Luke was awesome! We called for an inspection and basic cleaning of our fireplace, which we'd never used before since moving into our house 4 years ago. He came to our house ON TIME and did the inspection and cleaning for a very fair price. He showed us some minor cracks and weaknesses in our brick and chimney that he was able to patch and seal (again, for much less than we were expecting) on a 2nd visit and now our fireplace is working great! Luke showed up exactly when promised (a few minutes early even), educated me on fireplace care and maintenance (which was very, very helpful as my wife and I are recent first time homeowners), and helpfully diagnosed the issues we were having with our fireplace. Luke Sullivan is great. He answered the phone when I called and was very knowledgeable. I was selling a house and the buyers wanted the chimney cleaned and serviced since the inspector said birds were nesting at the top. Luke didn't think there were birds and indeed he was correct. No birds. There were a few leaves that came down the flue and Luke said the chimney looked to be recently cleaned and that it did not need cleaning. Apparently the leaves in the firebox caused the inspector to throw a red flag and think there were birds at the top. He was covering his buttox I guess. Luke wanted to save me money as opposed to most companies that want to take your money. He said no need to clean it and waste your money. He did have to charge me a few bucks for the trip which I understood and he did clean the firebox and wrote me an invoice for my buyers and was on his way. I'd surely use him again.
