Had a book club meeting here, and it had been a minute since I had visited, it was an all around great time! I was able to grab a table right away on the bar side. Our server was great! Really on top of it, personable, all while rocking a boot! I enjoyed a flight of their in house beers, all were very tasty! I also had an espresso martini, which was very good, and for my main course, I had the big Bob burger! So savory and hit the spot! Check out this place if you can!

Stopped in to get a fried pork sandwich for lunch. We were greeted with the most friendly and happy server I have ever had. She made us immediatly feel welcome. We started with the pretzles and beer cheese. To our suprise it came with two big soft prtzels and a warm beer cheese. The pork sandwich was flavorful and crispy. We had a nice lunch and would reccomend anyone visiting to get the pork sandwich here!

Not really sure what to expect when you pull into a strip and there's a brewery with blacked out windows and a wide open parking lot... Lots of beer options (and other drinks if you're not feeling like beer)! The decor was pretty fitting for the season. The food was pretty decent, the fried onions were absolutely delicious. The Cuban was very hefty, so I ended up not being able to finish it. Our server was super nice, we just had some issues with the kitchen getting us items that weren't quite what we ordered.

If I had to sum up my experience it was - okay. Service was fine, kind of impersonal but everything we ordered was correct and came out timely so I can't complain. The food itself was also okay, I got the mushroom and Swiss burger. Food was hot and we didn't wait ages for it to come out but wasn't really anything to write home about. Fries could have used a little seasoning, they were crispy but a good seasoning would have made them memorable. The beer was good, no complaints there. I think I'd come back for a beer out on the patio maybe some food but this first experience didn't knock it out of the park for me.

8.13.25 pineapple salmon. tbh, not super pretty, but it was a #yum #ReviewsByRL

8.13.25 it's been a little over a year (!) since I've been here. Came back again with 4 other coworkers. I had the pineapple salmon and veggies. The sauce over the fish is honestly not super appetizing-looking, but it was well cooked and tasty. For apps our table got the pretzles with cheese and the chicken nachos. It was, again, a #yum. #ReviewsByRL

I recently hosted a resident event here & was impressed with the level of service I received. I was able to get in touch with their events coordinator who was very responsive & answered any of my questions professionally. We were expecting anywhere from 25-30 people. Our event started at 6:00pm & when I arrived at 5:45p they were prepared for our big party. We reserved the bar area which had dim lighting & there were TV's in the bar to catch a game. I would say the food was just okay. Not bad but nothing to write home about. We had wings and pizza for our guests. The wings were okay but I was not a fan of the buffalo sauce or ranch. The ranch tastes like dill ranch which I'm not a huge fan of. The pizza got cold because they didn't have any warmers to keep it warm after they sat it out, which was a little disappointing. Overall, we had a great time! Our waitress Jessica did an awesome job of controlling our large party and getting things we needed diligently. I would go again but maybe order different food or stick to the drinks.

Quick drop in for a growler fill, timed the visit to find a large and crowd friendly space, served by energetic staff, I can see good reason to be back for more. There's a lot on the menus. I sampled a couple ales but the Schwartz beer really spoke to me, smooth and vibrant brew. Very tasty!

    Outside seating

We were a group of 7 and sat outside. There is plenty of seating both inside and out. The service was very slow, I'm not sure if it was because we were outside and they forgot about us. The food and beer overall was good. Nothing really stood out. I think I need to come back again and try it inside.

After all of the order hassle (over an hour), it was STILL wrong and they packed so much heavy stuff on top they crushed the tacos. ‍

We got there early and were able to have some drinks and food, including the nachos. Man, I was not expecting BBQ sauce and like a mustardy sauce and cheese and it was flavor exploding, loved it. With the event we had catered pork/chicken as well as sides. Everything was great, the peppercorn dressing for the salad was so amazing, I would definitely think of a salad here in the future. The venue inside the space, with the car, is quaint with seating and you get to see everything happening outside the space as well. This last time, we were in the original Guggman Haus brewing building that houses the coffee. This is adorable! We had service the entire time, including a bartender and the beer. They made everything super easy and I would consider this space for a baby shower, bridal shower, etc. We had 25 people and it fit wonderfully. There is also outside space for overflow, so it makes it very reasonable. Now onto the beer! I had the IPA Riverside, very hazy with a great flavor. Then I went off the rocker and ordered some prickly pear drink, I was not expecting how good that was! Refreshing and light, easy to drink (probably too easy) and the flavor was perfect! Try it if you are there, it is a newer option. PROS: Parking easy, street and lot Many open spaces and areas to rent Games are included, so eat, drink and enjoy company They have trivia nights, woohoo CONS: Sometimes the food is not always a hit, nothing to state specifically today, but I recall in the past saying to myself, don't order that again. The brewery is housed inside a beautifully restored church, and walking in for the first time is worth the visit alone. The soaring ceilings, stained glass, and original architecture make for one of the coolest brewery spaces I've been to around Indianapolis. We stopped in during the early afternoon, so it was nice and quiet. We were greeted right away, and our server was incredibly friendly. She walked us through the beer flights, made some great recommendations, and never made us feel rushed. The flights were also surprisingly affordable, which made trying a few different brews an easy decision. For lunch, I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with fries, while my friend went with the Italian sandwich. Both plates were generously portioned, and neither of us left hungry. The pulled pork was tender, flavorful, and piled high on the sandwich, while the fries were perfectly crispy alongside it. Between the quality of the food and the reasonable prices, it felt like an excellent value. The atmosphere strikes a nice balance between historic and casual. TVs are scattered throughout if you're catching a game, music plays in the background, and despite the grand setting, it still feels comfortable enough to settle in for a while. Whether you're stopping by for a beer flight, lunch, or just to admire the incredible building, St. Joseph Brewery is well worth adding to your Indianapolis list. I'll definitely be back.

The mussels were actively bad. The portion (an app) was pretty small. There was hardly any broth/wine and they weren't piping hot. Also, they were actually not tasty and the texture was rubbery.
