Yelpers, you did not let me down! What a great company, and a great find. Our house inspector told us the chimney and fireplace needed some attention, so I put out a few calls. I admit, I am a wee bit high maintenance as you can tell by my other reviews. Having said that, I was not going to be at the appointment and wanted to make sure my husband did not have to convey what I wanted done. I wanted whomever came out to be crystal clear on that before I agreed to let them come out. Luke was, by far, the easiest to work with, and assured me he would be able to "make me happy" despite the constrains of my modest budget for this project. Despite my usual skepticism, I got a really good feeling from Luke over the phone. He has the best personality - very warm and genuine, yet still professional which I respect and typically respond to. So plans were made and he came out. Joshua's review picks up from there, but I will say the work was done exactly as he said it would be, and the price was reasonable and well within my budget. Luke also educated my husband regarding the care and maintenance of the chimney. Saw their reviews on Yelp and they looked good. We needed to have our dryer duct cleaned so I requested 7 estimates on Yelp. Sullivan responded first and was the least expensive. With their high customer rating I contacted them and they came out when promised. Luke and Steve came in our house and the dogs didn't bark but quickly became best friends with Luke and Steve. Our dogs have always been good judges of character! I know it sounds kinda silly but it's true! When Luke surveyed the roof he noticed one of the tops of our turbines was half off. Called about what I thought was a serious problem, turned out that I wanted a bonfire in my tiny fireplace so smoke of course was filling the house. Called Luke up and he was very prompt at getting back to me to schedule appointment. He did it the next morning, arrived on time, very nice guy and very personable. Made sure to cover the whole area with tarps and cleaned the fireplace, repainted the grate and checked out chimney from inside and the attic. Nothing serious, he just informed me that I need to go smaller on the fires. But in Texas we like everything bigger!! He cleaned all the mess and texted a week later to see if I was still having any problems. It's been about three months since I moved into my home and the fireplace was on my list to get inspected, cleaned, etc. They inspected my fireplace, cleaned it and made a a few suggestions with some concerns in the firebox.
