I am really pleased with the excellent service we received from SunBright Pool Services. We called our home warranty company on July 2nd regarding a very noisy pool motor. The warranty company referred the work to SunBright Pool Services. Shortly after I was off the phone with the warranty company I called SunBright Pool Services to add their number to my contacts. The telephone operator immediately recognized my phone number from the warranty company's work order and scheduled their technician to come out between 7-11 am, on Independence Day! This morning, their technician, Jerry Owen, arrived promptly at 7:30 am and went straight to work. He had the motor replaced with a reconditioned motor in under an hour (I was wrongly informed by another pool service company that my warranty company would probably not replace the motor until our motor actually failed, and that her company would ONLY be able to install a brand new, variable speed motor for nearly $2000!!!). After the installation was complete, Jerry was polite and patient enough to answer a few questions we had, and also offered some very useful tips about when to run our pool motor, and chemical usage. Fortunately for me, the work was covered by our home warranty with American Home Shield with no additional charges. Therefore, I can't honestly say how competitive SunBright Pool Services, prices are compared to other companies, but I do know that I don't mind paying a little more money for service that I TRUST! SunBright Pool Services has earned my trust today, and I will specifically ask for Jerry Owen at SunBright Pool Services for any pool service work I need going forward whether the work is covered by warranty or not. I bought a home with a pool in 2020. This is my first time caring for a pool and it is also a pre-existing pool so that often comes with pre-existing or unknown issues. I had someone from SunBright pools come out when I first moved in to check the equipment and replace a pump. Last night I had some filter/plumbing/not-sure-what-was-going-on issues and SunBright Pools was referred to me again from my Home Warranty company. A very pleasant lady(sorry I didn't catch her name) called me promptly to set up the appointment and she was able to send a technician out first thing this morning. I was given a nice short arrival window which I loved, and Cody arrived right on time. After talking to me about what I was noticing with the pump, when I noticed the issue (what cycle, what I tried to remedy it, etc) he got to work on cycling the pump, did some troubleshooting, explained everything he was doing and why (I asked a LOT of questions!). After a few minor adjustments, everything quieted down and started to run smoothly. Cody was very friendly and super helpful from the moment he rang the doorbell, all the way through my barrage of questions, making the diagnosis and repair, and left still smiling being as polite and kind as he was when he arrived. He didn't try to sell me a bunch of things I didn't need. He was patient and very knowledgeable. Cody started my day off on a great note and I really appreciate all of the information he gave me. I am a much more confident pool owner than I was yesterday, so thank you to Cody and everyone at SunBright Pools for getting my pool in great working order just in time for pool season! read more

This has to be the worst company I have ever dealt with. Both the technician and the manager(Jason I believe) are extremely rude. I have no idea how they are still in business or why anyone would use them. First, the technician came and was short, not friendly at all and you could tell just did not want to be there. He did evaluate the issue and provided an estimate which based on what the technician wrote, would be covered by the home buyers insurance. The problem was this is not what they told the insurance broker. I called to talk to the manager (Jason) and he immediately said "to bad they don't cover automation." As I tried to say not to worry about it, it is covered based on what was put on the estimate order, he just said "I am not going to argue with you and hung up". I called back and he said " go cry in your spilled milk." unbelievable bad service. Luckily we had a video of the technician and his written invoice so we can go back to the insurance company with the proof and get a different company to perform the work. I paid for this company to come and look at the issue and could not be sorrier that I did. Waste of money and would not trust them to skim my pool let alone fix an issue. It was clear unless you were paying them directly with cash, they would do everything possible to get out of doing any insurance work. Why OneGuard uses this company is beyond me. They clearly do not know what they are doing, are rude, do not care about customers and are a scam. Stay far far away from this company. read more

Five months into owning our new home, we discovered the pool heater, which had passed home inspection, wasn't working. Our home warranty company directed us to SunBright pools. Our experience with SunBright was the kind you hope for with a service provider but never seem to get. Within an hour of our warranty company raising the work order to SunBright, they contacted us we had an appointment scheduled for the next morning. Mike came out right on time and was exceptional from the get-go: professional, knowledgeable, straight-forward. He explained things in a way that my non-mechanical mind could understand. He reviewed different options and recommendations for getting our system functional in the most time and cost efficient way. Mike continued to communicate with us through the afternoon so we were comfortable in moving forward with his recommendation. And, we even managed to secure a new heater that day, shocking due to equipment constraints caused by COVID. By the next morning, the old equipment had been removed and the new equipment delivered. By that afternoon, Mike had the entire system up and running and validated that everything worked not only at the equipment but from the portable remote as well. Our experience was amazing - 48 hours from our first call to having a fully-operational system. We highly recommend SunBright and Mike! Thank you for making it so easy. read more

SunBright Pool Service was amazing to work with. I was away on vacation when my pool pump stopped working. A neighbor texted me. So, when I got home several days later, I called my home warranty company and it assigned SunBright Pool Services to come do the warranty work. What a fortunate assignment for me! Within 30 minutes of my call to the home warranty company, I had a call from Callie at SunBright Pool Services to schedule an appointment. The appointment was set 2 days out from my call. I asked if there was an earlier time because it had already been several days without the pump working... and Callie said she'd let me know if there was a cancellation. A couple hours later, Callie called and rescheduled for the next morning at 7 AM!!!!!! YES, thanks, Callie! Steven was here promptly at 7 AM, was extremely polite, stood back from the door so as not to crowd the it when I opened it. I felt very comfortable with him right away. He introduced himself, then went right to work diagnosing the problem with the motor. It was shot. Much to my surprise, and gratitude, he was able to replace it in a matter of minutes and my greenish pool will soon be back to its gorgeous blue. I have a vacation home in Scottsdale and had an issue with my pool pump running dry and AHS sent out sunbright pools to remedy the problem when Cody showed up and reached out to me and explained what the issue was he was very informative . A pipe got broken on the pump that someone had leaned on he sent me pictures showing me the problem and explained to me that no way AHS would pay for it as it's not wear and tear as someone broke it . I totally agreed with his assessment that it was abuse not wear and tear he repaired it right away and put in a great effort to remove fitting from pump instead of up selling me a new pump .Cody also pointed out another legitimate issue i had with a valve sucking air which he also repaired i personally payed for all repairs . I appreciated his honesty because sometimes these home warranty vendors get stuck in a tough spot home owner thinks vendor should twist the truth so it gets covered by warranty then get offended when they won't homeowner always has the option to call home warranty company to get another vendors opinion . Sun Bright deserves a 5 start rating ! If Danny & Mike are the face of Pool Bright then I highly recommend using them. Heck ask for them when you need service you will not be disappointed I promise ! Its not to often these days when you can get Honest, Polite, Knowledgeable& Helpful all wrapped up into 2 service employees from one company. Danny & Mike are exactly that Danny has over 17 years experience in the pool business and it shows not sure about Mike experience but he is right there as well. They fixed my bad pool pump fast efficient and the right way the first time! I also had a pool pipe that was installed incorrectly from original installation that Danny said that is not right let me fix that the right way and he did ! Who does that these days ? I will recommend to all that I know that have pools and request them when I need work in the future ! And I will let my insurance company know how I feel as well. We had to have SunBright come out AGAIN after just having them put one of their rebuilt pool pump motors on Aug 2019, that one apparently took a dive! March 2020 I paid the $125 AGAIN to my home warranty ins company. My husband talked to Steven on the phone and asked him to please call him with the diagnosis BEFORE putting another one of their rebuilt motors on, well he didn't! Instead Steven took it upon himself to install yet another one of their rebuilt motors without the home owners permission. I was able to catch Steven as he was putting the receipt on the front door, and I asked him why he put another rebuilt motor on knowing my husband was waiting for his call with a diagnosis? His words were "I already put it on, just wait til that one takes a dive and call AGAIN!" WHAT??!! My husband called Steven back and unfortunately Steven got snappy and rude. This company has yet failed again for the second time, and I have informed my home warranty company. I highly recommend you look elsewhere for a pool service company and if your using your home warranty company then request they don't send SunBright Pool Services. read more

Steven Salisbury, from SunBright Pool Service came out and got my pumps up in running in a matter of minutes replacing the Start Capacitors. What I really like is when I walked out to his truck it was loaded with Pumps, Housings, Fittings, Capacitors, Motors to handle pretty much any problem he could or might encounter on our or your pool system. I actually started doing my own pool repairs from my last house in Desert Harbor because the Technicians wouldn't have the basic parts to fix my pool pump problems and it would be down for days. I had back surgery in 2012 so I rather pay someone to do the work. SunBright Pools is my New go-too Company for all my Pool Needs. Thanks for being a full service pool company. These folks came out to do a warranty repair and I was able to schedule them within 24 hours. Unfortunately, because I have severe sleep apnea, I need to take sleep medication and it is pretty strong. I slept through an alarm, the TV that I left on at night, the service people calling me on the phone and ringing my bell. Nevertheless , to their great credit they went into the yard and repaired the filter. They left a note on my patio table and as soon as I woke up I called them, apologized, and paid for the service call. I sure hope they read this review because they did a good job and were patient about having to spend more than usual time at my house and went above and beyond the call of duty to effect the repair. For that, I am truly sorry, and I want to publicly apologize to them again. I did learn a lesson from this - I will NEVER schedule early morning appointments again. Today was at least the second occasion that SunBright Pool Services has provided service for my in-ground pool. As you can deduce, I was pleased with the 1st service(s), hence, my request to have them service my pool/pump again. Steven was the service tech today and he was very pleasant and took the time to explain the reason that I was having problems with my pool pump/motor and the condition of my pool water. Steven arrived between the hours that were indicated, actually toward the earlier hours of the time frame, which was great because that freed up the rest of my day. He completed the work quickly with instructions that even I found easy to follow. Steven will actually be back to my property on this weekend to complete another project (drain my pool and possible replace pool lamp). In October 2019 we noticed our old pool pump was leaking & put in a claim with our home warranty company. SunBright Pool Services was the company assigned to do the repair Steve from SunBright quickly diagnosed the problem & replaced the seals in our pump. He also noted that the foundation that our pump & filter system sat on was cracked, and suggested that we have it replaced in the near future to prevent further problems. We also asked about replacing the old pump with a variable-speed unit. Before he left he gave us a great price for replacing the cracked foundation, and installing a new variable-speed pump. As soon as we got our tax refund we called SunBright & had Steve out to replace the foundation & install the new variable speed pump. He fully explained the new pump programming & operations and I would highly recommending asking for Steve if you need any pool repairs & services. read more

These guys know what they are doing. They are friendly and very professional. Through my home warranty, they sent out SunBright Pool Services. I had a problem with a two actualtor valves. The repair technician Danny tried to work with my warranty company to see if my policy would cover the cost of the repair. Unfortunatly, actualtor valves are the ONLY valves my policy does NOT cover. So, Danny could have taken me for a ride and replaced both, but he didn't. One of the valves was gone. It simply stopped functioning. On the other valve, he found that mouse or something ate through wire leading to the valve. So, he repaired the wire and my valve started working properly. This says a lot about the ethics of this company and the honesty of their employees. I highly recommend this company. On the day of my repairs, SunBright Pool Services made a customer for life and a huge advocate for them. read more

We called our home warranty service for a problem we were having with our pool motor/pump. Service was dispatched for first thing this past Monday morning. Danny arrived on time as scheduled and immediately assessed the problem and recommended a solution. In no time at all, the problem was fixed and the pool equipment is again running as expected. The office personnel at SunBright Pool Services responded to our call promptly, which we greatly appreciated. In addition, we are very impressed with Danny who serviced the pool equipment.
