We planned a girls day out to celebrate a long-time friend visiting in town and were looking for a healthy meal in Easton. Sunflowers and Greens was recommended by another friend. It was AMAZING! We ate outside on a beautiful day, the wait service was great, and the tables were ample size and cute. The restaurant is bright and clean and the staff so friendly and helpful. They serve a nice variety of chef-recommended salads - and you can add extras - or just create your own salad. Three of us tried different chef-recommended salads - I had the summer berry salad - and since I don't like goat cheese they let me replace it with something else - I chose strawberries. It was truly delicious. I ate every bite. I also had their soup of the day which was a vegan peanut soup. OMG, it was SO delicious. Before I ordered, I asked how spicy the soup would be - and the chef came out of the back to describe it to me - tomato based and so so good. he even offered me a small sample which I took him up on. Very good service-- and the soup isn't spicy. My girlfriends tried the Poached Pear salad and another one - and they all raved about them. We will definitely come back again. read more

I was craving some veggies while on a vacation in Easton so walked over here for a salad. I am so disappointed that I don't live nearby so I could come again. This has to have been the best salad I've had in ages. I could go on and on with praise for this place: -It's adorable. Seriously. So cute. -The staff is friendly. -You get to build your own salad. Picky people rejoice! -All the salad ingredients were fresh, nothing wilted. -Your salad comes with a delicious slide of bread on the side. -The butter you get with the bread is the real deal. I'm a lover of good butter and this was nice butter. -The dressing...I'm going to have dreams about that soy ginger vinaigrette. They put a bit too much on for my taste, but it was sooooo good I didn't mind. I would like to buy a bottle of that, please. My only regret is that I didn't try one of those cookies giving me eyes from the display case. But alas, I had come specifically because I was feeling like I needed some veggies and a double chocolate cookie is definitively NOT veggies. Darn. read more

The reviews had built this place up and I already knew it would not disappoint! my fiancé and I ordered the same salad-one of the Signature Salads (most popular and after eating it I understand why)- Mediterranean Salad( baby spinach, arugula, & Napa cabbage, grilled Gulf shrimp, olives, avocado, red bell pepper, pine nuts, preserved Lemon & Thyme vinaigrette. If I could channel Julie Andrews & sing " these are a few of my favorite things ", I would... and served with a small but satisfying wedge of crusty bread.... just outstanding. Butter served at the right temperature in a beautiful little white domed dish. whoever chose the wines - a nod of approval. I couldn't afford the Ducru-Beaucaillou 1986 yet they do offer three sizes 2,4 or 6 oz @ $30,$60 & $90 respectively. Wines all Appropriately housed in a cuvenee system - a temperature controlled system that keeps wines as fresh as the moment they are uncorked for up to six weeks. So impressed with this crown jewel. My family and I have eaten here multiple times. We will never return. The food is fine. The staff is quite friendly. Today, though, we were eating outside and the manager was talking on his cellphone quite loudly in the street nearby. We didn't pay much attention until he put his phone down and yelled at our five-year old son who was merely touching the plants outside the restaurant. He snapped at him so rudely I had to confront him and ask him to be nice despite it being my nature to avoid such confrontations. We had just received our food but we left it on the table paid for yet uneaten and left immediately. I can't tell if it was because he hates kids or if it was because we were the only mixed race table in the establishment. The reaction was so disproportionate to what my son was doing that I can only assume he didn't want us to be there. We were quiet, unassuming, and polite despite having three young kids. The place is small which is an asset in my mind but could get crowded at peak times? Reasonably priced. This location is only open for breakfast and lunch. there is a newer location next door that offers fine dining, wine pairings etc. on limited evenings.
