I would like to rate the food, but it is impossible to get an online menu to choose what I want. Hard to believe in 2020, well anything can happen in 2020, I have to sign in to grub hub or door dash or some other site before I might get a look at a menu. I've been eating at Suki Hana for almost fifteen years, and it's still the same old, delicious food. Prices have stayed steady, though portion sizes don't seem to have suffered for it. All in all, this restaurant sells the best Japanese fast food in the area. In my opinion, the star of their menu is the teriyaki chicken, and while it's far from gourmet food, it's fantastic for a tasty meal on the go. It's a little greasy, but it's always hot, tender, and flavorful, and the portion sizes are enough to fill up anyone. I highly recommend a stop by to give them a go. I've made more than one trip to the mall just to get dinner there, and definitely will again. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. The SUPER rude cook by the teriyaki grill had me in tears with the way he talked to my mom. My mom was simply asking if our food was ready. My mom and I BOTH did not hear him say anything, he just looked at us as if we were asking a stupid question. My mom then picked up the container and opened it to look that it wasn't ready. He was shaking his head at this point, and said out loud, "I told you it's not ready". Kept shaking his head and had an obvious smirk on his face even with the mask on. My mom felt embarrassed. I then replied, "It seemed like you didn't say anything, and maybe it's because you had your mask on but WE both didn't hear you". Idk if it's my hormones from being pregnant that got me emotional, but I hate when people talk to my parents as if they are stupid just because their English is limited. HATE THE SERVICE we received. I have been getting food at Suki Hana since I was a child and have always been allergic to shrimp which is not necessarily an uncommon allergy. Time after time I have had to argue with the employees to please make sure the utensils used to cook my meat is not touched with the shrimp which doesn't seem like to much to ask. Eventually they give in and the chef makes himself aware of my allergy. Today I was told with an attitude that in fact they didn't care about the allergy and there was nothing they could do. I let it go and then proceeded to watch them use multiple different utensils for both meat and shrimp. I walked away from the establishment and I promise I will never be back. I have never witnessed a restaurant so inconsiderate of something as serious as an allergy. read more

If you are looking for just ok food and to fill your gut for low price, then this is the place for you. The food was ok. The price was right for it. But the service was rude. I felt like a cow being prodded along to slaughter. It wasn't that busy to even justify the process. As I got up to the line where they prepare your food, it seemed like I was at a farmers market in China town in Philly - everyone yelling and being very short with the customers. After putting up with all of this, I still had to wait for my chicken teriyaki for another 3 minutes. What was the point of putting the customers through all that? Great place to eat if you want to feel like you're getting yelled at in basic training. The food is mediocre at best. As a person of Japanese heritage, this is NOT authentic Japanese food. Suki Hana has been around since I was a little girl and I can't say much has changed! Their prices are affordable and they give you a very generous amount of food. I go through phases where I only eat suki Hana. It's literally addicting! Lol I normally get their rice or noodles, their honey chicken, sesame chicken, or teriyaki chicken, and of course their potatoes or sweet plantains. Those are the items I've tired. All soo yummy!! As Eric said if you do not know the rules they can come off rude, but hey I am from Philly and am totally used to that, (Genos and Pats in South Philly, mess up the order and get a dirty look or sent to the back of the line!) Another thing that reminded me of Philly is that they are fast and do not like people who are slow and holding up the line of at least 15 people in back of you, (on a slow time of the day!) so please know what you want! I suggest the honey chicken, rice and vegtable, when they ask for your order say it just like that and you can not fail! So to sum it up huge portions, good tasty food at a reasonable price, you can not beat it! My mother insist that I often take her here just to spend $45-$50 on food court orders. She will eat something there and take food for later. We go to the mall a lot. The food court has lots of food places you see in every mall across the country but we always can't resist Suki Hana! The line is usually the longest food line in the food court because they give you plenty of food and their price and good. read more

The food is good but I am suspicious of their food handling practices. The counters are loaded with personal items such as purses, clothing, cups, open drinks and other non-food items. I'm sure the health dept would write them up for that. The customer service is poor. They frown, snatch things from you, and get very annoyed when you ask for extra sauce on the teriyaki chicken. The customer is always right and given that they are the busiest vendor in the food court, you would think they would be falling over themselves to make us feel welcome. It's exactly the opposite. The customers can fix this by not patronizing the business but....as other reviewers stated, the nasty attitudes won't deter us from eating there. Terrible experience today. I simply asked for a receipt. The cashier did not know how to give the receipt. A supervisor showed her how, while scolding me. She told me in an accent that I should ask in advance. (Of course receipts are given after it is rung. Makes no sense.) I had hoped I had heard her wrong. I told the chef about my shell food allergy and to please be cautious of cross contamination. Apparently that was too much to ask for. It aggravated the chef and he was very rude and even yelled back when I asked if he used the same spatula for the shrimp orders and the chicken orders. Hello Yelpers! I come here at least 3 times a week and order a #5, #10, double shrimp and white rice (#5 BBQ Chicken, #10 Spicy Chicken). This is the best Japanese food ever! Its not for everyone obviously. The lines can be long at times but it is worth the wait. Lines do tend to move at a reasonable pace. I do not care much for the stores in the mall but Suki Hana is what keeps me going to the mall over and over again. Hope this review helps. I go there 3 times a week maybe 4 I always get honey chicken with teriyaki chicken and lo mein absolutely delicious mwah I never had a problem with their food they taste better than hibachi. To me they are just so damn delicious I'm goin there today to eat more suki Hana everytime I go there I get 3 meals I can eat them all day and night if they let me take 5 things wit me on a island for a week it be lots of money my girlfriend the xbox one giant 3d tv and unlimited suki. Food tasty. I ordered fish, rice, plaintains (also honey chicken, but this item was forgotten). My total order came to $10.30. However, I was accidentally charged $130 on my Visa, which went through on my account. The cashier was apologetic, but I would have been a little more accepting if the two young ladies taking my order beforehand, were not so rude. This place is really good for mall food. I really dislike eating at the mall court with a passion but if I'm really hungry you can bet I'll be getting food from this place.
