My usual order is the chicken parm which I believe is true perfection, no notes. It is perfectly crispy, just the right amount of sauce and cheese. The flavors are perfectly blended. Today I went out of the box and ordered the chicken cheesesteak. I did this because I saw on the menu that this restaurant has its roots in my neighboring hometown. If you're from my part of Jersey then I won't have to tell you how they do it right. Unfortunately the roll, while good, was not correct. Also this was chunks of cooked chicken, a cheesesteak should be thin slices that are chopped on the grill after the cheese has started to melt. As a Jersey girl, my expectations were dashed. Setting that aside it was still a decent sandwich, just not a cheesesteak. Next time I'm in Pennsgrove I'll get a cheesesteak, in Park City I'll order the Chicken Parm. read more

Maxwell's was a pretty decent American Italian restaurant. We caught the US World Cup game here, when they beat Bosnia-Herzegovina. It was a fun and tasty experience! The dining room has a casual, family-friendly feel that blends right into a sports-bar-style setup, with big windows, plenty of natural light, and a relaxed mix of families and folks catching the game all in one space. Service was on point and our drinks were full, as were our stomachs afterward. Speaking of the food, it was all hearty and flavorful, though some of the portion sizes were pretty small for the price charged. Especially the ravioli, which only had five pieces but was still like $15. The cheese garlic bread was also really skimpy, barely enough for a few people. However, the pizzas we saw looked pretty amazing. Since they moved from the original location I see no reason to come here. They were not open on time. Once they did unlock the door and let us in they seemed not just indifferent but irritated by our presence. The pizza was not even close to what I remember from the old place. Women coming to Maxwell's for many years as we live in the Los Angeles area, but we visit Park city a few times of year! This is definitely our family favorite and we love meeting up with our friends here. This is a great place for groups. They have big booths that can see up to 10 people. They have tons of TVs, so we always enjoy watching sports, especially the university of Utah football games!! Not Leo is there a pizza excellent but their salad salads are great. We always get the house salad and Caesar salad salad. We also got the chicken piccata for the first time and it was probably one of the best chicken piccata I've ever had.!! the kids always loved their cheesy garlic bread to start! By the time we got back to our condo (5 minutes) the whole pie was only like warm with solidified cheese. Salad was just a pile of lettuce with some Roman croutons. The food took a surprisingly long time considering how few patrons there were. As far as food goes, the Chicken Parigiana was just about the most disappointing 17 dollar sandwich I've ever had. Alternatively the "A Bronx Tale" pizza was good. Not the very best but worth the money for the size. My wife got the build your own pasta gnocchi and enjoyed it. When the sun is low in the sky around dinner time the deck is the worst unless you have the luxury of enough umbrellas so that you don't cook and you're not blinded. To have wait staff want to argue about umbrella placement is a no go. Child at the table ordered 10-15 minutes before adults, their food came after adults and after we asked for it. The a bit later came back for the starters and then the entrees. I would definitely recommend their pizza! The pizza was the hit of the party! I also ordered the Caesar salad and a build your own pasta to share with my husband and the pasta was so good! By far the best Alfredo I've had. The service could have been better, but they did what they could I guess on a busy night. We were seated at 2 big booths so we all didn't get to sit together which kind of sucked. The back corner where we were the lights didn't work so we had to use our flashlights on our phones to read the menu and pay the bill. That wasn't fun. Roasted tomatoes were not roasted, pizza could not see any sauce and it was bland, mozzarella cheese was not fresh and the park was store bought shelf stable, Philly barley had vegetables. With all the penny pinching done in the kitchen the price was a rip off. $70 for an appetizer, sandwich and pizza of sub par food so they lost another start for this. The buratta was nice. Hands down the best "New York Style" Pizza you will get in Park City. The sweet slightly tangy sauce, the large size, even the grease puddles on the pepperoni is legit. The dough could be stretched a little thinner, but it's not a deal breaker. I'm an East Coast transplant who spent endless weekends in my youth partying in NYC now permanently living in Park City. Ive had my fair share of true NYC pizza and Italian food. I've tried every pizza restaurant here for a taste of home and Maxwell's is at the top of the list. Don't like pizza? Try their famous 10oz meatball. If you're looking for traditional Neapolitan style, however, I would recommend you try Versante. Maxwell's is one of the few places that's open late (11pm) that's not on Main St. Huge bar with pool table and darts. Plenty of parking and the shuttle stop is close. read more
