Checked this place out since it was a short walk from my Airbnb. Can tell this is a place that locals love. Loved the vibe of the place and the workers were super nice and friendly. You got a lot of food for the price you paid. Both had a lot of leftovers. Take cash only but the have an ATM.

Place off the beaten path that has amazing breakfast oh and looks like an old school diner!!! If that's what you are looking for this is a spot to add to your list! It a short walk from several areas. Heads up this is a CASH ONLY establishment, but they have an ATM in the back. You can ask pay via Venmo also. There are several options to choose from. If you are feeling more of a scramble, they got you....classic pancakes and eggs, they got you....they also have some specials options on the front part of the menu. Truly you can't go wrong. I ordered the Pine Barrens pancakes (wild blueberry filled pancakes with homemade blueberry syrup and pickled blueberries and it was DELICIOUS!!! I asked for a side of scrambled eggs (without cheese) but it came with cheese. Not a huge problem. The eggs were scrambled perfectly...they did the fluff and fold technique which I love. My brother ordered the numb#r two a with sunny side up eggs and corn beef hash. He loved it. He also order coffee and it came in a cute container that was able to site on the table. The service was great. It appears that anyone can take your order and bring your food or you can ask for whatever you may need. All in all it's a great place to stop by to get some delicious breakfast.

A classic diner vibe and food you can't go wrong with. The French toast is the best I've had in Philly so far, and my fiancé thoroughly enjoyed his chocolate chip pancakes - he rated them an 8.5. The hashbrowns were also good, a little more greasy for my liking, but we still ate the whole plate. This place is busy for a reason!

Finally got a chance to try this restaurant. The pancakes lived up to the hype as 1 of the best in Philly! I'd give them a 8.5/10 and to me they tasted very similar to IHOP (which is a great thing). The biscuit left much to be desired though and I would give that a 6.5/10 (the strawberry compote was great though and prevented me from grading the biscuit lower lol). All and all I LOVE that I have a restaurant with quality cakes on my backyard in Fishtown. Service was fast and efficient too. Will definitely be back! Cash only spot but they allow Venmo which I think is cool.

I'll be honest, what initially drew my attention to this restaurant was the hilarious meme mural on the side of the building. Aside from that, my group was pleasantly surprised with this diner. We ordered the Fishtown Scrappetizer, berry french toast, number 2, and lox eggs Benedict. The Fishtown Scrappetizer: crispy, saucy, and so yummy. You should get this. We were initially intrigued by fish being in the scrapple but was actually really good! The French toast was delicious and the berry flavor was wonderful. Although during those last couple bites the sweetness was a little too much. The lox eggs Benedict: probably the biggest disappointment of our dishes. The lox wasn't moist and the English muffin was also very dry. Hash on the side was great tho The number 2 was great! Classic. You can't mess this up. Eggs cooked perfectly over easy, two huge buttermilk pancakes, and breakfast sausage. Extremely filling and took home leftovers! Overall this was a solid diner experience. And the wait wasn't even too bad for a Sunday morning (10 minutes). CASH ONLY

The food was OK at best. The wait time was also pretty long, which made no sense because we were one of the first people there. The scrapple was good though Owner was a bit weird. He kept rambling on about politics. Like I'm just trying to eat food.....just a weird politically charged atmosphere.

The breakfast spot I have been dreaming of since I moved to Philly! This cozy, old-school diner is the place to go if you're looking for a solid spread. We were seated upon entry and immediately served a pitcher of hot coffee as we browsed our options. In addition to their regular menu, they had a bunch of sweet and savory specials. However, we decided to stick to the basics for our first visit. We both got two egg platter with scrambled eggs, blueberry pancakes, and bacon, as well as shared a side of breakfast potatoes. Everything came out hot and fresh. The star of the meal were the fluffy, sweet blueberry pancakes that are definitely some of the best I have had in the city! The potatoes were super crispy on the outside, but warm and soft on the inside. As always, our eyes were much bigger than our stomachs, but I have no complaints about starting my Monday with a half stack of pancakes! Great food, kind staff, and comfy, diner atmosphere! Highly recommend -- don't forget it's cash only!

A solid diner, open early. We went early enough that there was no wait. Food was good and what you'd expect from a diner. Grits (without cheese) were probably my favorite. As time went on, there was a wait on a Saturday morning with a lot of families with kids.

I love this place and I'm so happy it's within walking distance from our house! The people who work here are always so pleasant and the food is just outstanding. Cash only!

Scrapple and eggs...and some killer hash browns. Apparently they're famous for them.

The space itself is huge and very clean, with plenty of tables and seating, so it was easy for everyone to spread out, settle in, and enjoy themselves without feeling packed in. A major point in its favour is the setup for watching sports. They have a massive wall of TV screens, plus more TVs throughout the space, which made it very easy to keep up with multiple games at once. No awkward craning for a view, no fighting for the one good seat, just a very solid setup for a group outing.
