To the people of SUNation, My Solar System was installed on 5/27/16. I'd done my homework on solar power, and met with a few companies besides SUNation. I met with Solar Site Evaluator Tom Connolly. He was knowledgeable and didn't try pressuring me to sign immediately. He also didn't try being phony with me by acting like we were best buddies since forever. He's a down to earth regular guy. I became very partial to SUNation after reading the many positive reviews on the company and it's team. I experienced some unprofessionalism with the competition while informing them of my decision for installation with SUNation. The salespersons attitudes became condescending, for example by telling me my house was going to burn down by using solaredge inverter, another sales person telling me what a mistake I was making by choosing SUNation's system. I was being fed a host of lies while they didn't realize I did my homework and I was very capable of making my own decision. That was the first indication I was glad I selected SUNation. I was kept fully in the loop with every step of the way since signing the contract. Maria, Victoria, Beth, Tammy and Gina.....you all were very friendly, informed, and quickly addressed any concerns I had. I greatly appreciated communications and assistance from all of you! Another indication I was happy to select SUNation. On installation day, Nick, Jeff, Kyle and Mike K. were at my doorstep ready to go...they explained every detail and layout of the installation and asked me if I was pleased with a few minor changes in layout. They actually seemed to enjoy their work as well as working with each other. They really cared about doing a professional job. And they left behind a complete solar system...nothing else. After almost 13 years of wanting to go solar with offers that did not make financial sense, along came Sunation. My salesman, Scott, working hand-in-hand with his boss Bruce, came up with a deal that I'd be foolish to pass up. On top of that, I found that my daughter and son-in-law had also used Sunation, and were extremely pleased. This, along with all the prior reviews I read, and the (company) videos I saw - I just knew I had to use Sunation. Not only did they work with me on financing, they designed, and redesigned the best possible and efficient system I could have. Unlike many of their competitors who told me there'd be a wait time of 6 months (or more) before they could install the panels; from the time I signed the contract, to the moment I was on the grid, was a mere EIGHT WEEKS - and this included some carpentry in the attic, getting a new roof installed (by Marcor - another phenomenal company...and separate review), and two days of panel installation (not to mention Sunation making sure everything was done right after the install, by having their own electrical inspector check the finished project AND scheduling the inspector from the Town, as well) EVERYONE involved: the installers, the office liaison, the backroom scheduling, etc. were there to make sure everything went smoothly! And it did! One word from start to finish: PROFESSIONAL! From the moment I signed, I didn't doubt for a second that I was in the best of hands, and that every recommendation they made was in my best interest. "We stand behind our work" is not just a cliché - once the installation is complete, they don't disappear - they are there for you; to answer any questions and handle any issues, like they did for me, relating to the internet monitoring system - and make you feel like family while doing so. The process from beginning to end was quite easy and absolutely worth it. I no longer receive an electric bill, except for the $0.40 per day line usage fee. I had the system up since August 8th 2019 and it has produced 2.63 Mwh of electricity, exporting back to the grid 1.09 Mwh as a credit for future use in case of cloudy, snow and shorter sun days in the winter. There was only one day so far that they produced less than I used. It was 85 deg's cloud rainy and very humid. I understand each application of the panels will be different for everyone, but not having to pay PSEG $233 per month, which is a lot more than what I am paying for the panels, is great. I really encourage everyone to at least see if this is for you. They do not employ high pressure sales tactics and really do understand the needs of New Yorkers. I had my second install with Sunation yesterday at my new house. The team during and before the install were very helpful, professional and courteous. Gina was great! She was always there to answer my questions in detail through out the entire process. Anytime I emailed her I always received a professional and courteous response! A business that saves you money! Really it does! I just wanted express my appreciation for the work, expertise and professional service I've received from Sunation Solar. I enrolled in their Community Solar program. It's a no brainer for residential home owners. Why? Because you can buy electrical energy at reduced cost and therefore save significantly. Great company. No pressure to sign, they explained everything, and I mean everything. We didn't have to lift a finger. We received notice of every step they were doing. We didn't have to file for permits, they did it for us. The minute we got the permit, they called for an installation day. They told us they would be there at 7:30 am and they were there ! He explained where the best place would be and what they needed to do in the basement. By 2pm they were done, and we were up and running... This company is by far the best solar company in the industry. My rep (Bob Jeannetti) was simply amazing. Unlike other big box solar companies, the quote I got on day 1 was there price I paid at the end. From the day I signed, I would get updates once per week to let me know what was being done and what had to be done. Their workmanship is far superior to any other solar company I've seen. All of the wiring & conduit is hidden under the roof line in the attic. There is no ugly conduit going across my roof. I have been making far more energy than I was quoted, which is fine with me. We had our solar panels installed in November 2017, and we are so happy we did! We shopped around a bit and had several salespeople come to give their pitch, but none were able to give us the facts and statistics about our needs except for Steve Foley at Sunation. The installation went very smoothly and they were neat and clean. For the past couple of months we have only paid PSEG about $12 for the line into the house. We are currently working on a negative electric usage, which means we are producing more electricity than what we are using. We are so satisfied with the whole process from beginning to end. My name is Craig. I live in West. Iclip I have originally installed my solar panels withe event. I had 2 water legs when the Sun runs took off. They have refused to place my forced hot air furnish which was contaminated with mold and all reports were sent to them. I just got to call today. My panels have not even drawn my roof in 9 months and that charging made. I owe them close 2thousand dollars. They are refusing to remove it and said they need the panels reinstalled in my home. 4/16/22 My Mom has subscribed to the SUNation service since April 2020. She had asked me to review the service in early 2021. The company that installed my solar energy system 16 years ago is out of business. I recently discovered a problem with one of my inverters. I called about 10 companies and SUNation Energy was the only ones that would even touch a system that they didn't install. They came out and diagnosed the problem and said they could replace my 3 inverters with 1 new inverter since the technology has improved in 16 years. They then came back to do the replacement.
