to have a private conference room table for 8 people with a sliding glass door for noise reduction. A few patio tables are outside by the entrance too. Located in a shopping plaza at the intersection of Thornton and Moraine with ample parking in the lot.

The best place to study/do work! Not too loud and there are lots of tables! It does lack charger spots though. Coffee is ok, my caramel macchiato was wayy too sweet unfortunately. Great selection of pastries and some food-- great since outside food and drinks are not allowed.

This was my first time here the other day after passing by it many times, finally decided to give it a try & im so glad i did! It's very spacious inside & there is even a separate private room available for meetings or whatever. The menu is very big with a variety of coffees & teas along with pastries & even breakfast sandwiches & desserts. Also available for purchase are sooo many different mugs & teas & water cups & even books! The staff were not the friendliest but they also weren't mean or anything, more just like blah. Regardless, my mocha was excellent & i would definitely come here again.

Ordered the Chai Frappe and it was quite sweet.. almost tasted like syrup. The service was fast though so that was a plus. I most likely will not get the Chai Frappe next time I come to visit; I will get a different one next time

This is such a spacious café and they have cool decor and coffee mugs you can buy. Love the menu has lots of options and there are so many baked fresh pastries! Good customer service and my order was ready fast. The prices are really good too! I was surprised on how cheap my order came up to. The piña colada smoothie was really good. Perfect place to stop by in the morning for some good drinks and pasties.

Mocha frappe- make sure tell them no ice chunks!

Low review due to barrista! Ihave been a regular customer for more than 10 yrs. I usually get my cinnamon latte but today since its warm, ordered a mocha frappe (which I have had in the past), today 8/10 at the bottom of my drink chunks of ice, this shows the barrista doesn't care. Very disappointed

    Matcha Oatmilk Latte

Stopped by Suju's Coffee while visiting for the weekend, and I can see why it's so highly rated. We tried the Peruvian coffee, Caramel macchiato, and Matcha with oat milk--all super tasty and perfect for the gloomy weather. I also loved that they sell bags of their coffee beans and have cool mugs and tumblers. Prices were really reasonable too! The only thing I'd suggest is taking names for orders since it gets pretty loud inside, and it was hard to hear when drinks were ready. But overall, such a great spot--I'd definitely come back!

    Matcha too sweet
    Alan H.

Terrible service waited over twenty minutes and had to ask about my order. It turned out she placed the order incorrectly and accused me of not ordering matcha but instead a latte and then before they would redo the order she had to make sure the price was the same. Which clearly it was on the menu board. She refused to turn around and look at the price but insisted on checking on the computer. Matcha was okay overly sweetened and wasn't given an option for how sweet. Regardless the service was terrible, coffee was mid, and there a weird conference room...

Ask the Community - Suju's Coffee & Tea

    Are dogs allowed?

Not if I can help it unless they are service dogs

Is this location open til midnight or is it still 8pm? Does anyone know if this location will go back to closing at midnight?

It is only open until 8pm. No plans to stay open until midnight anytime soon.

I noticed now it says sit in dining. Does anyone know if there's a limit to how long you can stay for sit in? I've been waiting for sujus to allow sit in dining so I could be more productive studying because studying at home is not working for me.

I don't think they have a time limit, I do know that you must order from them and cannot bring in outside food from somewhere else.

    Is indoor seating allowed already?

No, they have some tables outside.

Does Suju's have any breakfast type sandwiches?

Yes. You can get it on a croissant, bagel, toast or an English muffin. You can get just egg or add the usual sausage, bacon or ham with cheese. Add sandwich toppings, but it's a little extra

Can Someone please recommend a good iced coffee here?

The iced white mocha is my personal favorite!!

Do you sell a variety of loose leaf teas?

They do. I think the smallest batch you can buy is 0.25 lb and the teas are different prices

The parking lot was completely full, so you have to be patient with finding a parking spot. It was pretty crowded and because of that, everyone had to self order. Throughout my time there, lots of customers came through, but I received my drink relatively quickly. As for the drink itself, the house mocha was okay, but I'm glad that I was able to try the Hojicha cream! The mocha + Hojicha cream was an interesting combination, but I think I would try their Hojicha Latte the next time I go. They have matcha, Hojicha, and seasonal offerings as well (like their banana cream!). There is a single bathroom (with code), WiFi (spotty sometimes but I was still able to get what I needed done), and a decent amount of seating (depending on time you go) with available outlets. I worked there from 12 to almost closing, and was able to get the table near the window + an outlet! I was truly sat. Overall, I would come again to try a different drink and hope to snag a table to work! If you're able to get a good spot to sit, it's a solid place to be productive. Thanks Lac Coffee!

They have coffee and pastries you will not find anywhere else in Fremont and remind me of some of the "Little Arabia" neighborhoods you normally only find in LA on the West Coast. Bee Bites: Sliced like a pie, covered in honey, delicious pastry with cheese inside. The kids loved this and debated over who got the last piece. Fatayer: I've had the chicken, beef, and spinach & feta and all were excellent. It's snack-sized and not too big and actually a perfect size for me to pair with their excellent coffee. I'm a huge fan of really strong coffee flavor / pistachio lattes, so I definitely had high expectations going in. The prices are pretty steep for lattes - with specialties at $8-9 a latte, so hopefully they're making their syrups in house... not sure, but definitely wish I asked! As it's a Monday afternoon in the middle of the work day, there was no line at all & the drinks came out pretty quickly. We ordered the biscoff and pistachio latte -- from first glance, they were suuuper milky, which sounds silly because duh, lattes are majority milk, but it really dilutes the taste of the espresso & makes the drink mainly taste like sweet syrup. Unfortunately, these drinks are not very strong at all :/. I'm sure you can customize your drinks, but as they come, they are extremely sweet! The initial sip of the biscoff latte tastes the most like its name sake, but after a while, it just tastes like your run of the mill vanilla latte. The pistachio latte on the other hand has a slight pistachio / floral taste to it, but it really doesn't have all that strong of a taste to it either. Overall, I wouldn't say that the lattes are bad, but they're just alright, especially for what you pay for. I think if I returned, it would be to try a couple of the huge assortment of cakes they offer, but probably not for the drinks -- but def recommend trying it for yourself, as always!

For starters this location is definitely a more pickup and go location. There is very limited seating and the space is also a lot smaller. But what they lack in space they make up in efficiency. I've never had an issue picking up anything here either through online orders or simply walking in to grab a cake. The staff are always on top of things. Now let's talk about the cakes. If you don't order ahead of time or reserve a cake in advance, then expect the consequences of not planning ahead. The cakes they have on display or the back may not taste the freshest. But in my particular case, I've been fortunate enough that every cake I bought from here was fresh and moist. The staff would even be kind enough to grab one from the back for me without even asking. I bring this up because for bakeries through put is very important on how fresh their products are and this location definitely goes through their inventory constantly. For mother's day they basically ran out of all their cakes so plan ahead for those big occasions. What I also appreciate is they are always able to do a special message for you free of cost, and I always end up tipping extra because you can rarely find this type of service at other cake shops.
