Like any other franchises, Paris Baguette can be a mixed bag. But I've been coming to this particular location since the pandemic and I've never had a bad experience here--unlike other locations. For starters this location is definitely a more pickup and go location. There is very limited seating and the space is also a lot smaller. But what they lack in space they make up in efficiency. I've never had an issue picking up anything here either through online orders or simply walking in to grab a cake. The staff are always on top of things. Now let's talk about the cakes. If you don't order ahead of time or reserve a cake in advance, then expect the consequences of not planning ahead. The cakes they have on display or the back may not taste the freshest. But in my particular case, I've been fortunate enough that every cake I bought from here was fresh and moist. The staff would even be kind enough to grab one from the back for me without even asking. I bring this up because for bakeries through put is very important on how fresh their products are and this location definitely goes through their inventory constantly. For mother's day they basically ran out of all their cakes so plan ahead for those big occasions. What I also appreciate is they are always able to do a special message for you free of cost, and I always end up tipping extra because you can rarely find this type of service at other cake shops. Because of their flexibility and availability, I will always recommend this location to family, friends and to you as well. Plan ahead and this place won't disappoint. We tried their cakes for Birthdays multiple times, which we're terrific! I like that they have a mobile app now to review their types of cake (many) and easily manage orders. They also make daily fresh pastries and a like their blend of sweets, classics, savories, and fusion choices. Lastly, they coffee is pretty solid too as they'll make fresh and with various options. Paris Baguette is reliably consistent at any of their locations I have visited around the bay areas - some locations are cleaner than others, some have higher prices than others, some have friendlier servers than others but the quality of their food and beverages are the same to me - reliably consistent. Very disappointed with my experience at this Paris Baguette. I bought a swirl donut, king cream donut, and a ham & cheese croissant. The donuts tasted old and stale, and when we politely asked if the croissant could be warmed up, the young man working was rude and barely warmed it at all it was still cold inside.Customer service was honestly worse than the food. Wow, a great place for after dinner dessert and coffee. While in the Bay Area for the weekend we delighted ourselves with not just one but a few different desserts to share. You can order from the counter or pick up a tray and tongs and make your own selection. I chose a Chocolate Tart, an Almond Raspberry danish and a few Macaroons topped with decaf coffee to share with my husband. Paris Baguette is normally my go to place for cakes and I always recommend them to my family and friends. Yesterday was my son's birthday and I picked up cake for my son. When I got home I pulled the cake out of the box and the whipped cream was cracked. I figured well it's not the prettiest one but as long as it tastes good. This one was by far the worst cake I've ever purchased from Paris baguette. The cake itself tasted really dry and stale and you could definitely taste that the cake was not fresh. Always see this place driving down Mowry and decided to check it out. Plenty of options for everyone and we even got a coffee. The only down fall to this place is it is a little pricey. They have many options from savory to sweet. You could even come here for lunch and grab one of their premade meals from the refrigerator section. Employees were nice and getting our coffee was very quick. Unfortunately, the pop up banner let me know that needed to be ordered at least 48 hours in advance. I decided to take my chances and dropped by this location. My main location is the Hayward bakery, but I go to the Mowry location occasionally. This location doesn't sell hot, brewed coffee after 2 pm which was disappointing, so I bought an Americano. I suppose the Hayward bakery has more traffic because they don't have this policy. The last time I was at the Fremont one, I witnessed 2 young children walking on the tabletops with their parents approval. That's nasty and the staff didn't say anything. This place is convenient and easy to visit. It's on a corner of a shopping center so you can get in and out easily. They have plenty of parking. No EV chargers. When I walked in, they had a circle shape setup, so you followed the flow in and out. They have trays, tongs, and paper to get your own pastries. I liked that! People can browse and grab what they want. At the register, you order coffee, drinks, and cakes. There's indoor seating and free WiFi. The place looked very clean! The staff was friendly and efficient. I would give this place a shot! These items are yummy and unique. They have a reward system you can join too. My favorites here was the Strawberry and Matcha Donuts. Nothing was overly sweet which I appreciated. A lot of times I'm wary to get donuts from places Im not sure of because I don't like Krispy Kreme style of donuts. They aren't too sweet. Theres a reason its called dough-nut.
