It's pretty good ramen. The broth is good, the noodles are good, most things are good. I've been there twice. Second time not so enamored with the char siu pork as it tasted old-ish. The char siu bun is pretty good, but a bit too much bun and a bit too much mayo. Gyozas were fine. I think they put enough extras in their ramen. Both times I've had the tonkotsu, my go-to ramen. Of course, they have various Ramune drinks there. But not the creamy melon drink, my favorite. Service is friendly and efficient. Not a cozy place in which to eat, but it is nice. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. I want to start by saying that this was the best takoyaki I have ever had. It was crispy on the outside and perfectly gooey and tasty on the inside, wonderfully pleasant to taste. Unfortunately, that's my biggest praise. The garlic tonkotsu broth was lackluster and not very garlicky at all. The chashu was very dry. Overall, it was tasteless but the noodles and seasoned egg were cooked perfect. The green tea was just tea packets thrown into hot water on the way to the table so our first cup wasn't steeped. The cheesecake was a store cheesecake that was still frozen in the center. The yakisoba had a better taste and the pork was less dry in that but I wouldn't rave about it. This is definitely a local favorite that had many regulars coming in that knew the staff but I had difficulty getting our server to come over, even when I would make direct eye contact. He never came to check on us and we ended up just walking up front to check out. There was no music or real vibe going on but the mural was pretty on the far wall. Overall, I was pretty disappointed that this place had a near perfect rating for a very average experience. Please never stop making the takoyaki, though. Keep it up! read more

Popped in for lunch on a Saturday around noon and we were able to get a table right away. Casual place with a decent amount of seating. Service was friendly and fast. What a delicious surprise!! I think if you're not looking for it you wouldn't even know it's there. Next to a barbershop in the parking lot of Harmons, it's incredible to find this quality of food. Their ramen is out of this world - the broths are unctuous and sinfully rich. We chose Pork Chashu buns and takoyaki to split as appetizers. Both were excellent choices! The buns were so pillowy and soft, and the tender pork and sauce perfection! The takoyaki also were also soft and delicious, as well as piping hot! It was a beautiful dish. My daughter said the broth in her black garlic ramen was so savory and the dish was just an umami bomb! We are visiting Salt Lake to ski and have been craving ramen. We saw this place had good reviews and decided to give it a try! We came at 5pm on a Friday night and they weren't busy. Service was good, we were seated promptly and didn't have to wait long for our food. They have some great combo deals that are really affordable--I got a 3-piece gyoza and ramen combo for $17! The gyoza were perfectly fried on the bottoms. I went with the spicy tonkotsu for my ramen choice which was really good! I enjoyed the spicy broth, it had a nice kick but wasn't too spicy to eat. Not overly salty like other reviews mentioned. Generous servings of noodles, pork, and toppings. I even had some left over that I took togo! My partner and I chose a new ramen place to check out! The restaurant had upbeat music and was very well lit with a lot of windows, always an added bonus. We were greeted right away, seated and given two menus. One for regular pricing and their specials, which honestly had deals you couldn't pas. I'm not sure if it was because it was Memorial Day, but we were the only table in the restaurant for the first 30 minutes. A plus for me, as it meant no wait! I ordered the deal "Gyoza + Any Ramen for $16" and my partner ordered the same. My ramen choice was the Spicy Tonkotsu. The dish had decent flavor, although it tasted as if it were missing something and the noodles were a tad overdone. I was not asked what meat I wanted, however was satisfied with what the server brought. Our Gyoza came out within 5 minutes and the ramen shortly after. They nailed it with quick service! The teriyaki chicken plate and the yakisoba were solid and delicious. The tonkotsu ramen was good but I felt the broth lacked that last dimension of flavor and it wasn't my favorite place to get ramen. I'll order something else when I come again. The prices are a little high for a casual restaurant but I think every restaurant has raised prices so I get it. I am glad for a good Asian option south of Fort Union and glad to have tried ONE. Very casual but not very big so if you're trying to go with a big group of people I would call ahead to just make sure you can get seating. Service was great that food came out very fast and it was warm. The staff is all very friendly and attentive. It is right next to Harmons so you can go grocery shopping before or after, no need to worry about going shopping hungry! If you stop by you won't be disappointed, I have gotten healthy ramen where they cannot do the noodles gluten free so what they did was to substitute cabbage instead, making it even healthier and so delicious! Really enjoy One Noodle Bar in Sandy. Been here for lunch during the week as well as getting takeout several occasions. The restaurant is organized, and very quick which is appreciated during business lunches. The menu is quite expansive and does a good job with explaining what everything is for the standard American diner.
