I drove 30 minutes to have my lashes done with Brian after reading great reviews, and I am so glad I did. He gave me really helpful, honest suggestions and told me what would lash styles good on me. He was super gentle and made sure I was comfortable while applying the lashes. He made sure the glue was completely dry at the end so that it wouldn't sting when I opened my eyes. I appreciated that he made sure I was happy with the work after and made adjustments on what I wanted different even after he was done. It's been a long road for me in the eyelash extensions department. For starters, i like my lashes to look similar to a drag queen, so finding a lash tech who can/will do that is not easy. I used to have an amazing girl that I went to who did exactly that, but unfortunately, I went to my appointment one day, only to find out that she was killed by a drunk driver. RIP. Please don't drink and drive. Sadly I have bounced around since then and haven't found anyone that has been able to make me look like the elephant from Sesame Street. I went to this place today on a whim because as i was shopping at the Cerritos mall , i caught a glimpse of myself in a mirror and realized my lashes looked sparse as all hell. My current lash girl decided to take a vacation (selfish, i agree.) so i was left in the lurch. I was lucky enough to be seen the same day by Melody. She was nice and i decided to just be easy and say "do whatever you have time for. " That's not how this place works, though. You have to pick a style, and a method and a length. I stood and looked at the wall and tried to pick the most dramatic pair of eyes on the board that resembled sally the camel. . I landed on a pair labeled 9D. Melody looked at me in shock. Maybe this isn't a typical choice here? She spoke in a foreign language to her boss, who then told me the price would change from 80$ to 115$. Totally reasonable. Again, i reiterated "no pressure. Whatever you have time for." The place is clean ( a little hot , dress light) and calming. Nearly silent except for the calming piano music playing. Melody taped my left eye first and began to work on it quietly. I attempted pleasantries but i believe the language gap was a tad too wide.... (Or maybe she hated me???) No harm done. She works on one eye at a time, which at first concerned me.... What if there's a fire and i have to run out with only one eye done!??? But i tried to calm my worried mind and be productive and take a nap. It was about 8 minutes into the appointment where i suddenly had a psychotic intrusive thought: what if i just scream at the top of my lungs?! Just let out one huge loud ceremonious holler like some sort of ravenous beast on a hunt? The thought consumed me and i tried my best not only to stop the urge, but to keep from laughing. Melody noticed i was breathing funny and containing my laughter by a thread. My chest was starting to bounce and my eyes were quivering. She asked me if she was hurting me. "No! No no! It tickles". (Wtf???) I managed through a locked jaw. I told myself to stop it!!! What kind of lunatic am i?? I was able to relax only for a few minutes before the idea came back into my head like a freight train at full speed. I cracked. I began belly laughing with my whole chest and body. "I HAVE ALLERGIES" i said before sitting up and banging my head into the light she was using directly above my head. "IM SORRY". I faked a sneeze like somehow that would explain everything and laid back down. Eyes never opening. The rest of the appointment i had to think about horrible things like 9/11, the state of our country, and my tax appointment next week to keep a level mind. But all the while.... That scream was taunting me ! I'm laughing my ass off EVEN NOW! It's been HOURS!!!!!!!!! But yeah my lashes look pretty good, nothing wild. I was , however, shocked when i went to pay and it was 1-FIFTY instead of 1-FIFTEEN. no harm no foul. She put up with me, and didn't stab my eye. Thank you! read more

I used to get my lashes done every couple of months and ended up switching to getting lash perms. I had a very traumatic experience where my lashes ended up weak and wouldn't even curl or hold my mascara. My lashes looked like thinned out, dead spider legs.
