The pie had a great taste with a fluffy airy texture, yet still creamy. The huckleberry flavor was subtle and not too too sweet, but just the right berry sweet. There were berries in every bite. Instead of the traditional meringue topping, it was whipped cream sprinkled with sugar crystals. It's worth noting, the crust was really yummy and softly crumbled with each bite. The pie to whipped topping to crust--all in all, I'm satisfied with the ratio and portion. I appreciate the majority of their baked goods are made in-house. I would get this pie again. This year my mom discovered Praeder Ranch Resort. It was the perfect location for us. There are several family members with campers; the resort offers tent, partial and full sites to accommodate everyone. There is a lodge with wonderful rooms for everyone else (where we stayed). There is an indoor pool, an outdoor pool and a huge hot tub. Also offered is a game room, a great library, a gym and outdoor activities such as shuffle board, volleyball, basketball, frisbee golf, etc. We found trails to walk around to get some outdoor exercise. The lodge is well maintained and very clean; my wife and I very much enjoyed the indoor pool and sauna. Jeff and Tracy were wonderful and took good care of the entire extended family that was there. It's a little out of the way, but worth the trip. We shall definitely be back.

Our weekend was great as always, but made better by Tracy and Jeff the hosts of the ranch. They were so accommodating and friendly. We all gathered at a camp spot for meals and fun. This ranch was perfect since some camped and some not. I highly recommend the ranch for a peaceful get away or a large gathering. They really need to get the word spread out about this place.

No A/C in our unit~not ideal but cooled down at night with windows open (street noise came late as pubs closed but was short lived). Smell lingered our whole stay as we think possibly it used to be a smoking establishment and that odor is hard to remedy with old carpet in common areas. Room was clean, not as bad as smelling as out of the room. Shower had a cigarette burn on the shower lip (see photo). Texted the mgr but she was apparently not feeling well. No reply was ever rec'd so hoping she is ok now. 3.5 stars

Our stay was 4 nights and we booked several experiences for our time there. The first was a 90 minute massage. The massage room overlooks the marina and is beautiful. The massage itself was just okay. He asked the area he should concentrate and actually that area felt the least attended to. However, it was still very relaxing. My friend and I also booked "Hot winter night" at the infinity pool. This was so much fun as they have an adult hour and lucky for us the center above the pool was hosting prom. Yep- we got our dancing queen on. Might have annoyed the cute couples around us, but a girl's gotta dance! We also booked the "Floating in Frequency" on that Sunday morning. It was a small class and we drifted comfortably around the pool to the sound bowls. Highly recommend! Food is great at the resort and Beverly's "Lakeview Menu" is a great deal. Available until 5:30 each day, you get a 3 course meal for $29.99 with an optional wine pairing for $24.95. We had a window view and got to know the local geese (guarding their nests along the edge) June 2026- Had another friend in town and of course wanted her to experience this resort. We stayed 4 nights in Lake Tower and this time had a west facing view which had beautiful sunsets. The outdoor pool had opened, but we only visited once as it was windy and cold. Instead, we booked a "Girl's escape package" This included massages for both, lunch, and a pedicure. We had a great time. July 4th weekend 2026- This was a last minute book for us, and if we planned ahead would have gone for Lake Tower. However, we were pleasantly surprised at our view of the fireworks from the Park Tower Marina room (stay was 3 nights). This was probably the best for us since we had our dog Luna. It didn't have a balcony, so better for her not to hear the load booms. We spent a day at the infinity pool (rented a beach cabana) and ate dinner early. Then spent the time in the room waiting away for the crowds. The show was amazing and I've never been so close to fireworks with such an amazing view. We had an amazing time!

It has been many years since I have stayed in a room of such low quality, particularly for a high-end resort. I would like to bring the following issues to your attention: 1. The room was small, dark, and outdated. 2. I ordered chocolate-covered strawberries, but none were supplied. 3. The lack of available power outlets was unacceptable for a modern hotel. 4. The bathroom door was extremely difficult to open and close, requiring two hands to move. 5. Our room was next to the pool, and the pool lights remained on all night. Because the windows only had wooden slats with large gaps instead of curtains, the light shone into our room all night, making it very difficult to sleep. 6. The refrigerator temperature was so weak that the water we placed inside was only slightly chilled. 7. The television programming interface was poor, and the audio cut out frequently while trying to select a program. Any one of these issues would be unacceptable on its own, but experiencing all of them demonstrates a disappointing indifference to the comfort of your guests. While I typically avoid leaving negative reviews, I feel compelled to share this feedback so these issues can be addressed. I look forward to your response regarding how this will be resolved.

The only thing I would ding them on is the seemingly new bed pillows. They are overstuffed and several of us found them uncomfortable. The wall AC unit was crazy loud and ran pretty much ALL the time. We couldn't figure out how to turn it off, but it was too hot to turn off anyways (100 degrees on our last day). The attention to detail in the room was low. There were wires hanging down behind the TV, the doors were removed from the closet (not sure why) and only one drawer had a handle/pull. The other drawers just had holes. The bathroom vanity was touch up painted in a different color. There's a table with four chairs with room for two people (the microwave is sitting on the table). These things just made the room feel kind of low quality - like it was a rush job renovation. The bathroom backs to an alley and has a floodlight shining in the window all night - with no window cover, so you have to keep the door closed all night if you don't want the bright light shining in. The bathroom door is super noisy, so it woke everyone up if one person would get up to use the bathroom at night. The shower drain was not draining well and we stood in a bit of standing water with each shower. To e bathroom is smaller than a cruise ship. Super tight! There was a lot of dust in the bathroom and the shower cleanliness was questionable. There were no towels or paper towels in the kitchen, which I thought was weird. There is no housekeeping and they don't even give you fresh towels each day. We had to go down to the office twice to ask and there was no one at the desk. We waited around for quite awhile and ended up having to knock on the staff door next door to request towels. Same thing another day. The breakfast is nothing but dry crockpot oatmeal with toppings and pop tarts. The oatmeal was ok for a day or two, but we got really sick of it by the third day. As far as sleep, I had a hard time because the windows only had pull down shades which didn't fit well and the sun started streaming in the back window early. The bed was comfortable but the pull out sofa bed was miserable. I felt bad that my daughter had to sleep on it. We were in Pullman to help my daughter move into her new apartment, so the uncomfortable bed pushed her to start sleeping in her apartment before it was even fully ready. The parking was a nightmare. The second night we returned late and couldn't find a spot. We tried to go to the office to ask where to park, but the office was closed. We drove around back and parked. We didn't notice any no parking signs. The next morning we had a tow warning notice on our car. We were never told where the overflow parking was - just not to park in the EV spots. Apparently you can park on the side of the hotel, but not the back. Thank goodness we didn't have our car towed! The three positives: The free drink on the first night was a nice perk. The people in the office were pretty friendly. The main bed was comfortable. The negatives: - No elevator - Loud, subpar AC - Floodlight in bathroom window - Rickety bathroom door - Poor drainage in shower - Tiny, dirty bathroom - No housekeeping or fresh towels - Very little parking - Limited breakfast (oatmeal and pop tarts only) - Uncomfortable pull out bed - No way to contact front desk, except calling main reservation line and getting an AI assistant or going down to office and speaking to someone (if they're there). - Dilapidated and dirty rooms We have stayed in Pullman before and while we understand that accommodation options are limited, we were shocked that this hotel had such raving reviews. Room comfortable with a great bathroom that had MC tilework and felt like a time capsule rather than a past its prime hovel screaming "refresh me".
