The pie had a great taste with a fluffy airy texture, yet still creamy. The huckleberry flavor was subtle and not too too sweet, but just the right berry sweet. There were berries in every bite. Instead of the traditional meringue topping, it was whipped cream sprinkled with sugar crystals. It's worth noting, the crust was really yummy and softly crumbled with each bite. The pie to whipped topping to crust--all in all, I'm satisfied with the ratio and portion. I appreciate the majority of their baked goods are made in-house. I would get this pie again. This year my mom discovered Praeder Ranch Resort. It was the perfect location for us. There are several family members with campers; the resort offers tent, partial and full sites to accommodate everyone. There is a lodge with wonderful rooms for everyone else (where we stayed). There is an indoor pool, an outdoor pool and a huge hot tub. Also offered is a game room, a great library, a gym and outdoor activities such as shuffle board, volleyball, basketball, frisbee golf, etc. We found trails to walk around to get some outdoor exercise. The lodge is well maintained and very clean; my wife and I very much enjoyed the indoor pool and sauna. Jeff and Tracy were wonderful and took good care of the entire extended family that was there. It's a little out of the way, but worth the trip. We shall definitely be back.

Our weekend was great as always, but made better by Tracy and Jeff the hosts of the ranch. They were so accommodating and friendly. We all gathered at a camp spot for meals and fun. This ranch was perfect since some camped and some not. I highly recommend the ranch for a peaceful get away or a large gathering. They really need to get the word spread out about this place.

No A/C in our unit~not ideal but cooled down at night with windows open (street noise came late as pubs closed but was short lived). Downside: Cigarette odor hit us as soon as we stepped into the main stairway from outdoors. Smell lingered our whole stay as we think possibly it used to be a smoking establishment and that odor is hard to remedy with old carpet in common areas. Room was clean, not as bad as smelling as out of the room. Shower had a cigarette burn on the shower lip (see photo). Texted the mgr but she was apparently not feeling well. No reply was ever rec'd so hoping she is ok now. 3.5 stars

Our stay was 4 nights and we booked several experiences for our time there. The first was a 90 minute massage. The massage room overlooks the marina and is beautiful. The massage itself was just okay. He asked the area he should concentrate and actually that area felt the least attended to. However, it was still very relaxing. My friend and I also booked "Hot winter night" at the infinity pool. This was so much fun as they have an adult hour and lucky for us the center above the pool was hosting prom. Yep- we got our dancing queen on. Might have annoyed the cute couples around us, but a girl's gotta dance! We also booked the "Floating in Frequency" on that Sunday morning. It was a small class and we drifted comfortably around the pool to the sound bowls. Highly recommend! Food is great at the resort and Beverly's "Lakeview Menu" is a great deal. Available until 5:30 each day, you get a 3 course meal for $29.99 with an optional wine pairing for $24.95. We had a window view and got to know the local geese (guarding their nests along the edge) June 2026- Had another friend in town and of course wanted her to experience this resort. We stayed 4 nights in Lake Tower and this time had a west facing view which had beautiful sunsets. The outdoor pool had opened, but we only visited once as it was windy and cold. Instead, we booked a "Girl's escape package" This included massages for both, lunch, and a pedicure. We had a great time. July 4th weekend 2026- This was a last minute book for us, and if we planned ahead would have gone for Lake Tower. However, we were pleasantly surprised at our view of the fireworks from the Park Tower Marina room (stay was 3 nights). This was probably the best for us since we had our dog Luna. It didn't have a balcony, so better for her not to hear the load booms. We spent a day at the infinity pool (rented a beach cabana) and ate dinner early. Then spent the time in the room waiting away for the crowds. The show was amazing and I've never been so close to fireworks with such an amazing view. We had an amazing time!

The only thing I would ding them on is the seemingly new bed pillows. They are overstuffed and several of us found them uncomfortable. Nothing boring about Nintendos and a chalkboard to draw on in each room, a cozy fire pit, & the World's longest oatmeal bar (vegan-friendly, and you can ask for gluten-free oats, too)! The staff are all friendly and communicative via text, email, or phone! They will text you a door code if you arrive too late to check-in in person. Definitely stay here if you have dogs because this is one of the rare hotels that do not charge extra for dogs unless damage occurs! And while most hotels limit you to two dogs, we were okay with three (and we told them ahead of time)! The fire pit was a nice place to hang out with our group and doggos, and we met some nice people who were visiting with their dogs as well. You also get a free drink token upon arrival, and there are events on select nights. If you don't want to hang out at the hotel, downtown Pullman is just across the street! The hotel is on a main road, so you can hear the street starting around 6:30am, but the nights were very quiet. Because this is more of motel, there isn't daily cleaning by default and no iron or coffee amenities in each room, so just be mindful of that when planning. Parking in the main area can be a bit tight in the evenings but there is a another lot on the other side that remained mostly empty. We were even able to slow charge our EV in one of the spots. All in all, great small town hospitality experience for a great price! Way more interesting than a fancy hotel!
