There can be ambient conversation and music playing, but as someone who can get distracted by the environment I would not classify the space as particularly distracting. It helps that there's always lots of other people studying/working too. I am a fan of their frappes, especially red velvet and cookies and cream. This is one of three Suju's I know of located in the Bay Area. The others are in Union City and another part of Fremont. It was my first time visiting this location, and I was able to find parking in the large parking lot shared with other businesses, including a grocery store and dollar store. Inside though was a different story - there was hardly any open seats! As this is pretty common in every Suju's I've been to, I didn't panic - if you order first and wait patiently, one of the tables will eventually vacate. I was able to grab a chair at a bar-like area and then a table opened up. Same menu as all the other Suju's, with decent coffees and teas with mostly pastry and sandwich offerings. It was even busier here than the UC location so the workers were busy filling orders and not a lot of room for chitchat. If you're looking for a warm place with free WiFi to get some work done (this location also closes at 10 pm), pay Suju's a visit. read more
