    two baskets of food

Me and my sister and nieces went here Saturday and we all got diarrhea and vomiting! My stomach hurt so bad hours after leavin there we had hot wings they weren't fried too hard and tasted a bit funky! I was on toilet for hours poopin out my insides and throwing up all I ate and drunk which was one horrible disgusting drink never again and the comedy was horrible was more like bullying the women in audience of a few people very nasty n disrespectful. It's a thin line between comedy n bullying just no for me

Nice spot...intimate setting with comfortable seating, good ambiance, good sound, appropriate temperature, sufficient parking, & nice staff. Had a great time at the Saturday, July 25th 8:30 pm show....comedians were on point - very entertaining - I was laughing most of the night and opening singer was darn good. Food was acceptable ...the serving size of the crabby fries (which were quite good & very tasty) were enough for two or three people and their prices were reasonable. Only giving this location 4 stars because they don't have a blender for blended drinks (disappointing), require two food or drink items to be purchased per person, charged 18% gratuity for service of finger foods to two people, and our server forgot that we paid her cash despite having to bring us change back to our table. But since the show was great, I'm still very pleased we went & plan to return there for future comedy shows. Overall a VERY GOOD first impression!!!! Sully's Comedy Cellar in the basement (hence the "cellar" reference) of the Bowman Restaurant but there is no problem with sound or activity interfering with the enjoyment of the live comedy shows hosted here.

We ended up parking in the neighborhood across the street. There is a busy Happy Hour going on around 5:30 which is great. The Emerald Tavern has a bit of Irish-ness about it with a few Brit food options on the menu like fish and chips and shepherd's pie. We sat at the bar and were pleased to find a beer menu! The beer selection was varied and included some local options. They also have a wide selection of beer on tap and in bottles and cans. I was not expecting that. The food menu was also much larger than I would have expected. They have just about everything here. I had the chicken quesadilla (it came with salsa and sour cream) and my husband had the cheesesteak special which was only $6! All of the prices on the menu were very reasonable. We also had the pretzel bite which were good if not a little greasy. The quesadilla and cheesesteak were really good! Service at the bar was fast and friendly. They have live music here on the weekends but we left long before the band started setting up because we are old.

Since i didn't see it, i had brought in my water, the server drew our attention to it. She permitted the drinks to staÿ out of the way, but any beverage was considered by the Health Dept as an unknown. Our order arrived quickly, my French onion Soup was as good as i remember for flavor, their broiler was down so the melty brownèd cheese was not available. So french fries with gravy is a stand-by. My hubbands spaghetti with meat sauce was excellent They gave him 4 meatballs. Fresh and he could only eat half, leaving the remaining half for the ñext day.He could not resist the bean soup. We were greeted and served drinks almost immediately. We ordered mozzarella moons to share, and they were perfect. The cheese was so melty, nice and crispy outside, and the marinara sauce was to die for. For my entree I ordered the fried rice and while it didn't taste bad, it just wasn't what I was expecting. I thought I'd be getting Asian style fried rice but it was more like boiled rice with huge pieces of broccoli and some mushrooms/blackened chicken. Again it tasted good but I certainly wouldn't consider it fried rice. My gf got the chicken bay sandwich. The chicken was good but the crab dip was very cream cheese heavy and you could barely taste the crab. The fries were well cooked but needed salt. Overall it was a good experience and I'd give them another shot.

Not sure of the pricing but my friend said they were reasonable. There's pool tables in both sides, additionally to the left there's arcade games. You have to order at the bar but they bring the food out to you. We ordered a regular grilled chicken sandwich, chili cheeseburger, both with fries and one Long Island iced tea. We loved the fries, both the chicken sandwich and cheeseburger were bland, they needed salt. The Long Island was exactly what it needed to be. I only ordered one. I'll gladly return. It's a fun time!!!

This is Puerto Rican pitorro, also known as ron cañita, made with care and intention rather than gimmickry. Many local liquor stores now carry the brand, and it is well worth picking up a bottle, but visiting the distillery is an experience in itself. The founder is a fellow Puerto Rican born retired military member, a background I share, and like me, he has put down roots in Maryland. That story is reflected clearly in the brand's own framing, "Puerto Rican born, Maryland made." The space feels grounded and unpretentious, and that sensibility carries through to the hospitality. We arrived late on a Saturday and were still welcomed warmly, never rushed. We were taken care of by the founder's daughter, who was exceptionally kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. She guided us through a flight that included the traditional pitorro, almond, pineapple, coffee, coconut chai, and several seasonal offerings. The flavors were thoughtful and well balanced; even the infused expressions retained a clear rum backbone rather than drifting into novelty. We enjoyed them enough to leave with several bottles. This is artisanal pitorro done right, rooted in Puerto Rican tradition and confidently made in Maryland. Buying it locally is convenient, but going to the distillery is where the people, the story, and the spirit fully come together.
