This is our go-to spot for Disneyland trips! We use to stay at a motel on the southwest side of the parks, but after we discovered Suncoast we never went back to that other dump! We are always warmly greeted by the staff and a wonderful sea-side fragrance whenever we are in the lobby. Rooms are spacious and the cleaning staff is excellent! The bar prices are a little steep, but they also have a little convenience store full of snacks, drinks, and trinkets if you'd rather not hang out in the dining area. I honestly didn't want to review this place because I didn't want "our secret new spot" getting too popular. Though, the deserve the credit for having such a great hotel! read more

My daughter and I stayed here 9/24/22. I stopped by at 7:30am and was able to do a pre-check in, in order to get a parking pass for the day. I didn't get the lady's name that checked me in but she was very friendly and helpful. When we got back to the room at 4:30pm, I already had a room (because of the pre-check in that morning) and again, the staff at the front desk was equally friendly and helpful. I went back downstairs after we got all settled in our room to look around and have a few drinks a the bar. I was very impressed by the whole downstairs area. Both bartenders were awesome. My only negative thing (which is really not that big of a deal) is that the cabinet the microwave and mini fridge were in was very rickety. The doors seemed like they were going to fall off every time I opened them. It's a small hotel and we felt very cozy and comfortable there. My daughter and I are planning on going to California Adventure next year, and I will definitely being staying at this hotel again. read more

So...... My first impression this hotel was amazing walking in. I felt like I was in a five star hotel, and that's about it. We got to the room. My wife wanted to take a bath. The plumbing fixtures were broken. The drain wasn't even connected anyway we stuffed a rag in the drain to keep the water in the tub And figured hey just a fluke. Went downstairs to eat dinner and that's where it went bad. Not sure what happened with the restaurant, but the food was completely terrible. The steak wasn't even cooked properly the chips and guacamole were terrible. Chips were stale. The street tacos were dry. Nothing I would've expected from a good restaurant. The only thing that was cooked really well was the asparagus. Also, the temperature was approximately 62°. in the restaurant. We were freezing. The temperature outside was 58. I can understand that the cooks in the kitchen were hot and the weight staff was moving around quickly and they could've been warm, low temperatures made them feel good. If I was to do it again, I would eat somewhere else. All in all I would give them another chance the room was nice except for the small problems, but I think that's not an issue. But I say I don't know what happened to that restaurant that was embarrassing for them. read more

We have stayed at this hotel five or more times in the past 5+ years. We even stayed there when it had a different name & owner. The last trip my boys took me and it was awesome ! The staff is impeccable! The rooms are beautiful and clean! The smell when you walk in the lobby makes you feel like you're at the beach! The pool area is amazing! They have a nice small store, a bar area that also serves food. The shower amenities are very nice. The parking is safe and secure. The front desk staff is very friendly and will attend to whatever needs you might have. It's awesome because you can order walmart.com and they will hold your food for you until you get back from the park. The management loves to hear your feedback and definitely supports their staff and creates a great environment for guest. Can't wait to go back. read more

Well I asked why my shower only has one half glass door leaving a wide open space on the other side. Water gets everywhere when you shower. It makes no sense. The guy at the front desk wasn't sure and someone will check. Today it's still the same and I slipped and fell on the bathroom floor. It's not safe and no one is doing anything about it. read more

Good not great hotel. Very clean, staff was friendly. Very nice 1st floor / entry / lobby. Nothing bad to say - but there are so many other options around and not much to single this out. We chose this because of the consistency of the Hilton brand. Suggest to keep to the area around Disney but look for best reviews and deals. Stayed 1 full week here. We rented two rooms and both had wide open floor areas, as if they had been renovated larger extended-stay suites. Like oddly large, with overly wide open floor space (you could post a tent). This made the lighting off - imagine all lamps about 12 ft from each other but no overhead - just did not seem well thought out. Otherwise AC control was great, all furnishings clean, excellent water pressure in bathrooms! Beds were very comfortable, pillows were good, heavy but fluffy, bedding was clean. Maid servicing during stay is by request. Outdoor pool was large and clean, a hot spa as well. Really nice but we did not have a chance to use them. Outside decorations were fun touch - really liked the beach/surf theme throughout the hotel. Odd and disappointed they do not offer coffee in the lobby like other Hiltons, really slows the morning. The bar/food service is mostly cold items or what one can heat in a microwave and way overpriced - not sure why they bother. Although we often wanted to grab a bite, just could not stomach a $5 drip coffee, $1.75 banana, or $15 pancakes when there are better nearby. If they offered some simple complimentary breakfast items, it would go a long way. The small convenience shop though was well stocked and helped in a crunch for a Kind Bar or juice. Parking was no issue - gated, so never a shortage, but could not get our key to open gates despite several reprogram attempts by the front desk. Minor inconvenience though - you just have to buzz the desk every time leaving or entering. Great location - within 1/2 mi of Disneyland. Very walkable to main gate. And you can see the nightly fireworks at a distance from one side of the building. Mix of businesses around - from 7-11/IHOP/McD and local eateries to GardenWalk and higher cost restaurants - for all interests. In the end though we much preferred eating away from the immediate Disney area ($$) for better value and higher quality. GardenWalk nearby was a nice distraction, decent restaurants if you like the chains, House of Blues venue has some good music scheduled - son had a good time attending one night. Driving was super convenient - easy to get to and from 5 and 101 and from there all over LA. Big plus for that. read more

I'm so happy I found this hotel. It was offering a great rate for the days we were there. This hotel is pretty new. It's been there for a little over a year according to the front desk. Everything looked brand new and spacious. Very close to the Disney parks and offers shuttle service. They also offer free parking; a good, not great complimentary breakfast; and cookies in the evening. The room was big enough for me and my husband. I love the bathroom decor. Beautifully modern and whimsical tile. Service was wonderful. The staff looked happy all the time. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who is looking for a comfortable, clean place to stay at an awesome price. read more

I loved staying at this beautiful boutique hotel. The hotel is a very short walk to the Disneyland park, approximately a 10 minute walk. There is a paid shuttle that runs to the park and it leaves from just outside the hotel. The hotel has ample parking for $30 a day and this fee is included in the cost of your room. Be sure to ask them to remove this fee if you will not be parking on site. There is a beautiful outdoor space with a pool and ping park ping table. There is a Disney themed theater room downstairs along with a bar and breakfast buffet. There is also an awesome gym on site. There is also a store on site with souvenirs, snacks/food/ice cream, and toiletries. The room was spotless, it was extremely clean with additional towels and bedding. The bed was so comfy as well. The hotel is quite and and well kept. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They will hold your belongings after checkout if you are going to the park. They will issue a claim ticket to be presented when you return. I checked my bag at 7 am and returned for it at 11 pm after my day at the park. Overall, I would stay here again. read more

Drove 8 hours to go to Disneyland. Prepaid for hotel weeks in advance. Called the hotel ahead of arrival to let them know I will be at Disneyland all day and will be checking in around midnight. I was told everything would be fine. Showed up after a long day at Disney to be told I will not be checking in because I am 19 years old. (Which in the state of California is illegal) After arguing with the hotel clerk about how they can't kick us out to the curb in the middle of night when I prepaid for the hotel he finally let me and my girlfriend stay for the night on the condition we'll be kicked out in the morning. So in the morning I went to talk to the manager who told me we could stay but didn't apologize for any of the problems or stress they caused. They should not advertise there hotel as being close to Disney or being family friendly when they treat legal adults like trash! read more

I stayed here because the hotel I normally stay at when visiting the area was sold out. And honestly, I was shocked at the amenities and facilities that this hotel offers. The hotel beds are the same as all the other Hilton hotels, which are extremely fluffy and comfortable. And the rooms all have modern technology, including updated bathroom fixtures/lighting and smartphone-controlled room lights and TVs. Also, everything smells REALLY good. Not sure what they use, but I definitely want a bottle of it! And if you're like me, good air conditioning is non-negotiable. Although this hotel uses wall units, they are powerful and not overly loud. Despite this place looking like it would be a typical small/local hotel, it really provides so much more, all at a great price! read more

Stayed here for 4 nights in April 2022. It seems like a pretty new hotel -- new construction, clean, etc. So the first impression is pretty good. However, the pillows stank -- woke up one morning had to wash my face and hands because they smelled like the stinky pillow. And the bath towels should be replaced -- they often had dark spots on them. And you need to ask each day for any replacement towels, shampoo, soap, etc. There is no automatic room service. The food situation is really bad too for lunch and dinner. Breakfast was passable, but you won't want it everyday. I guess there are plenty of options within walking distance, but when you have little ones you just want to get something decent at the hotel. read more

We were bummed about something we were told that wasn't true and wasn't fixed however the manager Leo made it right for us (refunded one of our nights) and made it worth the stay. Disneyland hotels can be tough to ascertain over the internet, so what your usually left with are reviews like this from Yelp or brand familiarity and trust from prior stays at hotel chains. This was no different for us, the pros from this selection was the close proximity to the park and reasonable rates. Initially when I booked it was a Radisson property, which I had stayed in other locations before and felt is was average so went ahead, unbeknownst to me the property was undergoing a change in ownership to a Hilton property, and wondered what that might do to rates or availability. After a couple hiccups in reservations the manager Michelle made all of our arrangements personally and ensured our stay was seamless and enjoyable. The property, lobby and general bathroom are spotless clean, and parking is close and well lit. The walk to Disneyland is a long block on a safe and well lit street. My wife had some special accommodations needed due to a foot injury and Michella and her friendly staff were very helpful and accommodating. The pool and spa are wonderful after a long day at the park and are open until midnight usually. They have breakfast buffet in the morning with cook your own waffles, cereal and basic buffet items (eggs, bacon, potatoes) which is the only area that would need some improvement from our entire experience. Overall a great stay- would highly recommend and we most certainly will be back! read more

We stayed here during Star Wars Celebration and liked the hotel a lot. It's comfy and has a cute beachy vibe. Pool is surprisingly large and the water is warm (yes, Lisa). Service at the front desk was friendly and helpful. However, the room didn't have enough hooks or towel racks. There was only one hook and it was in the shower. Also, the shower's door-less design allowed water to splash out onto the bathroom floor. No room service (that I knew of). The only hot food was at the bar, and the breakfast was pricey and not great. If there were a coffee joint next door, this wouldn't be a big issue, but the closest places are not really that close. read more

Pleasantly surprised with this hotel! We stayed here for our trip to Disneyland and it was practically perfect in every way. Not too expensive, but very clean with comfortable beds and exceptionally quiet. Quiet like we didn't hear any other guests, not in the morning as they left or in the evening when they were coming home. No doors slamming or people running in the hallways. My daughter and her fiance are staying here because they went to Disneyland. I was to come and get her and take her to my house for the night. They got separated at Disneyland which is a service MESS right now. A very nice front desk guy offered that I come wait in the lobby. I have been waiting and communicating with my daughter and offering to come there and help. But right now Im waiting in the lobby until further instructions. Lobbys are public space. I asked the desk to let the fiance know we were trying to locate him if he came in. I didnt want to miss him while I was using the lobby restroom. Enter ANTONIO coming on his shift. He IMMEDIATELY got officious, unfriendly and told he that he "cant have just anyone sitting in the lobby" that I was "free to go sit in my car" This is the rudest, , insensitive uncaring excuse for an employee I have ever met. I've stayed MANY hotels, as I travel a lot. Most are VERY helpful. This man is the most anti hospitality person I have ever encountered. He is making a bad frightening situation WORSE. if I ever would have stayed here, I know better now and so will my daughter and her fiance. It doesn't matter at all that I was not staying here this time I was waiting for people who were and it's a tough situation made so much worse by his horrible attitude.. he treated me like a homeless person! I drove all the way from Marina Del Rey to pick my daughter up And hes treating me like I'm going to mess up his lobby or something by sitting down on a chair. Mediocre hotel, mediocre cleanliness, and jacuzzi is always broken with towels never being restocked or any issues never resolved. The location is great though....? Spent over 2,000 dollars and a week stay-- Mish (the "manager") and Fernando who was the man that was up front to check us in and out, bad mouthed my husband and I when we voiced our concerns and unhappiness with the property. Manager did nothing while hearing how horrible we were talked to and offered no type of resolution. we had to fight and call corporate (which took another few days and hours) to get THE MINIMUM type of compensation. All around waste of time when guests are treated so horribly. Wasted so much time of our stay trying to be heard and understood. read more

I expected a lot from this hotel after reading so many good reviews. I'll start with the booking, I booked online and received an email that I could virtually check in a day before my stay, I thought this was nice so I got the app as the email stated. I received notification that there was an issue with my check in so when I arrived I went to the front desk and explained that I had never used there app and wasn't sure about the notification issue. The front desk staff was not overly friendly or helpful in even trying to explain the app, he just said he would make me a key card instead. He also explained I would see a $50 charge per day on my card for incidentals which they would take the parking fee from if the room was left in good condition which seems normal. The room was decent nothing special, it had a musty smell and the shower seemed to have some issues. We went for a Disney stay so we wouldn't be in the room much anyway. If you're going for Disney it's a quick 15 minute walk to the park which is nice. On the last morning of our stay I went down to the bar where they have a small menu for breakfast. Once again the staff in this area were not friendly and one girl even commented that she was too busy to help out with a cup of coffee as she wandered around the area. Two breakfast sandwiches and a coffee and juice were around $34 so it's definitely not cheap and the food is whatever but it's convenient. Just before check out I was reviewing my charges and noticed there was an extra $32 charge from the hotel along with the daily incidental charges. When checking out I asked the front desk person to please explain that charge. There were two employees, one girl said she doesn't see the charge, I then pulled up my charges on my bank app to show them, then another employee said I was getting close to going over "the incidental charges". She said this extra charge was because I had ordered something to my room, I did not charge anything to my room until about an hour before and this charge showed up around 5am so that could not be right. Then she said the charge was just in case. After going in circles with them one of them said the charge will probably just fall off. I did not feel like either of them were even sure what the charge was for and kept changing their response. The 2 stars is for the location of the hotel but the service here is definitely lacking. This is not my first time staying in a hotel; I know there are always extra charges but when they have no explanation of the charges that is ridiculous, I'm currently waiting to see if I need to contact my bank. Won't be returning to this hotel. read more

This is a great little getaway for family's, couples and friends. I came here recently and it wasn't crowded at all. The pool and hotel was very clean. Friendly staff. The first person that greeted us was Joey. Fantastic attitude. He was very accommodating and made my friends and I feel super welcomed. It's a place to sleep and that's really it. Nothing special here. Staff doesn't care, just there for a paycheck. Room is nice but really smelly. If you're hilton honors don't expect anything. I'm a diamond member and I'm supposed to get points and breakfast. Front desk didn't mention anything had to ask question after question to get any info. And when I asked I was responded with attitude like I was an inconvenience. Also was over charged as they didn't add my FB credit correctly and when I asked about it they just shrugged. Also I paid to have a 6pm late check out and I was checked out at 12 and still charged for the late check out. Keys didn't work anymore was locked out and lady at front desk treated me like an inconvenience. It's a bed to sleep in and that's it. read more

We stayed at this hotel during a big family trip, our room was a good size for 3 adults. The fridge and microwave came in handy because they don't offer complimentary breakfast. I don't understand the need to charge $30 a day for parking when they don't offer a shuttle to the theme parks. Not to mention the fact that you couldn't get in or out of the parking lot without having to "call" or just take a ticket EVERY TIME. Kids swam in the pool and sat in the hot tub and ended up with chemical burns and when we brought it up to the staff, they blew us off. I did try a burger from the bar and I was impressed. With so many hotels around the Disneyland area, I think next time I would look for more benefits (park shuttle, complimentary breakfast, lowered parking fee) I expect more from Hiltons. read more

Me and my mom stayed here about 2/3 years ago and we had a paranormal experience , so it was around 12 am we arrived at the hotel and got settled in whatever , i was in a bath and i heard the door knob rattling as if someone was trying to open the door and not even knocking but we didn't think much of it and thought maybe it was the neighbors door but the doorknob shaking kept coming back every 10 mins (this happened like 3-4 times) , but i still didn't pay much attention at the time cause i was on my phone and thought i was hearing stuff , and then it happened again and i started to get a bit scared so i moved into my moms bed while she was sleeping at the time and she randomly woke up a few mins later and when she did the lights started dimming and brightening and kept doing so for a few seconds until they turned off completely , the whole room went pitch black , i got chills and we knew at that moment their was a spirt in our room that didn't want us there , so we immediately packed our stuff and got the hell up out of there lol, we told the staff at the front desk , didn't even get a refund or anything and the drove 7 hours back to home at 1am that's how scared we were lol. read more

This hotel was terrible there was a smell in the room stains on the bed sheets. Our room key was not working and when we went down to the front desk they said they had fixed our key. Again back at our room and the key still would not work. The lady at the front desk advised our party that there was no manager on site and that we would have to alert her when we needed to get into the room and she would walk up with us and let us in. When I expressed that was an inconvenience to our party she stated we would have to walk by the front desk every time anyways. Our party decided to check out and go stay at the VIV across the freeway. Would not recommend to traveling guests. read more

Got a deal on Hotwire and decided to take a shot on this place. I was a bit skeptical bc this is a converted country inn, but overall very satisfied with our stay. Perfect spot close to Disneyland for families or couples. Close enough to walk back and forth throughout the day and it was amazing to take a mid day Disney break to hang out by the pool when the crowds got too big. Pros: HUGE KING ROOM, decent pool, within about a 10 minute walk of the Disneyland harbor side gate, great customer service, clean, close to garden walk. Cons: Parking was tough like any hotel near Disneyland on a week...but they make you pay 25 bucks for a lot that was definitely way over capacity. read more
