Lindsey actually came early for the diagnostic appointment and found the problem (clogged suction pipe) and returned the next morning and removed it in 5 minutes. Total cost was less than most companies were asking just for the diagnostic visit. Will definately use them again. read more

Aqua Sentry did fine by me, the came and replaced my motor and that's, that. They do a great job and communicate well.

Aquasentry has serviced the pool for the past two years or so. There have been a series of issues and the company has shown no genuine interest in discussing them, much less considering any responsibility. Today's attempt to open a civil conversation was met with confrontation, i.e. get to the point. The conversation deteriorated from there. We will move on to another service and regret having invested time and money with the company. read more

They maintain records on my service which makes it easy to discuss past and future work as needed. They always call in the morning to let me know the service window that day. These guys do a great job and test my pool water all the time. They are also really good at finding out why my Hayward has stopped working. We had Aqua Sentry out to change the sand in our pool filter. They did a great job and went over everything so I understood what was being done. They also had to enter our patio area in order to use an outlet - I explained that our pool wasn't staying as clean as we would like it to and said I was going to work on brushing, backwashing etc that afternoon. Danan said that he was going to test the water to see if he could let me know what was going on. He said that we had mustard algae and the chlorine was low and waited so I could get some chlorine and showed me the type of chemical that would specifically target the mustard algae. Very helpful and went above and beyond the job he initially came out to do. I definitely recommend Aqua Sentry if you are in need of a repair, trouble shooting or maintenance. read more

I have used Aqua Sentry for all of the 27 years we have had a pool and they have always tried to help and usually succeeded. There was one goof, but far more good outcomes over the years. They have access to all the needed chemicals and equipment And have changed filters, added salt systems and various valves and controls over the years. I do mown pool chemistry tests and additions, but they have done almost all the equipment maintenance and replacement and have counseled me as to what to do and not do. read more

We bought a new pool pump for our swimming pool less than a year ago. Had a bearing start leaking, so I called Aqua Sentry, who I bought the pump from, and asked for service. I was told that it was out of warranty so I would have to pay for it. I questioned them because the time was so short and the pump was so expensive. They came and fixed it and charged me $161.06, which I paid. A few months later another bearing went out. I called Aqua Sentry to come out and fix it. They told me to call Pentair because they didn't service that brand anymore. When I called Pentair and told them I wasn't happy because this pump was less than a year old and the second bearing is going out and now I have to pay another $161.06 to fix. They informed me that the pump was still under warranty and I won't have to pay anything, and should have never been charged the first time. I called Aqua Sentry 3 times now, they said they would look into it. To this day they have not refunded me or returned any calls. Also found out that Aqua Sentry was not a certified installer for Pentair. Buyers beware!!!!! read more

I have been a customer since 2001. They came out and did a filter clean and also replace an 0-ring on a valve. The tech forgot to turn back all the valves to the proper positions and as a result it stopped flow to my salt cell stopping chlorine production. I didn't realize it for a couple of days. By the time I noticed I had algae and the pool was filthy because it hadn't been filtering correctly. They were not apologetic at all. Wouldn't come out for two more days to fix their mistake. Told me to just shock the pool while waiting for service. Truthfully they could have probably fixed the issue via facetime but were so unhelpful and unconcerned. I live within 5 minutes of the shop, so it wouldn't have been a huge inconvenience to just make things right. I told them that I was a long time customer and very loyal. I asked him if he could just send someone out. He said they had over 3000 customers and basically told me to go and take a hike, they didn't need me. So, I'm no longer a customer. It's a shame, after Aqua Sentry was sold, the service has steadily gone downhill. read more

I had a very bad experience with them a few years ago. Their installer Richard came to put in a salt system. I found him teasing the dog (apparently doorbells are not his thing). He left without completing the work. I was told by the company it was because we "stole a shovel years before." Hey ... if I am going to steal, it will be for 7 figures or more! 7 months later and my pool is in need of repair. The pump housing has crack from being over tighten as well as the motor not being set level causing lots of vibration. This should have been replaced with the new motor as quoted. You would think for 210.00 dollars in labor they would know how to screw on a motor correctly. NO wonder it only took 25 minutes. Had this company do summer pool maintenance. They arrived every week as scheduled and did a great job! When the pool filter had a leak, I called them, they came out as scheduled and on-time, diagnosed the problem, ordered the part and then came back to do the installation. They are my "go to" company for anything having to do with the pool. I would not call anyone else. read more

Hayward referred this company to make a repair on a valve for our new filter. They took days to get here, when they did they had the wrong part, told me they had to order it (took longer) and then came unannounced to replace it. Needless to say the valve was junk and they came three more times, and once with a rep. Still leaks today and pool is green, green, green! When we called this time they said the will get with the rep and ironically they have not been able to reach him. They might clean pools well but we won't use Hayward or Aqua Sentry again. read more

I had an LED color pool light installed last spring. Over the summer we noticed a strange color line and inquired about it. Someone came out during daylight hours, where you can't tell anything with a pool light, and only found their installation to be faulty. Initially they wanted to charge both parts and labor to correct it. However, I declined paying the labor as it should have been done correctly the first time but they still charge for the part. Regarding the original issue of the strange line, I still have that and they will not return calls or emails. The saddest part is that the light itself is WELL within the manufacturer's warranty -- replacing would only be a a trip out which could be done whenever they are around. Sad. read more

I am quite disappointed with Aqua Sentry Pools service. They added time of service and overcharged me every possible way. I called Aqua Sentry Pools office three times in hope to discuss the issues with their managers. Finally 5 days later a manager from Aqua Sentry Pools called me back. From the very beginning he stated that all charges will stay as is and nothing could be done about it. I did not have a chance to explain the issues I have had with their service. I was very impressed with Aqua Sentry's work and customer service. Danan did a fantastic job cleaning our pool, and it was in bad shape. It looks wonderful now. Keith was also extremely helpful and answered all my questions. He also went above and beyond getting the information we needed. Keith was also very patient when speaking to me on the phone when I didn't know what I was doing and when the dogs were barking and the baby was crying in the background.
