Like any other franchises, Paris Baguette can be a mixed bag. But I've been coming to this particular location since the pandemic and I've never had a bad experience here--unlike other locations. For starters this location is definitely a more pickup and go location. There is very limited seating and the space is also a lot smaller. But what they lack in space they make up in efficiency. I've never had an issue picking up anything here either through online orders or simply walking in to grab a cake. The staff are always on top of things. Now let's talk about the cakes. If you don't order ahead of time or reserve a cake in advance, then expect the consequences of not planning ahead. The cakes they have on display or the back may not taste the freshest. But in my particular case, I've been fortunate enough that every cake I bought from here was fresh and moist. The staff would even be kind enough to grab one from the back for me without even asking. I bring this up because for bakeries through put is very important on how fresh their products are and this location definitely goes through their inventory constantly. For mother's day they basically ran out of all their cakes so plan ahead for those big occasions. What I also appreciate is they are always able to do a special message for you free of cost, and I always end up tipping extra because you can rarely find this type of service at other cake shops. Because of their flexibility and availability, I will always recommend this location to family, friends and to you as well. Plan ahead and this place won't disappoint. Paris Baguette is reliably consistent at any of their locations I have visited around the bay areas - some locations are cleaner than others, some have higher prices than others, some have friendlier servers than others but the quality of their food and beverages are the same to me - reliably consistent. Wow, a great place for after dinner dessert and coffee. While in the Bay Area for the weekend we delighted ourselves with not just one but a few different desserts to share. You can order from the counter or pick up a tray and tongs and make your own selection. Paris Baguette is normally my go to place for cakes and I always recommend them to my family and friends. Yesterday was my son's birthday and I picked up cake for my son. When I got home I pulled the cake out of the box and the whipped cream was cracked. I figured well it's not the prettiest one but as long as it tastes good. This one was by far the worst cake I've ever purchased from Paris baguette. The cake itself tasted really dry and stale and you could definitely taste that the cake was not fresh. We recently picked up the Snow Bunny cake for our daughter's birthday, and it was adorable, perfect for kids! It would be great to see more designs added to their kids birthday cake collection. Unfortunately, the pop up banner let me know that needed to be ordered at least 48 hours in advance. I decided to take my chances and dropped by this location. My main location is the Hayward bakery, but I go to the Mowry location occasionally. This location doesn't sell hot, brewed coffee after 2 pm which was disappointing, so I bought an Americano. I suppose the Hayward bakery has more traffic because they don't have this policy. The last time I was at the Fremont one, I witnessed 2 young children walking on the tabletops with their parents approval. That's nasty and the staff didn't say anything. This place is convenient and easy to visit. It's on a corner of a shopping center so you can get in and out easily. They have plenty of parking. No EV chargers. When I walked in, they had a circle shape setup, so you followed the flow in and out. They have trays, tongs, and paper to get your own pastries. I liked that! And yes, they serve coffee and other drinks. When I arrived to pick up our cake, I saw a fresh batch of pastries come out around 9:30 am. But you won't be there long; there aren't a lot of space to dine in. I wanted to order Iced Milk Coffee, but unfortunately, the staff doesn't have the brew to do so. Therefore, we have limited drink options at that time, and I just ordered Iced Chai Latte instead. Welp... the baguettes are good buuttt this location I wouldn't really recommend. I've seen nice locations and unfortunately this wasn't the greatest. The walls are very dirty and the store looks a little run down. The staff was very... lacking I guess I could say. She served our baguettes cold so we had to go back up and ask for her to heat them and she kinda looked irritated. The coffee was cold as well and they recharged us because we asked for a new coffee.
