Seasonal spritz and new bourbon barrel beer

We always enjoy stopping in Sun King when we have a chance. I love that they always having some new on tap! And they have some other options for non-beer drinkers. And it's attached to the test kitchen if you need a bite to eat.

I stopped by Sun King and ended up having a really good experience. The place has a comfortable, family friendly vibe, and they had college football games on the TVs, which made it a fun spot to hang out for a bit. The service was great too. Everyone was friendly and on top of things. They did forget to bring me one of my beers, but they apologized right away and comped it, which I really appreciated. The food was also really good. There are lots of different options, so it's easy for everyone to find something they're in the mood for. Everything we had tasted fresh and hit the spot. Overall, Sun King is a solid place to grab good food, relax, and enjoy the atmosphere. I would definitely recommend giving it a try.

The Orange Vanilla Sunlight Cream Ale from Sun King!

Returned for more beer with Sun King but new for the Fishers location for me. The beer we had was the Orange Vanilla Sunlight which is a Cream Ale. This was a good Cream Ale for sure. I always thought that this type of Ale I don't have often I take to be a novelty still after all my brewery and beer exploring and that is very much a good thing. Because when I do have a Cream Ale I almost always enjoy it. The flavor characteristics live up to the name well. You can definitely pick up the orange and the vanilla. It makes the beer sweet but not too much. The body of the beer is creamy and smooth, just like how a good Cream Ale should be!

During a quick stop at Sun King in Fishers, IN, my husband and I enjoyed some drinks and a visit to One Tricky Pony. I sipped on the refreshing and delicious Mint Condition, while my husband opted for a sour on tap. Although the bartender mentioned the current offering--his usual favorites weren't available--we missed catching the name of the drink as it was never told. I couldn't find it on the menu either, but it was definitely tasty! The atmosphere was lively and fun, making the experience all the more enjoyable.

Our every Saturday lunch spot. Erika and Cheryl are awesome and their friendly service is a big reason we come back so regularly. Great beverages and food close by. 10/10 would recommend.

I have been wanting to try this place for quite sometime. It was a friends birthday and they live in Fishers so I finally had the opportunity. First off it is located in the Yard, the new district in Fishers which has lots of shops and places to dine. That's fantastic but parking is pretty hard to find, especially when attempting to park around 7:30pm on. Saturday! After circling a couple times found a spot pretty close to the building. Walking in, it was very vibrant and busy. All the tables were taken (luckily my friends were already there). Not king after sitting down, a server came to take my drink order. She was very prompt and friendly. I'm not a huge beer fan so I asked her for suggestions on a light beer. She recommend two. Inside Sun King is also the Test Kitchen. I have heard about this but didn't realize it is located inside the brewery. So once I ordered my beer I went to order food. There are I think 4 different options. You order via a kiosk and you receive a text when your food is ready. Pretty neat and efficient. There are lots of TVs around and music is playing. I've been to the Sun King downtown which is much closer but I would say this one is more warm and feels like an actual bar. I like it...it's just a bit far from me! -)

I'm a big fan of the Sun King Carmel but had never been to the new-ish Sun King Fishers! Its quite similar to the Carmel location, with an ample ground level patio, large interior space with three food vendors, and an upstairs patio. It's within the bustling Fishers District area and overlooks The Yard area. Because of that, parking can be tight - but there is a free (I think) parking garage adjacent to Sun King. SK always has an ample drink menu, including ciders and NA options. I tried the Pineapple Crush NA drink - basically a Shirley Temple with pineapple juice. It was refreshing, but I was surprised to see it was $5.50 - basically the same price as a can of cider or a basic beer, but this had no alchohol. Great service as always. I'll be back!

A group of friends wanted to meet up and we decided this would be a good place. There is a large open area on the first floor with picnic style tables suitable for large groups. When you walk in there is an employee that greets you and let's you know to grab a table, a server will bring you drinks, and you order food from your phone via a QR code. For a drink I went with the MARTYLADA (Pachanga Mexican-Style Lager, Sun King Bloody Mary Mix, Tajin Rim, Lime Wedge). Their version of a michelada. It was good and very beer forward. For food they have three options: Gordito's (think Mexican food), inspo (think bar food meets healthy, meets foodie), and One Trick Pony (Burgers). I opted for the nachos and they were great although pricy. Over all it was a great place for good food and drinks and a place to meet up with friends!

I cannot wait to try the food at Sun King because I loved the drinks! I usually never think to stop in Sun King because I'm not a beer/ale drinker. However, we had a team meeting at Top Golf nearby and some coworkers wanted to have dinner nearby so I joined in. I wasn't hungry but I'm always thirsty! I ordered their signature flights. There are several options to choose from. I ordered: pineapple, passion fruit, raspberry and blood orange. They were delicious and very decently priced. The restaurant is huge, plenty of seating indoors and out. There is an upstairs as well and kids are welcomed.

Sun King has really done a great job with their expansions over the years, and the Fishers location is no different. Lots of giant tables perfect for getting a group together fill most of the space, but smaller tables are also available. Of course, there is a wide variety of Sun King brewed beers, but they've also added cocktails and even a few mock tails to the mix. If your not a beer lover but your friends are, bring them here! There's also the attached test kitchen which has rotating food vendors working out of a few stalls. Definitely recommend the Korean food, although I was eyeing a juicy looking burger and cheese fries that someone else had order. Both of my visits here were a pleasant laid back experience.

This place was awesome and we had a great time with a large group. I've had Sun King beer before but never visited their location until we realized it was close to our nearby hotel. They have some large tables which worked perfect for our group of 12. Our server took great care of us with our drinks and we all tried different food from their test kitchens. This was a very cool concept with 3 different pop up restaurants available while you enjoy Sun King beer. You can either order at the counter and grab a buzzer or order online and go grab it when they text you. The beer was great and they have a huge variety of options. Most of us tried flights and we all enjoyed our choices.

I wonder what other stuffings were in the dumplings. I greatly enjoyed the veggie Asian slaw of carrots, red peppers, chives, etc. under the dumplings. Ponzu sauce has a good taste. I definitely would recommend these dumplings. I have been interested in trying the $16 smoked then fried gluten-sensitive wings. A pound is like 8 wings. I needed more house-made BBQ sauce to cover the wings. Not amazing. Jamaican jerk wings were quite spicy. Carrots came with dish. I hoped for just smoked but must come as fried too but that made them hard to chew so I must give them 4 stars. I sat at a bar with TVs surrounding the room. Common sink between the restrooms. I'm huge on seeing photos before I order (hence me being a YELPer) so I loved the photos on the website. The hostess and our server were friendly. It took a big before the server came over, but the hostess did warn us that he did just have another table seated before us. The beer drinkers in our party enjoyed their beers. We started out with two apps... cheese curds and pretzel bites. When they came to the table, neither looked like they do on the website. On the website the pretzels looked a bit better than something you'd get in a mall, and they stated they came with cheese and mustard. In real time they only had cheese. The cheese curds also looked completely different and were smaller portions than shown online. For our meals we had a burger, a chicken sandwich, and I had the southwest salad. There seemed to be a little miscommunication with our waiter about the dressing for my salad, and that resulted in my salad missing some ingredients but he resolved it. But also of note, the menu listed a "avocado lime vinagrette" and the salad came with a guac that just looked like it was maybe left in the blender a second longer than it should have been. The burger was huge. We all agreed the food was "good" but we wouldn't add it to our list of must haves next time we are in town. The disappointment more came from things that hyped us up on the menu online and in store and then weren't actually the same. :(

Our server was pretty great, and up front about wait times. We went when the kitchen has a crew shortage, so there was a wait for food. For appetizers: nachos were great, but if you ordered a simple nacho, it's meh, we had to add several things and added $$ to make it REAL nachos. The dip for the pork rinds was good. The table ordered truffle fries, they finished it. It was our first time trying Upland beers. Most of the options are IPA and tart beers. None of which I like. The mixed drinks menu was meh, they offer 2 hard ciders, but one was unavailable. Our server let us try samples and she was very patient. For main dishes: I ordered a Salmon BLT. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. I didn't eat it with the bun, salmons was very thin, 1 piece of bacon, slice of tomato and 1 piece of lettuce. We had mac and cheese, DO NOT ORDER, it was floating in fat and there's no taste to it. Fish and chips was okay. The pizza was the highlight, it saved the night, I think. Bathrooms clearly labeled, easily seen, and clean. For 6 people, 2 of whom did not have alcoholic drinks (just water), our bill with tip was over $350. I would not come back here again, I had a better time and better food at other breweries.
