I ended up leaving half way through the blow out because she kept hitting my head with the blow dryer. When I got home my hair looked darker then when I went in to have it done. Today my friend pointed out a huge bleed mark in the back of my head. When I reached out to Quinn for a refund she told me to come back in and she would fix it. Unfortunately, a don't trust her to touch my hair again and requested a refund to which I was denied. I'm unsure as to why this Salon has so many good reviews. I emailed Jackie directly, included clear photos of the damage, and requested a refund of the $140 I paid--giving her a fair opportunity to respond and make things right. She ignored me entirely. I was never offered my money back, nor did I receive any response or apology. I then escalated the issue to the salon. While they did apologize and offered a complimentary haircut with a top stylist, by that point the trust was gone. I declined, because I should not have to risk further disappointment or spend more time fixing a mistake that never should have happened. Between the poor quality of the haircut and the total lack of professionalism and customer care, this experience was beyond frustrating--it was unacceptable. I would strongly caution anyone considering booking with Jackie.

I stopped seeing my last person in 2018 and after that only had a professional haircut once in 2021 by someone else before finding Jess in 2023 (I believe it was 2023). I went to Jess with the goal of growing my hair out for my wedding and WOW I wish I'd found her sooner because not only did she help me achieve growing out my hair, she also gave me beautiful highlights (which I was afraid to get at first) and NEVER got cut happy with me (meaning she never cut too much). I moved out of state before my wedding but was dedicated to Jess and the process we started, so when I had a couple of opportunities to go back to California, I made SURE to have an appointment booked with her. This is me telling you all that she is WORTH traveling for! Not only is she an amazing hair stylist, she's kind and a lot of fun to be around. I'm pretty introverted, but Jess made me feel very comfortable and got me socializing. I'm talking in the past tense, but I'll probably fly out to see her again at some point... I usually ask for a simple cut (a couple inches trimmed and some layers) and she gets it right every single time. My hair always feels light, healthy, and refreshed afterward. We booked our appt for March 14th back in early to mid January. The day before, the spa needed to make a time change for our group and we moved it to one hour later than originally planned. No issues on our end. They communicated it clearly and even added foot massages due to the change. All of the technicians we had were great. I had Ruby and she was fantastic from beginning to end. I would go out of my way to request her again. I was super relaxed and felt very refreshed at the end. There were some guests that were there before us who were very talkative and social while getting their hair dried in the back at the end of their service. Because the space in the back is fully open to where people are getting their treatment it was a bit distracting and harder to relax until they left the spa. It could help if quiet rules were enforced to make sure all patrons at all stages of their service are getting the most peaceful experience throughout. Overall great first head spa experience. The whole floor, including the entrance, were very cramped. It felt like one wrong move, one sneeze and I was going to disturb or knock into other patrons. It is very tight! Unfortunately, I did not find this experience relaxing at all. Ultimately, it felt more like a glorified facial rather than a head spa. It felt like my technician was everywhere and nowhere, seemingly not remembering the order of things. During the treatment, I began to feel a line of burning along my upper back and arms. Come to find out afterwards that I experienced chemical burns that coincides where the table/water line meet. There were just so many products used. I am not someone who is sensitive to products so this came as a surprise to me. When I pressed for information on brands, type of lotion, etc. both the technician and receptionist seemed clueless on what products their salon was stocked with. For the price I paid and the experience I had, I can't justify returning or recommending this establishment to anyone else.
