This hotel was terrible there was a smell in the room stains on the bed sheets. Our room key was not working and when we went down to the front desk they said they had fixed our key. Again back at our room and the key still would not work. The lady at the front desk advised our party that there was no manager on site and that we would have to alert her when we needed to get into the room and she would walk up with us and let us in. When I expressed that was an inconvenience to our party she stated we would have to walk by the front desk every time anyways. Our party decided to check out and go stay at the VIV across the freeway. Would not recommend to traveling guests. read more

Me and my mom stayed here about 2/3 years ago and we had a paranormal experience , so it was around 12 am we arrived at the hotel and got settled in whatever , i was in a bath and i heard the door knob rattling as if someone was trying to open the door and not even knocking but we didn't think much of it and thought maybe it was the neighbors door but the doorknob shaking kept coming back every 10 mins (this happened like 3-4 times) , but i still didn't pay much attention at the time cause i was on my phone and thought i was hearing stuff , and then it happened again and i started to get a bit scared so i moved into my moms bed while she was sleeping at the time and she randomly woke up a few mins later and when she did the lights started dimming and brightening and kept doing so for a few seconds until they turned off completely , the whole room went pitch black , i got chills and we knew at that moment their was a spirt in our room that didn't want us there , so we immediately packed our stuff and got the hell up out of there lol, we told the staff at the front desk , didn't even get a refund or anything and the drove 7 hours back to home at 1am that's how scared we were lol. read more

Stayed the night here, unrelated to Disney. First I will say that the staff is super nice and the hotel was very clean, including the room. Bed was comfy. Enjoyed the robotic snack service to your room. However, $35 for parking is steep. The room did not come with any bar soap, just "facial" soap that you had to use for your hands, face, and body. Also had to pay for WiFi, which was a first for us. One of the towels was not fully clean. Overall, I would come back here again but just much more aware and prepared. read more

We've stayed here before when we visited Disney in 2018. The hotel was nice and clean so we stayed here again this summer for our week trip to SoCal. The facility is now owned by Hilton so it's changed a bit but still equally clean and friendly. The staff all were very accommodating which we appreciated. The hotel is in walking distance to Disneyland. At night, you can see the fireworks from the front entrance which the kids enjoyed. read more

I stayed here when they first opened. Impeccable service. They did something cute and sweet for my daughter's bday. Finally with Disney reopened, this was my immediate go to. First off - I called the hotel ahead of time to let her know we are celebrating a bday early. The guy responded - we do no such thing here and I've been here since the hotel opened. Well you did. And he responded with I'm the hotel manager and no we don't. Click. I should have cancelled my reservation then. But no. My daughter was set on staying here because it was magical last time. I even offered to get a bigger room at her other favorite hotel - the Hilton at the convention center. It went downhill at check in. Their staff treat you like you're bothering them by having the audacity to check in. Like she could not be any more rude. Parking is a sham. Last time they waived the fee, this time it's $30/night after resort fees and taxes. Our room was ok but maintenance definitely needs to step up. Cabinet was broken and it was a struggle getting to the fridge. The beds are still super uncomfortable. The hotel staff are not masked up and happily ride the elevator with you. My toddler kept asking what that smell was every time we walked to our room. Our floor was very 420 friendly. The only highlight was the bistro pizza. Their staff was friendly and approachable. The pool is large and nice but we didn't go in. We are supposed to get a food/bev credit and they didn't add that to our bill. Instead of being - we will fix that, they said don't come back. Ok. I rarely review hotels because there's rarely an issue. While it was a decent spot to stay in for my quick turn around trip, I do have a couple complaints. * when I checked in, I was given a price almost double the amount that I expected to pay. I was told that this was for incidentals. I said to the front desk rep thar the incidental coast was not disclosed at confirmation. He said "well, you can insert your card." When I told him that the incidental prices seemed excessive, he said "okay." And that was the end of that. Full disclosure: I'm completely aware that incidental fees are a thing. But I didn't appreciate being dismissed when I mentioned it doubling the cost of my room. * housekeeping never came by. I left for a 12 hour class and came back to a bed that was unmade. Fortunately I was so tired from being in class all day that I really didn't care much. But still, the bed should've been made. read more

Highly recommend! I'm very picky and this hotel didn't let us down. Extremely clean, very nice at the front desk, and an easy 10 minute walk to Disneyland, and right across from the garden walk for extra stores and dining. They even upgraded our room when we arrived just because we asked. I would book this hotel again no hesitations. PROS: -Close walk to Disney -Clean rooms, all upgraded -Huge Pool and spa open til midnight -Lots of parking -Complimentary parking with Disney travel booking(ours was free!) -bar in the lobby -great little grab and go store in the lobby with tons of stuff CONS: -My only con is there isn't much of a breakfast selection. I highly recommend this hotel. It's a 7 minute drive from Disney, it's incredibly clean, and always very quiet. It's the only place we will stay when visiting this area. Best of all is the curtains in the room keep the room super dark which is especially nice when traveling with kids. read more

Spent a well rested night here and it was definitely worth the price! I came to Disneyland for the day and had a hotels.com reward for a free night and decided to use it here the price of the room was around $120. There is also a $20 resort fee as well as a $100 deposit. Check in starts at 3pm and is supposed to go until midnight, but when I called to confirm they said that after 11pm they would prefer a call for a heads up. I had gone to the parks for the day and had decided to check in after the end of my days instead of in the middle. But the staff was very friendly! Check in and check out were super easy. There is free parking for cars registered with the hotel and they give you a permit to place on your dash. Breakfast is from 6:30-9:30 monday-friday and served a nice continental spread with bacon, waffles, scrambled eggs, and breakfast potatoes as well as oatmeal, cereal, toast and English muffins. The breakfast area seating is plentiful with some tables having charging ports. The rooms were nice and energy efficient in that your room card powered the room when places in the slot by the door. It had a microwave and refrigerator. The hotel also had a gym and pool which I did not use but looked inviting. Overall it was a great stay and I would gladly come back!!!!! read more

So this is the first time I've done a yelp, but I felt appropriate for this... The check in was ok. Didn't know the girls name because 1)she didn't say it and 2) no name badge. But I could feel she was just doing the script/spiel front desk agents do. Got to the room. Room was great, clean, fresh smelling (not that hotel room smell) modern decor.bLater that night, this is why the 2 star, I went to the the little marketplace and got to deal with their "fantastic" night audit. Poor guy probably shouldn't be in customer service. I won't say he was rude, but I definitely felt this was not his favorite job or even a job he liked. He was just so robotic and uncaring. I get night audits are a certain breed of people, but when a guest is in front of you, you got to put that uncaring feeling away. If I had one negative thing to say about the hotel is was him honestly. Everything else was fantastic, but I felt my stay was ruined by the attitude cuz I felt like I did something to make him mad at me by coming down at 1am and buying things. The most professional and helpful employee out of all of the Hilton's that I've ever been too and that's a good amount to compare to since I am a Diamond member. He has gone out of his way to help me fix the internet connection where I've had a issue at a double tree in the past and no one cares to help. He's greeted us in a very preprofessional manner as well upon arrival. Being a business owner I know how hard it is to find good helpful and hard working employees. Hopefully his superiors see this post and decide to move him up in the ranks, I'm sure we're not the only customers who he's helped out The rooms are very clean and very spacious. This hotel is not Hilton employee friendly. No half off food, an employee benefit ( they don't have a full service hotel so there isn't much food anyway) and parking isn't waived like it is for all employees at other properties. You're better off at any of the other Hilton properties in the area. As frequent travelers, we will never stay again. read more

Had a great stay here. The hotel is nice and brand new so you cannot beat that. It's about a 15 min walk to the Disney gates which was totally fine. The location is great, across the street from Gardenwalk which is perfect for all your dining selections (Cheesecake Factory, Roys, PF Changs, and many more) I don't know what people are expecting for the breakfast buffet. It's your common hotel continental breakfast that is free mind you. This hotels rate is totally reasonable so the fact that breakfast is included is a great perk. We are there both days, the staff was super friendly and hard working. People seriously take full advantage and ruin it for everyone I feel. Filling up water bottles with orange juice before they leave and going back for 3rds & 4th's in servings is just plain tacky. Julian and his staff at the buffet still worked hard and kept everything clean & refilled. I will definitely stay again UPDATE: 5/7/19 2 years later and Country Inn & Suites is still great. It's all starts with Fernando at the front desk, he should be running this place by now! He is one of those special employees that go above & beyond...hard to find. He made sure we had the best, smoothest check in. Breakfast is sill great. Is all about the staff. They have the BEST patience ever. They hustle, work hard and still have smiles on their faces when a family comes down in their pajamas to eat & spills milk & eggs all over the floor they have to clean. Meanwhile parents are loading up and taking food up tot whir rooms like they've never eaten before. Some people take free food to a whole other level, they lose all manners and basic dining skills. We had an absolutely incredible stay here and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to crash within walking distance of the happiest place on earth. The hotel has an extremely modern decor, most likely thanks in part to its somewhat recent construction within the last few years. The front desk staff was extremely pleasant and welcoming every time we came and went. Adorable little kids tv setup in the lobby to keep the tiny ones occupied while you check in. Free breakfast which was really of very good quality, not to mention free coffee all day in the lobby. Ok, it's not Starbucks but for free coffee you can sweeten and flavor it up to make it drinkable haha! If you're lucky enough you can score a room facing the nightly fireworks from the magical venue a few blocks over. The rooms were extremely clean with very comfortable beds which hit the spot after a long day of walking. Was too cold to check out the pool area this trip, but definitely will when we come back in the summer! read more

We've stayed here three times because of the location, free breakfast and free parking. After the second visit, we decided to return for our anniversary trip to Disneyland. Upon arriving to our room, we instantly noticed that it was almost completely EMPTY. No furniture in sight. I called the front desk, a bit embarrassed, to ask if they were aware. They simply said that they were. I asked why the furniture was gone and they casually replied it was because they were remodeling. I understand that hotels need to do this from time to time. But I felt taken advantage of. I believe there should've been a disclaimer when we booked the room or at the very least when we checked in. My family stayed here for the four nights of our Disneyland trip. It was a very comfy, very clean hotel. Each queen bed had four pillows, with more in the closet. There was enough parking. The buffet breakfast had scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage, toast and muffins, cereal, and a waffle maker. A Disneyland shuttle is supposed to stop there but I wouldn't wait for it if you can walk. It's only a 10-minute walk. Each morning I saw people who had waited over half an hour for the shuttle. This hotel is also located next to the Garden Walk, which is a block of shops and very good restaurants, such as The Cheesecake Factory and McCormick & Schmick's. The only negatives about our stay is that the breakfast policy is not communicated well. When we booked, we were told it included a free breakfast for children. We assumed (and never do that) it was the standard of 0-9 years or even the Disneyland standard of 0-10. Nope, it was 0-5. Others were confused as well, such as the family who had eaten for free for two days and on the third, when a new employee came on duty, were told they had to pay. They complained to the front desk about it, who also seemed to be somewhat confused by the policy. The other negative was the size of the shampoo and conditioner that came with the room. They were barely enough for one and a half washes, and very hard to squeeze out of the plastic containers. This is basically a family hotel, with multiple people in each room, so the freeby shampoo doesn't come close to covering it. If you didn't bring your own shampoo, I recommend asking for more right away, before you need it. Overall, though, a very nice stay. The hotel has a pool, fitness room, and free wifi. It claims to have a gift shop, but it's miniscule. read more

I've been a Hilton Honors member for about 10 years, always looking for the Hilton brand first, some years traveling more frequently than others while on business. I've never had as poor customer service from multiple front desk staff and the Hilton customer service line. No follow-up the manager the next day, either. I always use their app, and booked an offer with 'breakfast included'. They denied they offered such a promotion until I walked them through the process on my own phone, even being told "that's not our hotel". That's not the one I was pointing to. I was doubted every step of the way. I was then sarcastically told that breakfast is only offered for gold and above, "you're just silver." They said I needed to show them proof that my confirmation email shows breakfast included. The help desk guy at corporate said I booked the wrong one (there is no obvious difference when booking under a popup window of 'breakfast included' booking. He pointed to a terms and conditions link on the title page in 8 pt font with a wall of text I should have read. I was cut off multiple times while speaking at each step of the way. Something that somehow voids your offer should be called out to you that you are leaving the offer and not rely on me to know to look for specific keywords in my email to not get ripped off. That's poor UX design to the point of deception. I still paid a slightly higher rate for this promotion. They act like the burden of proof is on me and their systems are incapable of error or poor design, but while here they don't even have a functioning gate for the parking lot requiring you to ring them each time. And my key stopped working an hour before checkout. What a joke, I will no longer bother with Hilton and give other chains a chance at earning my loyalty. read more

Just spent 3 nights there. I came down to Orange County to handle some family matters. Actually my sister chose the hotel for my wife and I because the hotel we usually stay at was booked for some reason. The room was extremely clean and comfortable with a large TV, refrigerator and nice beds. The staff we encountered, particularly Ciro, Mish and Ellie at the front desk were outstanding!!!! As I stated, my wife and I usually stay at another hotel in the area and we will be staying here from now on. Breakfast is served in the morning with eggs, sausage, make it yourself waffles, english muffins, fruit, etc available. Parking (at least so far - you never know when a hotel will start getting greedy. I live in Las Vegas, I know!!!) is free. The zero-edge pool is quite large by most hotel standards and there is a nice jacuzzi. There is also an onsite guest laundry room. Depending on which side you are on, you have a clear view of the Disneyland fireworks each night. It is close to the freeway, so some freeway noise can be heard in the room. I personally found it to be great white noise. For those interested in visiting Disneyland, it is just a short walk to the park. Anaheim GardenWalk is basically across the street. Excellent hotel! My family travels often and this stay by far exceeded our expectations. We stayed for two nights as we visited Disneyland. Location, location, location! It was very near the park, we were able to take a break and rest between park visits. Cleanliness was a 10+ out of 10! Everything was so clean! Staff was excellent very service focused! They have amazing grounds as well with an infinity pool, small store, underground parking, bar, business center, laundry services and amazing gym too! Will come again no doubt about it!! read more

Overall the hotel is great. The beds and pillows were comfy. There are Disney movies playing when you walk in . However, our room overlooked the interstate and you can hear cars non-stop. I'm not sure if the noise level is better on the other side of the hotel. We are diamond and received $30 per day (15 each) food and beverage credit which we used for grab-and-go breakfasts at the coffee shop (menu attached). A sandwich was about 12.00. The walk to Disney was 10 to 15 minutes, depending on how fast you move. It also felt safe. The garden walk is about a 5 minute walk which has different restaurants. The pool is very nice. read more

I booked this hotel through a third party provider and got an excellent price for our 3-day trip to Disneyland. Overall I would stay at this hotel again because it was an excellent option outside of the preferred Disney area hotels. Pros: -Stayed in a 2-queen bed room; very nice size, comfy bed and nice bathroom. -Very friendly upfront staff and very accommodating holding on to our bags outside of our check-in/check-out times -Very nice looking pool and nice location for pool. We did not get a chance to use it but I wish we did -Excellent breakfast area and options. Very clean and plenty of food at all times. Food staff was very friendly as well. -Easy walk to and from the park. It does take about 15 minutes and we Lyft/Ubered once to a restaurant, but overall no issues and very doable. Cons: -No great views outside of rooms; all highways and other buildings -Fairly noisy outside since you are right next to the highway, but it is not terrible If you are looking for a hotel in the Disneyland area and do not want to pay Disneyland prices, this is an excellent alternative for a wonderful Anaheim/Disney trip! read more

Good thing all the pictures the hotel provides have no people in them. This hotel is a zoo. They provide a free breakfast (which is the exact same thing every day) but there are not nearly enough tables and chairs for all the guests. The rooms themselves are spacious and look nice in the pictures, but the bed is an old spring-type that will have you tossing and turning throughout your evening. Not the feeling you want after walking 30,000 steps at Disneyland. If you drive a car to the hotel you are going to have a difficult time finding a parking spot. It seemed like the only spots that were open while I was there were the couple handicap spots. Also, why did they put half of their electric car charging station in a handicap spots? You are better off spending a few more dollars and staying at a nicer hotel. This place is going to get your with their resort fee anyway, so why not give a hotel business that does not hotel so many hidden charges? read more

To start: The hotel staff at the check-in counter were wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. Wow! The room was very comfortable. The bad. I used my personal credit card at check in for incidentals. (Standard stuff) The company paid for the room/tax/resort fee on the company card. At check out, I received a copy of the close out bill to that effect. When I checked my personal credit card account, I noticed not only the $100 deposit (Pending) but the additional $60.56 (Pending) for a total of 160.56 pending charge. This just happens to be the same amount that this hotel charged the company. hmmmmm. This seems like credit card fraud to me by the hotel to double bill. When I called the hotel, they could not explain the additional $60.56. But only stated it "should" dissapear in 3-8 days. For this reason, I do not believe I would stay at this location again. In conclusion. The staff were very friendly at check-in, but I have serious doubts about your accounting practices. read more

This hotel is one of the best I have ever been to. It is a brand new hotel so everything feels so fresh! Smells good from the lobby to the room :) Here is the best of the best part. The staff here was awesome!!!! I was very impressed by the two front desk ladies who gave me and my family a huge welcome with a soldier bear doll since I booked the reservation as a military services person. If anyone who gets to read my review that are planning to visit Disneyland, this is the place that will make you so happy! It's only a block away from the Disneyland. Really enjoyed this hotel. Stayed here once for a couples weekend and again with my family for a Disney trip. The beds are so comfortable and the rooms are huge. The pool area is very clean and relaxing. Loved that we could get fresh coffee and breakfast food at the lobby bar in the mornings. They also have a small gift shop that is open all night which honestly was a lifesaver when I needed Advil at 3am. It's far enough away from Disneyland that there is plenty of parking (they charge $25 a day for parking) and it doesn't feel crazy busy, yet close enough to get an Uber to the park. Walking distance to the House of Blues is an added bonus. Very nice front desk staff too. read more

This hotel is clean and beautiful but I spent a week in agony. I've been here for a week for work related training and have slept like garbage. I have a headache I can't get rid of, and my neck and back are killing me. I wake up several times through the night and toss and turn trying to get comfortable. Their beds are rock hard and are probably the most uncomfortable beds I've ever slept on. It's a total bummer because the location is great! It's so close to both Disneyland and Angel's Stadium. I could see the lights of the stadium during their games, the rollercoaster of California Adventure, and the fireworks of Disneyland. As much as I'd love to come back, I could never handle another stay with this much pain and lack of sleep. read more

We've stayed here a couple of times and I think it's safe to say that this stay will be our last. Personal experience: Last night, we got a call around 8pm from the front desk that they received a noise complaint for our room. The employee asked us to please keep it down. The "noise" was our toddler crying, at a very reasonable hour. It wasn't as if my kids were running around as though they were at a playground. So apparently it came from someone who thought staying at a hotel 1 mile from Disneyland would be a kid-free experience. The call wasn't what bugged me; the way it was worded was. What did they want us to do? Maim our toddler? Put a muzzle on him? Incidentally, our kiddo was asleep a half hour later. Pros: -Fair walking distance to Disneyland. -Breakfast included. -Free parking. -Free wifi. -Clean and spacious rooms. -The front area with sofa bed and "bedroom" area felt separate, which makes it easier to sleep the family. -Decent price given other options in the area. Cons: -Freeway noise. Sounds like you're literally sleeping above the road. Many people find it relaxing, but I think hearing motorcycles and loud engines at unpredictable intervals is really disturbing. -Customer service lacks. The manager during the day was much more receptive to and apologetic about our complaints from the night before. But it was really insulting to be told by the night staff to keep it down when our toddler was just... being a toddler... at a very reasonable hour. -Uncomfortable and NOISY mattress. It squeaked loudly every single time I rolled over. I'm 7 months pregnant so finding a comfortable position was nearly impossible and I was afraid I'd wake up my little guy, who was sleeping next to the bed in his pack n play, every time I moved a muscle. -Ridiculously small and uncomfortable pillows. We come from Las Vegas semi-monthly or monthly and really thought we found an inexpensive and family friendly spot that checks off all the must-have's for a short family getaway.
