We stopped here after camping in the high Uintas. Walking up the sidewalk, we could smell what we were in for and it smelled GOOD! Rivaled the best pizza our group of 4 have ever had! Quality cheese, soft & chewy dough, and flavor flavor flavor! We got the meat lovers and Hawaiian pizza. These aren't the cheapest pizzas, ($32/large) but you will taste the difference in fresh quality ingredients. Kit worth every penny. Don't forget to try the jalapeño cheese rolls with their HOMEMADE ranch sauce. 10/10! Great friendly service too. We were greeted by two people behind the counter. I absolutely love Summit Pizza Company. Anytime I find myself in Kamas I like to stop here for a pizza. I came here on a Saturday evening and the wait is about an hour which is typical. I felt really bad for the woman working at the counter because she was taking orders, she was getting ice cream, and she was also processing the to go orders. It was obvious somebody had called out sick because she was doing everything on her own. This pizza is always delicious. I got the combo with a side of ranch. I will come by next time I'm in town. I love that they have an outdoor patio now and it allows dogs. read more

We grabbed Summit Pizza after coming down from the Unitas. We did an order for pickup which said about an hour but only took about 20 minutes. The 8' pizzas are perfect size for a single person, with 4 slices. The doodles were delicious, we got jalapeño and cheese and I preferred the cheese better. This place is not what it once was. I was here with some friends today, and I felt like I was in a place that was going downhill. The food is and has been poor for quite some time now. The sauce tastes like it came out of a can. I'd be surprised if they used a flavor packet, it has no taste. The service just felt dead. Everybody behind the counter except for the younger girl seemed like they wanted nothing more than to quit. The ambiance felt similar-- happy management, but unhappy employees. Compared to last Monday and Friday when I came in, there were less staff. I hope they aren't firing their employees. Overall, very poor quality food, awful service, and (proably) bad management. The new ownership isn't taking care of the place like Dan did. Me and my buddies are local and won't be coming back. read more

This place sucks and for the following reasons: 1. Only half of the items on their menu is actually available. 2. The pizza is pretty mediocre. Under cooked and canned ingredients. Not much better than what you get in a gas station. 3. Miserable staff and just act "put out" and obviously hates their job and customers. 4. Menu shows all the great shakes and ice cream styles. Dan L. We think you need to reinvent yourself or sell to one that will. Walked in and ordered a pizza, on return from a drive in the the Uintas, evening, July 3. Inside tables mostly dirty or occupied we cleaned a table and sat while waiting for our pizza. Now the only ones in the house, ALL tables but ours left with various levels of trash and food from previous diners. GArbage cans overflowing inside and out, no place to dispose of your trash? The young man that took our order finally arrived to ask what we were waiting for and what our name was then brought us our pizza. As we were sharing we simply asked for 2 plates and were immediately and abruptly told, WE ARE CLOSED at which I asked, can we have some plates which were delivered to remind us that WE ARE CLOSED. I then asked if I had this correct, ARE YOU KICKING US OUT I ASKED? No replay, we proceeded to the outdoor seating area, tables filthy, trays, trash and grossly overflowing trash. To realize the "STAFF" remained inside for the next 35 minutes while we sat and ate, we could have stayed inside the entire time. Dejavu says this was carbon copy of my last visit 10-15 years ago. Top down management either untrained, non existant or just doesn't care. Rude and childish behavior by staff, fully unacceptable. NEVER AGAIN, you have taken the last dollar I will ever spend in your est. Don't pay attention to their alleged "AWARDS" posted on the side of the building. A little training goes a long way and it seems you have a long way to go with your training! p.s. undercooked, flavorless pizza dough simply taste like flower and water. Quite disappointing place after 3 visits; it is the only pizza place in the area. I orders a Calzone and salad to split with a friend, and with two sodas it cost $35.00. Much to my dismay the Calzone was the size of a hot-pocket that you throw in the microwave....and it was just a soggy. The salad wasn't bad, but when you go to an Italian restaurant, you rxpect great pizza and Calzone.....not here.....save your money and get a gas station hot-pocket for $2.50 before you go here. read more

This was delicious! I've never been to visit Kamas. Came up for a work project today and the customer told me we can't leave town without trying this pizza place. So glad she recommended it! I tried the combo personal pan. The owner stopped by to ask how it was and offered us a free order of cheese doodles! These were amazing! So light and fluffy with just the right amount of cheese. Loved dipping them in ranch dressing. If I'm ever up here again, definitely stopping by even just for takeout! read more

I love their pizza, but they need to do a better job of training their employees. I checked my pizza before I left and it looked like a pepperoni pizza rather than the combo that I ordered. The guy behind the counter said the other meats were under the cheese. I accepted his explanation and took the pizza home. There were no other meats on the pizza other than pepperoni. I appreciated the fact that when I called to complain they refunded my money, but it is annoying to be lied to by by their staff. read more

The pizza was actually good, but this place was Very dirty. Flies everywhere, garbage can piled high and over flowing, tables sitting with piles of peoples' previous food on them. It's reputation preceded the visit... We were in town for a family reunion and were told we had to stop by Summit Inn Pizza. A couple of first impressions; 1. The place is pretty small... It looks like they have a dining room upstairs but very small lobby where you order and then six small tables in the back 2. The guy who took our order was super friendly and nice; he was quick to recommend things off the menu... I love it when people who work there are quick and decisive when you ask for an opinion 3. The menu is pretty simple. No individual pizza, salad, drink combos which I didn't like... 3. The beverage selection is solid. I have to give props to a place like this that is in a small town and yet does such a fantastic job. Kudos to the owner and staff. I'll be back next time I'm in the area read more

We haven't been to Summit Pizza for 5 or 6 years, simply because it's so far from home. If you're ever camping or out recreating on the Mirror Lake Highway or the Kamas area, head on over for a nice warm bite. Today we went snowmobiling up near Soapstone and it was decided that we should skip the lunch we brought in favor of some local fare. My husband was worried that there might be a decline in quality since it had been so long since we were last there, but I'm happy to report it was just as good as before. We ordered a half and half pizza, half Buffalo and half combo. It was great. The crust is not too thick or thin and plenty of cheese. We also ordered some breadsticks which may have been my favorite part. We had some Jackson Hole Sodas as well; the Huckleberry is divine, my husband had the Strawberry Rhubarb which was also great (and a couple to go). Give 'em a whirl, you won't regret it. read more

Really enjoyed our stop here for lunch after we went on a hike in a nearby canyon. The staff were super friendly and the pizza was really good. They were out of a lot of options after the holiday but what we had was great. Quick service too! It was $40 for two pizzas and some cheese bread. The only negative was that the unisex bathroom was rather nasty. No paper towels and an older style hand dryer that didn't work. read more

Did not know their hours and showed up at 7:50pm (they close at 8) Two other customers followed us in at the same time Lady who appeared to be owner or manager was truly not friendly. Had a pizza from summit last night. It was maybe one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. The crust was great, the sauce was Devine, the toppings were generous (I got the large combination). The price however was crazy expensive. $28 plus tip was too expensive. I would have happily paid maybe $22 for the pizza and felt like I got a good value. I might return in the future because the pizza was that good, but not sure. Overall it was great if you don't mind paying $34 for a single pizza. After reading Dan's comment on my review, I see and appreciate his point about using quality ingredients. So, I am changing my rating to 5 stars. Like I said, it was probably the best pizza I've ever eaten. To be fair, it was just me eating the pizza and I did get four meals out of it. read more

I have tried summit pizza 3 times now and each time tends to repeat itself after giving it several "second shots." A 12" pizza and a root beer at $20 is excessive! The margarita had a burnt bottom and unfortunately asking for ranch (which in my experience come free at most pizza places) said that it comes at a cost. Overall I have felt multiple times that we were an inconvenience. If you're driving through Kamas it would best to eat elsewhere. read more

We usually stop by summit inn whenever we are passing through the town of Kamas. The pizza is good and they are usually quick with the orders. We always order a few miles before town and it's usually ready for us by the time we drive by. Love the pepperoni pizza and a lot of their pizzas with chicken on them. Chicken bacon ranch, and bbq chicken for example. I'd you're ever stopping by Kamas give this place a try. read more

Contamination issues here. The last time I ordered from this pizza joint I found someone else's receipt in my salad.. gross. There is a whole bunch of high school kids that work here, lack of management and horrible customer service. I drive an extra 20 mins to a much better pizza spot to avoid going here. read more
