We had our roof done a few years ago by a family member and there were some major issues - (learned a valuable lesson- you get what you pay for when you have family say they know what they're doing). We pointed out the issues to the representative before we decided to go ahead with replacing our siding and windows. He told us what would need to be done to correct the problem and he was right on. There was another issue found once the work started, which was addressed with minimal additional cost. I love the finished product!! Our new windows and siding look amazing. I can't say enough positive things about the crew. They were respectful, accommodating and cleaned up every day. Around the end they even went around with a magnet to pick up nails that were on the ground. We had some siding blown off in a windstorm several weeks ago and called a few local contractors for repair estimates; Sunrise was one of them and was able to promptly provide an estimate with several options. After meeting with Sheffield, one of the bosses, we decided to replace a complete side panel with a new gable vent. The service requested was performed exactly as we planned with the technicians doing a great job. While on site, they pointed out some issues with our chimney which they were also able to complete a few days later. I called at least half a dozen chimney companies to repair an old concrete crown and come up with a solution to extend and secure my flexible wood stove flue pipe that didn't quite reach the top (it had pulled away and fell short of the top plate). Most other companies only wanted to replace the entire flue pipe at upwards of 4 times the price. Why replace something if it still works? Sheffield fixed the problem by adding just what was needed at a price that beat everyone else...and even caulked a leak while he was there free of charge. I interviewed 3 companies to replace an entire roof on a three bedroom 2 story house. Eddie from Sunrise seemed the most professional and knowledgeable of the three. I didn't know what his price would be. He came in just below the other two bids so it was an easy decision. They came on the day scheduled and completed the entire job in 2 days. This included special attention to adding chimney flashing, new stove vents and all new gutters with screens. I didn't see a single nail left on the grass and not a shrub was damaged. Shefield responded to my request to come and look at my gutters because water was coming through my front door. They responded quickly and came the next day. They were professional and courteous. They addressed the problem. When we had the storm with heavy rain and strong winds I noticed rain coming in my door. Not as bad as before but I was concerned. They are fairly priced and seem to love their business as they throughly discuss with you the proper and correct way of handling the job.
