A family vacation almost ruined because a ghetto condo. Condo Loneeagle 3015 of the summit county mountain retreat next to the river run Gondola was terrible. Location undeniable. There was so many annoying things that made the place so hard to stay. When we addressed these problems to the staff who were no help other than say that can fix but then came up with excuses when we gave them times that worked for our convenience. During our stay we experienced dirty clothes shoved in the couch from previous visitors, flickering lights in bedrooms, dust everywhere, vents, fans broken, shower door handle, black mold and mildewing in the shower, dirty dishes left behind under the bed as well as food, wifi did not work. Holes in the furniture stains on the mattress, stained seat cushions on the chairs and there was no concern at all from the staff they just blamed it on the owner yet when we tried to contact the owner the management team intervened. After 63 emails back-and-forth and photos of proof of the unacceptable cleanliness and maintenance of the unit. We got no where with management. We offered to leave a day or two early so they can remedy all these issues before the next people check in. And they all they wanted to do was room rent the room knowing that they weren't going to get all of the issues fixed before re-renting. Staying in this location is not worth the convince to the gondola. There are other units in Vail or Keystone that are way more superior accommodations for less $. Don't waste your money or time here you will be disappointed. But if you're willing to rent a place that is over priced for what the amenities are just for the location this is your place. You have been warned. read more

The location is a 5 Star. However, it's ridiculous that you can't check in till 4pm and must be out by 10am. Additionally they charged $100 for the room (very good rate) but then charge a $100 room cleaning fee - seriously, we stayed 1 night. $100 cleaning fee for 1 night is a joke. The room was clean and nice but not worth it for a nights stay. On top of that, you takeout your own trash and run the dishwasher before you leave, If they adjusted cleaning fees based on length of stay, it would be reasonable for one night and short term stays. The parking garage lacks air flow or ventilation, so there is a heavy smell of fuel fumes in the garage. Sorry, can't recommend unless you don't care about the money and only care about the location. read more

So I rented unit 8834 at the Springs in Keystone Colorado. I have stayed at that condo resort many times. I was and always has been a ski-in/ski out. except this year as there is a new condo building going up and they have blocked off the direct access to the lifts and village and it was not advertised in the rental still charging full price. The condo unit itself has not been maintained. the closet doors in the main master are all beat up news replaced. The gas fire place took 4 tries to get it started.. The kitchen is small and the microwave over the stove is too low and so it is hard to cook on the back burners. The internet for the TV was a mess. had to reboot the system every time you turned on the TV and with multiple attempts.. We then bootleg the system signal from the unit next to us... using their wireless and password.. The TV in the master was not useable as the screen was going bad... you could hear the audio but only got lines on the screen.. So I made a call to the Summit County Mountain Retreats and sent an email to the management asking for a discount and all I got was a reply. "sorry for the inconvenience". We stayed at Oro Grande in Keystone Colorado. Place was very clean from the moment we arrived in the lobby to our room. Check in instructions were excellent as well as the directions. We like to cook our meals and all pots and pans and dishes looked brand new. Outside grill was great and the porch was clean and excellent as well! We will definitely come back. read more

We had stayed February 2022 111 corinthian Circle # H Dillon Colorado for our week of riding/skiing. We arrived to an ice rink at our front entrance. The management company could not have cared less about this and did nothing to help . We had to do our own ice removal. We also arrived to dirty carpets (filthy) , dirty shower curtains (pink mold) , broken appliances (blender leaked). The couch pull out was unsleepable broken down mattress. The bathrooms had 1 toilet paper roll per bathroom ( really). The hot tub broken and out of service the whole week. There was no map of complex to show where to dump trash. It was like Easter egg hunt to find the trash dumpster/trash house for the complex. The day we were checking out which is 10:00 am the cleaning crew showed up at 9:30 and tried to hurry us up by waiting out side in their car with their kid running around outside making noise and they even walked into the unit to place there bag of stuff while we're packing up . The whole experience we had with Summit county Mountian Retreats was terrible. Poor customer service. We will never use them again . Worst management company by far . The only good thing of our trip was townhouse lactation and us leaving . read more

I made a reservation on VRBO. Definitely false advertising on the room. The shower curtain was really moldy in a dry climate. What do we pay cleaning fees for, especially during COVID? When was the last time this place was cleaned? The hair dryer didn't work. The VRBO app listed a Stove on the amenities, but we had a hot plate. When I reported about the fireplace, they told me to look for the switch. There was no switch. The fireplace wasn't even connected to the wall. It was for decoration. The elevator did not work in the sketchy parking garage. The parking garage had holes in the ceiling and had a dirty stairwell. When I reported the issues I didn't get an apology, just a "thanks for letting us know!" I left a review that has not shown on the VRBO app. Are they just showing the positive reviews? read more

We booked just one night at Expedition Station and everything was perfect. The directions to pick up the access cars after hours was accurate as well as the directions to the Condo. Charging customers for an early check-in and then holding a staff meeting for over an hour, in the middle of the day, when you know people are coming for their rental keys, is extremely frustrating. On the door, it said they would be right back at 2:10pm when I arrived there at 2pm. At 2:30p, a staff member taped an envelope on the door for someone and said they are still closed. Myself and 8 other people waited almost an HOUR in the hallway for a staff meeting (that we could all hear) ran way over it's time. No apologies when they finally opened. Why charge an early check-in fee and then close with not ONE staff member to hand out keys!?!? read more

House was as advertised! Clean, roomy and with a well appointed kitchen/dining area. The location was superb as it was close to the main streets and byways but still in s quiet neighbor hood! My sister booked the Buffalo Lodge #8370 for a one night first annual sisters reunion. The pictures I share don't do it justice. It was perfect! This place could easily sleep 10+ people! The back bedroom has twin queen size bunk beds plus a trundle bed. My younger sister took that room and didn't want to sleep on the lower bunk because the upper bed was quite close so suddenly sitting up at night could be give you a knock on the head. ‍And she didn't dare sleep on the upper bunk for fear she'd fall out even though it looked to have adequate railing. So she slept on the trundle bed and said it was comfy. She had a bathroom right off her bed area. I had the middle bedroom which had a queen size bed with crisp white bedding and nice artwork on the wall. A nice bathroom was in the same bedroom. My other sister took the first bedroom and had to go across the hall to her bathroom. The horror! Each bedroom had its own tv. Great living room with a giant tv and comfy couches. The two side chairs didn't really fit with the decor and were not that comfortable. Most of the artwork was great however there was a picture of a basket of puppies in the living room which didn't quite fit in ‍ The kitchen was fully equipped with everything most people would need. Our only issue was that the toaster was broken. There was a convenient pad of maintenance slips that could be used to report any issues so I completed one for the toaster There was a nice balcony overlooking the ice skating rink which was not in operation when we were there. Most of the restaurants in this "village" were closed or had limited food as the ski season was just starting that weekend. Fine with us since we don't like crowds. We just drove into Dillon and ate at Pug Ryan's Brewery (see review). I have to knock this down one star due to the parking garage. Very confusing signage so we drove around multiple times before we figured it out. Update: the owner responded and said the parking garage is controlled by the ski resort so I changed my rating to 5 stars. My sister wouldn't tell us how much she paid but I looked it up when I got home and was pleasantly surprised - as big as this place is and with everybody pitching in, this place is highly affordable in my opinion and I would definitely visit this or something offered by this company many times. read more

More than enough room to fit us all comfortably and when we asked to add a 6th night stay they took off 20%. Great communication from our host. Everything was within a 15 min drive. My family and I enjoyed the few days spent in Frisco. The townhome was newly renovated. The neighborhood was quiet and close to all the activities and restaurants. It was a 3 story townhome (loft on 3rd floor), so the spacing was great for traveling with teens. This and the spiral stairs might be a challenge with small children, but perfect for older kids and adults. Summit County Mountain Retreats If you care about the safety of your family, I would not rent from Summit County Mountain Retreats. We rented Unit 3073 in the Timbers. The gas stove was in a dangerous condition. Two of the burners did not work, the gas would turn on, but they would not light. The knobs on the stove were replacements, they did not turn off correctly and you could not tell if the gas was in the on or off position. I thought they were off, but then I would continually smell gas. I had called maintenance, but no one was sent for over an hour and a half. I let the rental company know I had called 911 and then amazingly the maintenance man shows up. We had to open the doors and windows and evacuate the unit. Reading through other reviews, it seems there have been other issues with gas in the units that went unheeded by management. We were in the condo an additional four days and the incorrect/dangerous knobs still had not been replaced. Then, on top of that, the elevator was down a significant amount of time. Two young boys had been trapped in the elevator; one man slipped on the wet concrete steps carrying his granddaughter down the steps in front of us and we had to carry children, skis and large suitcases down three flights of stairs upon checkout. The dishwasher was clogged and leaked all over the kitchen floor; dresser drawers would not stay shut and would roll fully out; and the jets in the jetted tub did not work. read more

Great location, clean space. I stayed in River Run Village which is conveniently located in Keystone, just 10 minutes form A-Basin. I had a 2-bedroom/2-bathroom condo for 4 days. The smaller bedroom had a bunk bed with a queen bed on the bottom and a twin on the top. There was a TV in the room but the way that the bed was positioned you couldn't watch it. The larger bedroom had a king bed and was very comfortable. There was a small dining table in the space but you had to squeeze past it to enter the larger bedroom. It would have been better with a little less furniture in the main area so you could actually use that table. There was a nice little balcony with seating so we could people watch, which was nice. We never made it into the hot tub but they looked warm and relaxing. We came into the rental very late and had to pick up our key in a different location which was odd but not too inconvenient, even in our sleep deprived state. Overall, we had a great experience, cooked in the kitchen, slept in the beds, and skied on Memorial Day weekend in CO! What's better than that?! We will definitely stay with Summit County again. read more

My partner and I stood here for 3 days. The house was beautiful and clean. The hot tub was awesome and fun. Wish it had AC because even though it is the mountains, it does get pretty hot. the home was almost 80 degrees inside and that was with the fans running. Also there are loud birds chirping at 3am (Not the rental companies fault obviously lol) so having to keep the windows open because of the no AC in the house made for sleepless nights. The toilet in the master bathroom was running all night and didn't flush, HOWEVER when I reached out to let them know they were willing to come out right away. but there was 2 other toilets that worked so it wasn't a big deal. The rental company was super nice and helpful with everything. The grill is a charcoal grill we did go buy some to cook our food, since it was way too hot to cook inside. But all in all it was a nice rental and quiet neighborhood. Also seen a moose in our driveway ! We kept inside of course :) Also wish check in was a little sooner than 4:30pm it makes it hard for out of towners to sit around all day with really not too much to do. I stayed in two different condos/apartments. Both were very clean and had everything I needed to cook, shower, etc. The common areas, hot tubs, and pools were awesome in both places I stayed. Definitely added to the experience! The check-in process was very smooth but a little inconvenient. It requires you to go to a different location to pick up the key, and you cannot pickup the key until it is time for check in. I stayed in River Run Village, and went to a late lunch at one of the restaurants there when I arrived -- then had to leave and drive to pickup the key. It is not a far drive, they do seem to be open to early check in, so maybe just ask them ahead of time and you can avoid this. read more
