I got an insulation person out and he said there was plenty of venting available for a fan. Then a large estimate came and it also said I had to get an Electrical permit. After learning how to get a permit and paying $25.01 for it I send multiple texts to Jamie and waited for a response. I finally had to email him to get a response. The last email he changed his mind! He suggested "I recommend having a mechanical company--whoever did your furnace and AC--take a look to see if they have a better solution" I thought the customer was right when asking for something I've done before that I know works. If he didn't want to do the job, he should have told me a lot sooner! No very happy with this company.

Chad came by soon after and took at look at the situation, promising to get us an estimate by the next day. (He also noticed some of our gutters needed a couple of extra screws, and he just fixed that for us while he was here. Thanks!) We got the estimate as promised and were surprised that it was not as much as we feared it might be. Chad told us that it might be up to 30 days before they could know what day they could come by to do the work, but they called just a couple of days later and it was completed the following day by Jesse and Jared. They did a great job! (That included retrieving the pieces of the replacement siding we had stored in the rafters of our garage (Jenga-style). We will probably need a window replaced sometime in the next year or two and we already know who we will call. Recommend!

They stated they would measure the windows, order the windows, build the windows according to measurements so they were an exact fit, and install the windows. They did not contact me until 4/14/26 to schedule an install. Their first availability was 5/11-13/26. They confirmed installation by phone on 5/8/26. On 5/11/26, the installation team arrived at my home at approx. 8:45 a.m. (after being told they would be there at 8 a.m. and having to call them). I received a call from the Albert Lea office at 12:51 p.m. stating that all 8 windows had been mismeasured and they would have to order new windows. They had no explanation of how all 8 windows were mismeasured or why it took them a few hours after their team left my house before calling me about the news. On or about May 22nd, I received a phone call scheduling the install team to come back out a second time. Install was scheduled for June 15-16/26. On 6/15/26, the install team showed up around 8:15 a.m. That night, I noticed that 4 of the 8 windows had been installed, 1 was broken but in place (without window trim), and the other 3 had not started. I assumed that when they came back on 6/16/26 they would fix/replace the broken one and install the remaining 3. On 6/16/26, I received a call from the Albert Lea office at 12:29 p.m. and was informed that one of the windows was broken and they needed to re-order the window again. This would be the 3rd re-order for this specific window. They had no explanation of why they didn't call me on 6/15/26 when they discovered the window was broken. I spoke to the General Manager, Sheila, a couple days after and, again, she still had no explanations but expressed her apologies and stated she would investigate the matter as it didn't seem reasonable for all 8 windows to be mismeasured and for such a delay in always relaying to me about the issues they were running into with mismeasuring and a broken window. She also asked me what sort of discount it would require for me to order my living room windows through them which were quoted at $43,631 for 18 windows, given all of the issues with the current 8 windows. I never received another call back from her. On or about 6/19/26, I was called to schedule the installation of the 8th window. It was scheduled for 7/6/26. I informed them that I wasn't going to miss work again to meet the team and would leave the door unlocked. However, at 9:25 a.m. on 7/6/26, I received a call stating the team was there and nobody was answering the door. I reminded them that the door was unlocked and they were to go in. The install team left my house at approx. 10:30 a.m. according to my security cameras. When I went home for lunch at 12:15 p.m., I discovered that the broken window was still there and no work was done. I called the Albert Lea office and they had no explanation at that time and needed to investigate. I then received a call at approx. 2 p.m. from Chad Bonin who sold me the windows in October 2025, informing me that the 8th window they were to install had a frame that wasn't going to fit. There was no explanation as to how this happened and only that they were ordering a new frame and window and someone would reach out when they were ready to schedule an install. This is now the 4th re-order for this one window. I also discussed a discount due to all of the issues we have had. I did inform him that I wasn't going to order our living room windows through them as if there were this many issues with 8 windows, I had serious concerns about ordering 18 windows through them. He expressed that he did not blame me for that decision and asked me to send him a figure I was requesting for a discount. On 7/6/26, I emailed Chad requesting a discount of $5,320.00, which was 30% of the total order. According to a document from Renewal, the one window that has been ordered 4 times, was priced at $3,717. I felt that due to all of the extra time off work, moving of items in the house, stress from dealing with the issues, and non-timely communication from the company, the cost of the 8th window, plus extra for the aforementioned items, was very reasonable. I received an email back from Chad on 7/8/26, stating the General Manager, Sheila, was willing to offer a $500 discount. I feel that offer is a slap in the face compared to the troubles we have encountered. As of now, I still haven't been contacted about installation of the 8th window.
