Sundays Best is pretty good. The menu has some unique items on it. I will say, this place is a bit over hyped. The ambiance is super cool the first time you're there - I think this is a special occasion only type place. It doesn't give the "classic Sunday" vibe. It's a super unique spot, but I don't go out of my way to go as it's always packed and always takes a while. If you're looking for a really special brunch and have time to stay a while and enjoy some mimosas, definitely try it. read more

K, I have been wanting to come here since I saw the neon sign outside being put up during construction. First, the vibes were so fun! It's refreshing to finally see a restaurant pop up like this in utah. The midcentury modern and neon sign vibes were absolutely the right vibe especially for the Instagram lol. That alone made the experience super fun. However, while the atmosphere and decor were beautiful, I wasn't that sold with the food. I thought it was way overpriced with what they delivered. We first got the avocado toast and it was great but 6 small pieces with little avocado was a bummer. It had great flavor tho. I would give it a 10/10 for flavor. My fiancé had the Eggs Benedict and gave it a 7.5/10. He said the biscuit was good but felt like it was just an average Eggs Benedict. For the price, it didn't hit. I had the Huevos Racheros and gave it a 5.5/10. This is one of my favorite dishes and I tend to get it a lot at breakfast joints. This was almost like a mix of Chile verde and huevos rancheros. It lacked spicyness, it lacked flavor. I would've liked avocado slices and maybe some crema, and eliminate the cabbage. I also am a sucker for green sauce but huevos rancheros usually has a red tomato sauce. I would've been fine with a green sauce but this one just lacked in flavor all the way around. Maybe it was the pork Chile verde? Idk I left feeling disappointed that I paid 20$ for a huevos rancheros that was average. I was hoping that a 20$ huevos rancheros would be the missing thing in my life and that it would be my new favorite thing. It unfortunately wasn't. All in all, while the vibes (they even have live music) were fun, our food choices just weren't a hit especially for the price point. So if you plan on coming, know they cater more towards the experience rather than the food. I do hope that they can get the food right tho. im planning on going again and getting something different. My best friend and I went there for lunch for the first time. AND LET ME TELL YOU,WE LOVED IT! The decor, table plates and service. We started our meal with BS dutch baby ( yumm mo in Rachael Ray's voice). For our main meal my friend order their truck stop breakfast. She really liked the biscuit and eggs. The potato was little salty for our taste and the sausage was a bit dry. As for me I ordered their biscuit and gravy with fried chicken (meat of choice). This was my second time to this restaurant. We were there on a Wednesday during lunch. Of course it was supper noisy. We were seated rather quickly, but it took longer than normal to receive our lunch. Server was nice.... This is my complaint. I ordered avocado Toast and the server asked me if I would like Bacon, tomato, and cucumbers. Of course, I said," that would be nice." I'm not cheap, but I was quite shocked when I went over the bill. The charge to add these items came to $9.00. Not cool!!! The server never mentioned that this would be an up-charge. Worst $74 (for two) I've paid in my life. This place exists only for the aesthetic of social media "influencers" showing that they had brunch at a place with corny neon signs and cheesy decor. The only reason it even gets one star is Quinn, our waitress. We lucked out with the only person who seemed genuine, and from the looks of it, the only employee out of college. The ticket/order was input correct, but our food came out of the kitchen completely botched, other than the monkey bread. Our iced coffees were burnt lol. My breakfast sandwich had everything I had requested removed, was bland and unseasoned, and my potatoes were the worst I've tasted in my life. My wife's truck stop breakfast was bland as well, but to make it even worse, her hash browns were cooked in burnt oil, making the entire dish go from just bland, to bland and burnt. Breakfast and brunch is by far the easiest thing to cook and it's clear their focus is on "the look". Now that I know, I'd rather make breakfast at home. At least I know how to cook seasoned unburnt food. On the off chance you enjoy eating horrible food around young, superficial, basic npcs, watching how many eye rolls you can count from the wait staff as they walk away from their guests, and snapping a picture next to neon lights after you've been here, you're in the right spot. read more

I assume the wait times are long so I would definitely have a reservation. The decor and setting of the restaurant is very chic and cute. The waitstaff was very nice and accommodating. We ordered the beignets, that came with a raspberry sauce. They were soft and warm. The sauce was to die for. Definitely would order again! I ordered the strawberry ricotta pancakes as my meal. The pancakes themselves were just plain ricotta but they did come with strawberries on top. It also came with a really sour lemon curd, that I didn't use. But the syrup was delicious. I LOVE CHICKEN AND WAFFLES , however the chicken meat was brown and hard. I tried to just eat the waffle by itself but they put a sauce on it to go with the chicken making it disgusting by itself. Do not recommend. The iced Carmel macchiato was really yummy with oat milk. $6 + $1.50 for oat milk. We shared monkey bread $13, overcooked and the sauce made it hard to chew. My friend ordered the Egg Sando, said the potato's were good however the egg on the sandwich was way undercooked. My other girlfriend ordered the avocado toast with added bacon and said it was delicious. Overall, the cutest little breakfast spot but not great food, especially for the price. I have no idea what the reviewers on here mean when they say the food is bland or just OK. Rarely in Utah can you find a restaurant that pays as much attention to the details as what Sunday's Best does. Coffee beans are good quality roast & I'd bet ground fresh. We had the regular Benedict and the BLT Benedict. Eggs appear prepared sous vide with the yolks perfect. Ham gave a nice smokiness to the regular Benedict & the hollandaise sauce was actually made fresh & not from a packet mix. The BLT Benedict was an unconventional take with the arugula & tomato dressing replacing hollandaise sauce as the vinegar in the dish. My entire palate was engaged! I wasn't sure about brioche bread as the base, but this one wasn't overly sweet like most of the brioche I've had in my life. I got a side of hashbrowns which appeared oven-baked with nice crispy edges. I'm not sure what kind of oil they use, but it really complements the potatoes and brings out their flavor. I didn't need to dump tons of salt on these hashbrowns like I normally do. And the breakfast potatoes that the Benedict came with were fingerlings cut in half and cooked to perfection. Plus they are open until 4pm on weekends (which is great for us because we like to sleep in). Well, I'll say they are open until 3:30pm because we did see them turn away a party that arrived at 3:40pm. Creative breakfast dishes super well executed.
