The person working in the gas station said it was really good and so I gave it a shot. The food truck is very unassuming, but the service was great. The woman who took my order was really kind and answered all of my questions about the menu. She said the pork was similar to al pastor as opposed to carnitas, so I decided to try that because I love that combination of sweet and heat. It took about 10 minutes to get my food which wasn't a big deal, but it's worth noting as there's no real place to sit down or wait aside from your car. When I got home, I was shocked when I opened the container and saw just how much food they gave. The fries were hot, crispy, and seasoned. The hot sauces they gave me, a roja and a verde, packed a punch. But the burrito... oh my goodness... so flavorful. The pork was juicy and tender and melted in your mouth with minimal chew. The pico de gallo tasted fresh and it helped cut through the fattiness and richness of the pork. The rice and beans were typical rice and beans, nothing to write home about, but everything was really balanced. My only real note was the juices were overflowing so I had to resort to eating with a knife and fork. Also, while I loved that they toasted the burrito on the outside, it gave me store bought vibes; if they used freshly made tortillas, this would be incredible. We've seen it from Columbia to Finksburg MD! This time we found them at an event in Savage Park in Savage MD, (Jun 2026), in a cluster of trucks gathered in a corner of the parking lot next to one of the fields in a little league tournament. We already had hot dogs before we saw the DMV truck, and we had no regrets, but also no room for more. But we love love these birria tacos. Tender, juicy, flavorful, with lots of consommé on the side for dunking. We got some to take home, and they reheated really well, losing none of the flavors or aromas, just losing some of the crispiness of the taco shell. They were a glorious mess! We got an order of flavorful shrimp tacos, too. Scrumptious! Generous! They had birria, chicken, shrimp, or veggie tacos or quesadillas or burritos or rice-bowls, loaded fries, even a birria grilled cheese, birria empanadas, or a birria or combo hoagie! That's like a week of comfort foods to choose from! Beverages include Jarritos, and they have churros for dessert with sipping chocolate. Where will we seem them next! The Plato Oaxaca also came with separate tortillas, and a platter of beans, rice, pico de gallo, and guacamole freshly made (which was some of the best I Have tasted any where) . Ariana was very attentive thru the whole meal, with out being in any way intrusive. She also surprised us with a complimentary dessert of a caramel filled cinnamon cake and fresh whipped cream on a long skinny tray that had Happy Anniversary spelled out on it in chocolate sauce.
