I signed a check over to her she deposited it into the ATM and it would not allow her to withdraw the funds. We went inside and they said "oh they'll be available tomorrow morning." Well I was not happy about this, I was willing to accept it. We went back this morning and the funds were still not available after speaking to only one person over the phone at Wells Fargo because supervisor or manager was not an option. We were told that the check was flagged as possible fraudulent activity. And then we're told that they would review it further in a couple of weeks. There was no option to send in pictures of IDs to send copies of emails from my school explaining exactly how much they were sending me into what address. There was absolutely no option for me to get my money for another 2 weeks. The only thing fraudulent in this situation, is Wells Fargo and how they handle their customers money. It is absolutely unacceptable that there is not a way to fast track this. I now have no way to get to my new job I just started, I have no way to get food, I have no way to get my cat's food, ect... If I had any advice about Wells Fargo, for anybody, it would be stay away, stay far away. Under no circumstances would I recommend trusting these people with your money, in any way.

In the 40 years that I have banked with Wells Fargo this was the most terrible experience I have ever had with any Wells Fargo across several states. My sister (who is in a wheelchair and is visually impaired) and I went to this branch to open a savings account for her on June 27, 2025. The manager (I did not get his name) was condescending and rude. The "special relationship banker" was similarly rude and had an extremely poor attitude towards a new banking customer. My sister and I did not complete the transaction to open the account at this branch with either the "special relationship banker" or the manager as I did not trust either of them to handle our financial matters. The Northtowne/N McCarran Wells Fargo has made me consider terminating my entire 40 YEAR banking relationship with Wells Fargo.

I met with Associate Roving Personal Banker, Kristina Najar. She was kind, professional and she had a great personality. I ordered a new bank card and she answered all of my personal Loan questions. I felt that my banking experience was a Five Star Customer Service Experience. Also the new white chairs were so soft...like butter and the lobby was beautiful and upscale. I did ask the bank manager if I could photograph the lobby, but he said no. I do understand as a safety precaution. Anyway, the bank was quiet and I was able to speak to Kristina in between her appointments. So lucky for me. What a fabulous Banker and Banking experience today. As a roving personal banker, Kristina gets to go and work at many of the Wells Fargo branches. I was so lucky she was at Disc Drive today. Thank you so much. The problem is, they don't tell you! After I discovered the issue when depositing the cash at my credit union, I went back to question the fee and tried to get my fee back. They said they would if I "Brought the cash back." WTF! I had the receipt from the transaction showing the fee. The teller tucked it in with the cash when he put it in an envelope. Great way to treat a perspective customer! Avoid at all costs!

I headed over to my local branch, where the teller told me about temporary checks versus the cashier's check I planned to get. To be honest I felt a bit ignorant not knowing about temporary checks. The teller was really friendly and helpful and guided me through the simple process. I was able to print out 3 temporary checks for $3 bucks. Definitely worth it for the bind that I was in!
