We have stayed here about 4 separate times within a span of 6 years. This is the perfect spot if you are passing thru because yo can stop and stay here. And literally walk to the Smiths grocery store next door to load up your rv with food. The RV park staff everyone we come are super nice and friendly. RV spots are roomy and clean and well kept. Definitely fits the bill for a week of golf as we meandered to Palm Desert. This place is immaculate. Small and intimate. Great location - convenient to shopping and golf. The team here is very professional and friendly. Having a nice grocery store 150 footsteps away is really nice. Can't give it the 5th star because the dog area is ridiculously small, and while there are nice sidewalks around the area the roads are busy and not exactly good for pup walks. We did find a few parks in the area that were pet friendly. We will be back! read more

This little resort is tucked away in a residential and commercial area. Very well manicured and maintained and super clean with staff that are impeccable. Walking distance to dining and grocery shopping as well as Starbucks. I will definitely return. read more

LOCATION-LOCATION-LOCATION! Friendly staff who keep the resort very clean, especially the bathrooms. Please turn up your water heater(s). Usually I could take a warm shower, but one evening I couldn't get the water warm to shower and fix the shower handles. I did laundry there and I purposely chose Hot water knowing it was going to be warm but I don't even think it got warm. And keep up on your propane tank at the grill- it was out on our visit. The internet is super slow too. This isn't a negative review- just a few things to take care of. We'll definitely stay there again. read more

We stayed here for an overnight trip on our way up to SLC. We found their phone etiquette very kind and polite. They have special instructions for late check in, and it was easy to find our site after hours. The park itself was easy to find for us as we used both the Waze and Google maps and directions were spot on. If you have a hard time, look for the signs and look for the Smith's grocery which is right next door. They are dog friendly but do have breed restrictions. I like their fenced in dog areas. It does get hot in this area and there is a lot of asphalt and gravel because of the desert landscaping. Make sure the ground isn't blazing hot before setting your dogs down or they may burn their paws. You can walk to Smith's grocery for the park- there is a gate that leads into their parking lot. I found this park very conveniently located to many things walking distance. It is near the Virgin Casino as well. Full hook ups, pull thru and back in sites, Good Sam's discount, make this park one we will return to in the future. read more

Holly was very helpful in identifying the birds with the unique calls, whistles, and chirps. Grackles. Connie had quarters readily available for laundry. She loves to weed the grounds. Ron advised that the way to get excellent TV reception is to turn the antenna booster off. Good plan. And John (not Ron) is a jolly fellow who helps with things you need. This place is close to the grocery store, restaurants, and awesome places to run! Very clean and quiet. The laundry room and showers are clean and spacious. Lovely palm trees and amazing people. This is our forth time staying at Sun Resorts RV Park. I will say the it is a cute little RV park. however....we always stay in a pull through and no matter which spot we stay in the water from the trees on all those Burms rolls into our camp spot and gets them muddy!!!! but for me... I have complained about that dog area. There is absolutely NO LIGHTING WHATS SO EVER a lighted path TO AND FROM the dog area. ITS SO DARK AND BESIDES YOUR ALWAYS HAVING TO WALK THROUGH SOMEONES RV spot to get there!! I COMPLAINED to the front office and she told me to come back and speak to the owner mysel, knowing I was there for a day. Hope this gets attention and to the right person to change this Situation. read more

Our first impression driving into this park was hmmmmm.....however, we found the location to be super convenient to walk to stores, restaurants and a short drive to see the local sites. The office staff/management was very friendly and helpful. Free coffee and muffins every morning! Adequate bathhouse. Weak, intermittent internet (which we needed for work), however Starbucks is a short walk away and sipping a cappuccino while working is never a bad thing! Great place to stop to rest for the night. It's a really big plus that there is a nice grocery store right next to them, with a gate to get there easily. For the price, it's a good value. The lady that works there is super polite and helpful, the bathrooms and showers are clean, and the RV park is well kept. The town itself isn't great for kids, because the parks are mostly empty and not kept up with, the local restaurants cater to retirees, and there's a slight smell in most of the town, like a wet towel. If you like to gamble though, even the grocery store has machines and there are at least 3 casinos. Turn into the Smith's Grocery parking lot to find the RV park. read more

The park is gravel the bathrooms were closed due to COVID even though all the rest of the restrooms in the parks we visited were opened. Our friends we were traveling with had a problem with their restroom and the lady at the park said well you can use the restroom at the supermarket next door. She was very snarky. We spent two nights next to each other at the park on our way out and when we came back they said we were in opposite ends of the park. I said Rose told us when we made the reservations we would be next to each other. She said you're lucky you even got a spot. We made the reservations a long time before our trip I thought that that was a rude comment. It wasn't like we made the reservations the night before. I will never stay at this park again. read more

Staying my first time tonight. Spaces are kinda narrow. They planted those awful bushy pine trees that get so all over your vehicles and they are not trimmed at the base like a tree. They are overgrown bushes. Gravel and dirt sites. Not Enuf WiFi coverage. Some people living here. I don't like that on RV parks. I prefer vacationers. You can walk thru a gate to the Smiths market next door which has a small drug store in it and a full deli. This RV park provides free coffee at 7 am and something with it. Like a pastry. With Good San discount it cost me about $40 for the night. I really don't think I will stay here again. read more

Pulled in late for an overnight stay. GPS brings you to the incorrect locked entrance, main entrance is on the other side. Very nice park with lots of trees. Pull thru spots were very easy to get into and not tight. Also liked that the office opens at 7am so we could pay and leave right away. Would stay here again. read more

The RV park is really clean and we'll taken care of. Check-in was pretty easy. The dog park lacks a lot. There's no grass, no bench to sit if you wanted. It wasn't sufficient for our dogs need. Overall, we liked it very much and would return again. read more

Well where do i start. My wife and i were taking a short vacation. She had a softball tournament in mesquite, and then we were heading to moab to rock crawl. To haul my rock crawler, i have a 2021 30 ft gooseneck with an older truck camper on it. This allows me to haul my rock crawler. We call them crawler haulers due to my rock crawler weighing 6k lbs. I called three weeks prior to our arrival date to verify that our camper would work. I explained to Rose, what it was and she had no idea what i was talking about. She did not know what a gooseneck trailer was, so i told her it was a fifth wheel because she became agitated with me calling it a goosneck. So i knew this was going to be a wonderful start. We arrived in the evening and checked in. The following morning my wife had an early game, so we went to the fields. On our return, rose the female receptionist and a gentleman who said he was the owner of the establishment walked up to talk to us. At the beginning they were friendly and wanted to pet our dog. Very quickly it went south. The gentleman asked me why i called it a fifth wheel, i explained to him with rose their that i tried to explain to Rose what it was, and she didnt know what i was talking about. The gentleman asked rose if that is what i told her, and she did say i did say gooseneck. Now after a couple more comments, things became heated. I guess they dont call truck campers truck campers, they call them cab over truck campers. Well the guy said i had lied to them to be able to stay there. I called three weeks prior to arriving due to this reason. I understand rv parks have rules, and i understand why they do. Thus is why i called prior. I went through their website to verify their rules and requirements. Nothing, there is nothing. Well back to the situation. After the gentleman called me a liar, my wife and i asked if they wanted us to leave. They said no. We said we would leave if we could receive a refund for the second night due to it being the second day. They said no. I asked if this was private property and if he was the owner, he answered with yes and yes. I told him if he wasnt kicking us out nor would they give us a refund, i told him to get the f!@# out of here. Sorry temper was creeping due to him to call me a liar. After a few more comments between the both of us, he left. He returned an hour later explaining to me he spoke with the owner and that the owner agreed to refund our money if we would leave. I asked why he had to talk to the owner if he was the owner. Both of them lied to me, im guessing he was the camp host. Why he lied and said he was the owner, i dont know but what is done is done. My wife and i were happy to leave. We loaded up and left within the hour. Boondocked it the second night and headed to moab. We still had a great vacation, even with this little speed bump. Its a cramped rv park with people who are more worried about what other people have then what they have. read more

Like many travelers, we needed a place to stay on our way north from Southern California. Mesquite is a great location to stop for the night. This RV park suited our needs. We had a nice and big pull through site that was perfect. I didn't even need to unhitch, although I did so we could drive to dinner in town and get gas. The price was very reasonable, but I just wish they had a pool as it was 110F when we checked in. We took advantage of the gate to Smith's groceries. The people working there were very nice and gave us a recommendation of places to eat. We will definitely stay there again. read more

Needed a quick one night stay while passing through and Sun Resorts was perfect. Full hookups, pull through and back in spaces, and laundry if needed. We called roughly an hour away not knowing what to expect or if they even had a space available but Denise came to our rescue. We caught her 10minutes before closing (sorry Denise!) but she was beyond helpful and nice. Seriously Sun Resorts, she is fabulous. Her directions were perfect and upon our arrival, everything was exactly as she described. Quiet little park, close to the 15 freeway, and right next to a grocery store and Starbucks. Great one night stay, and if we're ever passing through again, we'll definitely stay here. Thank you! read more

Nov 2016..We had a 38 ft Motorhome. Stayed for one week. They are very friendly and the park is the best one in town. Only thing missing are concrete pads. The streets are paved but the pads are gravel. You can walk to Smiths grocery store . Dog friendly ! Good Sam Discount! This park is better then any in Saint George. read more

Sun resort is a very nice RV Park. The management team Cindy and her husband are very nice and respectful it was a easy transition in and I love the park. I would recommend it if you were traveling through Nevada, and it would be a great spot to stay for a few days enjoy the great casinos there and buffet. read more

In my opinion, this is not a destination location. It is good for an intermediate stop. The resort is small. All of the sites are gravel, but are level. There are no large trees. There are only small palms that demise the sites. The sites are marginally wide enough for slides on both sides. The resort is relatively new and is very clean. The bath and shower area is very clean and comfortable. There are not many amenities. No pool or any of the normal amenities. There is a small mini-golf. The RV office provides a lounge area with a pool table and comfortable chairs and couches. The site managers were friendly. There is a Smith's grocery store and numerous restaurants within walking distance. Those are convenient and there are sufficient places from which to choose to eat. read more

The campground is clean and well maintained outside. The staff are friendly. There is NO wi-fi and this is one of the most expensive places we have stayed at. Been on the road all over California for less money per night with wi-fi. I can't get my email or text messages let alone look at instagram. In 2017 all expensive campgrounds need a working reliable basic wi-fi system. read more

From the moment you pull into this park, all eyes are on you, waiting for something to touch the ground. A lounge chair or a cooler. There are NO picnic tables. They circle you like hyenas, waiting for any infraction of the rules, both written and unwritten. No matter what you do nor how hard you try to fit in you will not. Unless you have come here to wait to die. Then definitely. In the Office there is such discord that no one really knows what the rules are or who is in charge. We politely called the office one day and asked for permission to do something. They granted this. We followed the rules to the very letter. 2 days later we were thrown out angrily for this same thing we got permission for. The worst part were the dirty angry looks. Now I would accept this if we had done even one thing wrong. But to get degraded and punished for no wrong doing, that's just sick. Their defense was that the person did not have authority to approve our request. So how is that my fault again? Have these people gone mad? People tend to remember this kind of injustice for a very long time. And warn others. People are connected now, and this is not good for business. They need to clear out the crusty old Workampers and get some new staff in there that actually like people. And camping. read more

The park is conveniently located near the highway and grocery store including a gate access to the Smiths if you're headed over for supplies which is nice. It's a small park so when making reservations the gal (who was very pleasant) was clear that they don't like to do refunds so be certain of what dates you want to book. Understandable yes, but something to consider if you're plans are dynamic and you want freedom to check-out early. This is a pretty plain Jane park. No additional shade or picnic tables for use. All gravel and I'd say pseudo tight spaces so your neighbors may seem closer than normal. Quiet enough space short of the noise from the highway or main road which is to be expected. The paperwork you receive when arriving is comical, it's printed on a piece of paper and not even square. Now that you [Sun Resorts RV] got the rules sorted out, a bit of attention squaring up the sheet for you copy machine would make a better impression. What is not explained when checking in, the copy sheet or elsewhere is that the bathroom is a single room. Which means the commode and the shower are in one room. There is no indication for such, so when using the key-pad for entry you have no idea why it's not working.... until the soft "occupied" voice comes from inside. The guest who I ran into, said the same thing you'd have no way of knowing if someone is in there... or that it's not with more stalls. It's a small park so somewhat understandable it's only for "1", but not noting that anywhere is at a minimum an oversight. The shower room was clean but not pristine. The shelf near the sink was dusty along with the chair rail. Potty seemed clean but the bottom must be only getting weekly attention vs. daily (or twice daily for that matter). Anyone who cleans a bathroom knows the difference. The shower, was an entirely different story. I elected to use the shower so I could let it run and wash my hair vs. the shower in our rig which I try to conserve. Wow, what a huge and uncomfortable mistake. The shower was not only lukewarm (at best) but the head wouldn't stay square and shot only to the corner. Nothing like taking a cold shower crammed into a fiberglass corner. When finished I was cold and completely dissatisfied. NO WAY would I had waited for the previous "occupied" to finish up to yield such sorry results. Got a pooch with you? Good luck finding the dog run. I never did see it (even with multiple trips around the park) but understand its' in the corner and just a little space, no grass or anything. It is not marked, you see a sign at the dumpster near the office that one exists but again, they fall short in signage and amenities. Optionally, you can walk your dog across the way in the Smiths parking area in a dirt lot filled with goat-heads. Or down the road a piece near the ball diamonds which have a grassy spot and dog-waste bags for convenience. We did a loop back through Mesquite the following week and elected for the free bivy spot at the Virgin River Casino and would do so again. It's a meh, park if you want to drop your rig and have it be pseudo-secure. Otherwise, I'm certain there is better value and facilities to be found. read more

This is a very conveniently located park in Mesquite. It's close to a grocery store and several casinos. The park is well maintained and the park is well maintained. Staff is very friendly. There is only one item that prevents me from giving a five-star review; the lack of useable WiFi. There are many RV parks with slow WiFi, but this park tops the list. It's so slow, it's unusable. I would recommend this park to anyone who doesn't need WiFi. read more

We started here as a this park was recommended by family. This park is hard to find as it was not clearly marked, there was a very small sign semi covered by a bush at the driveway you turn into and the sign where you turn into the park is on the wall facing the opposite direction. When we got there the staff was friendly and we sat down and checked in confirming our stay dates and at this point the staff member says oh by the way I may or may not have told you but you have to pay for electricity. This was not acceptable to me but my husband said ok no problem. I'm going to add at this point that my husband signed the paperwork but didn't have his glasses, so did not catch that the wrong dates were written in. When we pulled into our space and unhooked my husband pulled the truck out from under the trailer and parked in front of our site as close to the curb as her could while we leveled the trailer fully intending to move it immediately out of the raid when we were down leveling. At this point family showed up and parked in the vacant spot next to us (the park was almost empty) and we were leaving with said family member within 10 minutes. A staff member came out and told me we needed to move the truck, I replied ok and went to finish so we could move the truck and leave with the family that was waiting. When i didn't immediately go move the truck she approached my husband and asked him to move it now as they didn't want to get in trouble with the fire department and she told my family they needed to move their car now as they had someone coming into that spot (no one was ever in that spot the whole week we were there). We also never saw the fire department. Upon a walk around on night two we saw a car parked in the street at the back of the property blocking the fire lane and also a gate into the property. This car stayed where it was parked the whole time we were there, apparently you can park in the raid and block fire access when you live there. The morning we were leaving, we went into the office to let them know we were leaving earlier then expected so they could read the meter. The staff member says oh your leaving a day early and I said no just earlier in the morning then I thought we were going to and she said no your check out day is tomorrow. I said no it was today I mean I do know when I had to leave. Well apparently she had input in the wrong days so after reading the meter she did the math for time we were there and thinking we were not going to owe anything for electricity or very little she says oh we will just call it even since your leaving a day early. Now keep in mind they give you the frost 25.00 then you pay after that, so that being said by what she charged us since we were going to call it even was 65.00 for 6 nights. Our family living there was shocked when we told then how much it was as they know how much it cost them for electricity. We didn't argue well I started to and my husband just said let's get out of here. Sadly we will never stay here again as the location was good for us and not will our family ever recommend this park to their family or friends and they were lied to as well. This park never filled up as we were told it was going to. We were placed in the middle of a few people when we could have been spread out a bit since the sites are very close together. I hope in the future they are honest with their guests. read more
