After 2 years, when my wife and I first ordered from Sukho Thai, this is still our favorite Thai restaurant. Their Thai Iced Tea with Coconut Milk is the best! We've tried Thai Iced Tea at other places, but these guys still have the best flavor. We tried their lunch combination recently and was also very good. The price is currently $15. Our regular favorites are still the green curry with chicken, tom kha soup with chicken, basil fried rice with beef, and pomelo and crispy rice salad. Our favorite meals are Crab fried rice and Tom yam kung here. I invited friend to eat a dinner here today and order Phad Thai noodle and Green curry with both veggie meat. There are options for meats. I always like veggie meat, healthy option and taste good, tender, looks like meat. A service lady is only oneself most of time. So I have to call her to order, ask chopsticks and bill. The table shakes rattling and little bit Chilli inside the restaurant. I keep my jacket. 4 starts for good food! read more

Although Sukho Thai still offers some pretty good food in appropriate sized servings, things have changed over the past year. Minor mistakes to orders, not including add ons, missing side orders of rice, those types of things. We order so much from them, most of the time its not too big of a deal. However, we recently placed an order thru their website directly for a larb grilled chicken salad, one of my favorites. However, when I returned home and opened the container, there was no chicken- only grilled squares of tofu and mushrooms. Not a big deal, I can just call and let them know. Except, when I did call, I was rudely dismissed as not paying attention to what I am ordering and it being my mistake, and not theirs. I found the reciept in my email, and called again, offering to forward the reciept and a picture of the dish we did receive. The dishes name, how it appears on the reciept and in fact the way it is described on their website is Grilled Chicken Larb. The description reads: "Grilled chicken, red onion, green onion, cilantro, roasted rice powder, and lime juice dressing" - no mention of tofu or mushrooms. (Tofu and mushroom larb is a completely different dish) While I understand most dishes are vegetarian based here and mistakes do happen, in this case it was clearly ordered as the chicken larb salad. Again, a lot of push back- to the point where we gave up due to being concerned about having a replacement dish made. Since this is not the first time we have had issues, and each time there is progressively more trouble addressing the issue, i updated my review. I am positive if you dine in, you will have a wonderful meal. However, be particularly vigilant for any take out orders, even those ordered via their website and not a third party. With other, more reliable options in the area, this is no longer my recommendation for Thai in the bel-red area. read more

My new favorite Thai restaurant I just discovered (way too late). I had always chalked this place up historically for vegetarians, but I will confirm they serve meat, as I always prefer chicken with any Thai dish. The calamari appetizer is lightly fried in an airy tempura batter which is different and delicious. The Cashew Nut (with added chicken) is simple and flavorful and has become my new favorite dish. Both the Pad See Ew and Pad Thai taste a lot better than the inconsistency that Bai Tong puts out. The Thai iced tea comes with coconut milk and is refreshing without being overly sugary sweet compared to other places. So far I've ordered takeout and dined in and I'm very impressed, yet disappointed that I haven't tried this place sooner. read more

Was looking for a casual lunch on a Friday near the office and spotted this restaurant that seemed to advertise itself as a vegetarian Thai restaurant. My colleague is vegetarian so I thought it would be good to suit him for once. Turns out it is a standard Thai with all meets and fish available. Started with a large pot of jasmine tea and some appetizers. I loved the tea and the very cool stone pot. Then followed up with a selection of main courses including fish and vegetarian options. Everything was really tasty. WE were there for a lengthy chat and so were at the table for over 90 mins and there was no rush and plenty of refills on our tea. Great service, lovely food and a nice, standard casual Thai restaurant surrounding. Easy parking too for Bellevue. Recommended! read more

I recently visited Sukho Thai for lunchtime. There's a good amount of parking and a decent amount of tables. There were few groups then, so we were immediately seated and accommodated for our party of 7. I ordered the Mango salad and Chicken Pad Thai (3 stars) for food. The presentation of the food was excellent, but the portion size was small relative to the pricing. Personally, the Pad Thai I had was not that spicy, even at a 3-star level. The Mango Salad was refreshing, but their sauce was overpowering for my taste buds. This place would be great for a date night as I love the restaurant environment and food presentation. read more

I have come here for both lunch and dinner and it's consistently a great meal. The service is quick and simple, the food comes out really quickly and the food always is tasty. There aren't too many tables (less than 10 maybe?) and I've always been able to get a parking spot right out front. Definitely check it out- small business that is doing a great job! read more

We've been to Sukho Thai a few times now and it's safe to say we're putting it on our regular Thai grub rotation. Periodically I go through meatless spurts, so Sukho Thai is a great place for that! It's vegetarian and pescatarian Thai food, so that means no meat (chicken, pork, or beef). I know you can go to other Thai places and just order items without meat, but Sukho Thai omits that temptation for me. We've ordered Tom Yum, Tom Kha, Phad see-ew, crispy ginger with cod, Brussels sprouts and cauliflower (my favorite), crab fried rice (another favorite), and they also have a special menu (Thai street food) you may want to take a look at. Last night we had the stir-fried wide rice noodles with prawns and squid off that menu. It's located in what looks like a deceptively small house off Bel-Red Road. And if they're busy, parking can get full, but you can park across the street, off 152nd. Also if they're busy, service isn't great. All other times, I feel we've had decent service. read more

The service was great! We did the check in for the free thai tea, but it's one per table.. which they didn't state in the check in. The food wasn't bad, but I think at the price point, it's not that worth it... Especially because if you order curry or any dishes that need rice, rice is extra. The food is great and tasty. Its pescatarian, so veggie and fish only. Their salmon is my fav and they have pretty good curries too. It might be considered a little pricey for their quantity. Their service is terrible - mainly due to the owner/manager up at counter. She doesn't care do any service. She doesn't like dealing with kids. My oh my! Hands down this is one of my very favorite restaurants of all time which is saying tons as Thai is my go to when I go out to eat. Being vegetarian, the options are endless and the food amazing. The sauces, are perfect, well balanced and not to heavy showing how much care they put to making them. I really love all of the dishes but often get the garlic pepper and cashew nut and most always get the Phad Thai. Before COVID we would go in and eat inside, during COVID they have made the pick up great and if you go to their website they have a place to order online. I cannot leave out the owners and people that work here who are wonderful people, caring, great customer service and just super nice people. I think I found my new favorite Thai place, and lucky for me it's just down the street! It was one of the best ideas I've ever had in my life to tried all the curries: Red- got this with prawns and it was a great choice. Warm, savory, with a slight kick. This was the family favorite. Yellow- got this with meat replacement, which was yummy. The turmeric gives it its yellow color. Flavorful, familiar "curry" taste, with the added sweetness and creaminess of coconut milk. Yum. Green- herbaceous, with lots of veggies. We got this with tofu. It was smooth, complex, with a kick from the green chilis. This dish was so good too! In addition to the curries we got an order of pad see ew, and an order of sautéed eggplant, both had that wok chi! My family and I love Thai food and have been to a lot of places, and this place hit the spot! We ordered the green curry with tofu, thai sukiyaki, pad thai, and thai fried rice. The noodle dishes were all amazing. They were flavored so well and cooked perfectly. The fried rice was good too, just wish it slightly more seasoning. The green curry was flavored well but was a little watered down for my liking. The dishes were all very filling and well-portioned. Btw you get a free Thai iced tea if you check in via Yelp! Note that the prices on the menu don't include proteins (or rice in the case of the curry)--they cost a few dollars extra to add on. Prices felt a bit high, but this could be the norm for the area. Cute little family owned thai restaurant! Green curry had good flavors and portion size was decent but they charged extra for rice. Slightly pricey for what you get ($14 + $2 for rice). The pad thai tasted like a standard pad thai. The spring rollls were pretty large, although also slightly pricey ($12). The interior of the restaurant was nice. We had to sit in the extended option behind the kitchen, it's like a private area and good if we are in a group but it was extremely cold, like literally no heater. I didn't have a jacket and I was like why did I come here also their service is too slow. I like the place so couldn't reduce the stars but that was unacceptable. It's been a long time since we've been here but just recently had our first visit since the pandemic and just really wanted to give another review. We came in on a Thursday evening and were seated right away. We were seated away from other parties for safe social distancing and all the staff wore masks. Our server was incredibly friendly and attentive. I was surprised to see chicken options added to the menu as this used to be a Pescatarian/Vegetarian Restaurant. We are not vegetarians or pescatarians so it was great to have more protein options to choose from! We had the deep fried Brussel sprouts, Pad Thai, Crab Fried Rice, Fresh Spring rolls, crispy garlic chicken, asparagus and mushrooms, and Thai Iced Tea. Everything was DELICIOUS but our absolute favorite are the crispy fried Brussel sprouts! We brought my cousin here for the first time for her birthday dinner. I wished her happy birthday when she walked in and I guess our server must have overheard because she brought her a special birthday treat dessert at the end of our dinner for free. Small place but food is packed with flavor! We ordered the crab fried rice (4 stars), Tom kha (4 stars) and red curry with a side of steamed noodles. The food is very delicious and the spice is less on the spicy side. The price is normal for what you'd expect from Thai food. The service was great and the staff were masked. The quantities are food were enough to get you full with maybe a little leftover.
