I stopped by the sunglass hut showroom on 07/28 to fix a screw which came loose on my Burberry glass which i purchased couple of months before . When i informed my issue to the store manager he just asked me to come after an hour, not to mention i was sent away by one of the staffs at Village mall when i inquired about fixing my Burberry glass. Bad customer service don't waste your time trying to return or exchange when you buy from a different Sunglass Hut they gave me the run around send me to their second store in the Mall same the manager called the assistant manager she pretty much told him not to do the exchange because she's a hater! I was trying to exchange brand new never worn sunglasses that I didn't like but they did not have what I wanted in store or available to order so then I requested a return they told me they couldn't find my order BS I showed them the email receipt wasted an hour drove back to where I originally purchased in Ventura County AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE THERE THEY FOUND MY ORDER WITHIN SECONDS NO QUESTIONS ASKED! I stopped by here to originally get a Oakley sunglasses cleaner. When I walked in, I was the only customer in the store so the 2 workers greeted me. They asked if I needed any help, I told her not yet. I was looking at their Oakley sunglasses selections and they have some but not all. I didn't see any of the one I like so I proceeded to look for the Oakley sunglasses cleaner. I found them at the counter where you paid and that's when the worker asked if I wanted to try Sunglasses Hut own cleaner. They said that it's free refill at any of their stores and it's also a little bit cheaper. I was open on trying it out so I purchase it. The first try on my sunglasses were pretty good. The spray nozzle is perfect compared to the Oakley one and it didn't leave any smear marks afterwards. read more

Margo is great. I told her I wanted aviators, I usually wear D&G eyewear but I'm open, and I have a big head. I didn't have to ask her to find stuff for me, she just did. Yay! Finally! I love that this mall is like South Coast. I mean seriously... Do I have to ask for everything? Well Margo is great. She brought me lots of choices to try. Some good, some weird, some wonderful, but she wanted me to try a bit of everything so that I can have as many choices as possible. Ray Ban? No thanks. Burberry? There are TWO Sunglass Huts in the Westfield Topanga Mall. One is downstairs near H&M and Victoria's Secret. The other is upstairs across from the Apple Store in the "Canyon" area. I went to the one upstairs. There's nothing about this store being shady, it's really bright and cheery. You can see why people would want to shop here. The store is visually appealing. There was no stigma to shopping here. I went to make my once-every-seven-years purchase of pricey wraparound sunglasses. My Oakley sunglasses were gross and had broken and been put back together for years. By some miracle, I never lost or broke them. Time to get a similar pair. The salesperson was super friendly and helpful. She talked me into paying more for better sunglasses but gave me a visual demo that made it a no-brainer to buy the more expensive polarized pair. In Southern California, you need sunglasses year round for driving and outdoor fun. Sunglass Hut is a great place to get them. I'm glad they trained this person well and she gave me great service. read more

Got a hard time having my Ray-Ban sunglasses that I originally bought from the Citadel Outlets branch. As a matter of fact I shouldn't have had my pair of Sunglasses replaced the following day, if not for the carelessness of one associate who tried to remove the sticker tags with a sharp pair of scissors which resulted to deep scratches on the frame. Anyway, this store in Westfield were very unaccommodating and were busy doing their own stuff behind the counter. Very uncoordinated work, had to wait for the counter-guy to start working with the customer's order lining up and doing his stuff still. Only one nice lady who had a handful of customers, also was doing shelf-cleaning at the same time was handling people coming in the store to get their pair of glasses either for Christmas present or personal use this coming holiday. 2 stars for having my pair replaced with a neat one... read more

Unfortunately, I will no longer be giving my business to this location or the other location in this mall. At both locations, the staff have terrible attitudes. Richard is amazing! My boyfriend bought me Ray ban aviators a few months ago and they were never properly fitted. They were loose and needed to be tightened. While roaming around Sephora I got a call from my boyfriend raving about the guy at sunglass hut that saved his Tom Ford's. I headed over to have him fix mine, as well....Wow! Not only is Richard incredibly friendly, welcoming and excited to help you but he is very knowledgeable. I had purchased sunglasses at this location for my 8-year old, who after trying them on at home, decided he didn't want them. A week later, I went to the Sunglass Hut location in Sherman Oaks, where the refund was rudely refused, in spite of their 90-day refund policy. After a call and e-mail to the Sunglass Hut main office, I received a call from Gary at the Westfield Topanga location, and he couldn't have been nicer or more apologetic about my treatment at the other store. I went in that morning, was greeted warmly, and the refund was completed within minutes. Kudos to Gary and the staff at Westfield Topanga for their professionalism and dedication to customer service. read more

The music was so loud we couldn't hear the sales guy, and even if we had been able to hear him, he was so BAD at selling it wouldn't have mattered. They have a good selection and if you know what you want it's not a bad place, but the downstairs store has a better sales person despite a slightly smaller selection. read more

Richard is amazing. I took in a pair of Prada's to be adjusted and Richard was able to repair what Lens Crafters said could not be repaired. The frames were skewed a bit and Richard spent 30 minutes repairing them and explaining what to do it the problem occurs again. He is very professional, respectful, polite and a great guy. He takes his job seriously and does an EXCELLENT job. I would recommend this store to anyone needing sunglasses and go to Richard!! Went in because I dropped and broke one of the lenses of my Ray Ban Wayfarers, was going to get a new pair but I was told I could order just new lenses. They gave me the phone number to order them and I did, much much cheaper! Sunglass Hut will install them for free too! When I purchased $250 RAY_BAN sunglasses from salesman named "Austin" gave me the displayed one because they only received one stock form their headquarter. And it's because the model is new. So that means if any one wants to buy a new model you have to buy dirty scratched display sunglasses at the store. And speaking of the display product, salesman was pretending to wipe out the dirt of glasses but the scratches and dirt was still remained on the sunglasses after of all. Finally he put the sunglasses into the some weird no name brand case and then he scanned my ID for the purchasing process that I couldn't understand. After 10 minutes later, I felt so bad with the service & product so I returned the sunglasses. During the refund, the sales man print the receipt 2 times with wrong name after scanned my ID again. The whole returning process was unprofessional and it seems like he was playing with my ID. Also He didn't give me back my ID right after he scanned. I am still feeling suspicious about this sunglasses hut service and system. MY conclusion of experience with sun glass hut is they are presenting bad customer service and asking too much personal information which could cause for the scamming. read more
